You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin. Hebrews 12:4.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Many people pass off sin lightly and permit themselves to entertain it every day. But sin is a very serious and very dangerous evil that will ruin your life, physically and emotionally, and not just yours, it has a way of spreading. If you let sin in, even once, it can spread as quickly as wildfire. One spark can take down a whole forest if not quenched immediately. Sin is like that as well.

Samson began his lustful ways by an act of rebellion against his parents’ advice and what seemed like it would never master his strength turned into the offering of his heart to sin in the flesh which caused him to lose his sight, his strength, and his freedom. He cut short his own life.

And it all happened so easily and so deceitfully. Delilah was beautiful but sin was not, it ensnared the strongest man that ever lived and turned him into a helpless captive of the enemy. And ultimately it shortened his life and the assignment he was meant to live was turned from supernatural victory to fleshly defeat. The wicked cut short their lives and their days are filled with torment, but the righteous live out their days in fruitful pursuits and their days are filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. You choose.

Samson and Samuel had very similar beginnings and both had leadership assignments in governing My people and freeing them of their enemies, but Samson’s life and Samuel’s life were very different. Samson turned from light to darkness while Samuel brought the people out of darkness into light. No one mourned Samson’s death, but Samuel’s death was greatly mourned, and he was very honored. I honor those who honor Me for I can trust them in little things and in greater things. I can entrust them with promotion and with leadership to bring My people out of darkness to light. I can make them lights to the nations.

Sin is the reason Jesus came to save you and that He had to die such a painful death for you and suffer so much grief. This was the result of Him bearing your sins and all they cause. He became sin for you so you could become righteous with My righteousness in Him. By His gift, you are cleared, cleansed, and sanctified of sin as if sin had never been. And that should be your steppingstone to greatness. Jesus stooped to make you great so you could reign upon the earth as the awesome and strong Body of Christ, shining as lights in this dark world as you hold forth, and hold fast, to the Word of life.

Go forth and shine from a pure life free from sin and set this confused and captive generation free! Why are so many captive in darkness by their own flesh? They do not know Me because they do not know My Word. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. You will not find among any of My followers, those who love My Word and delight in My commandments as their opportunities to shine, even one who is a murderer, drug dealer, sex trafficker, or abuser. When the seed of My Word is planted in your heart and is growing up and producing fruit, you will not sin. No, I call those who follow Me, not only disciples, but saints, the called out and sanctified ones that abide in the vine and bear much fruit. They are attached to Me and they are not able to participate in sin, any more than a grape vine can yield bananas.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor perverts, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus but that is not the end of the matter, you are still on this sin infested earth, and you must avoid sin at all costs. Resist even to the point of shedding blood rather than sin.

Why is it so important not to sin? Sin ruins your life—it steals your dreams and all that is dear to you, kills your joy and puts you in fear. It destroys your future and your hope. Sin ruins your ability to bear good fruit that endures and to be a blessing to yourself and others. Sin looks like freedom in rebellion against any restraint, but it ends locking you into a very tight place of constraint. I call it the fleeting joys of sin. But I give you the joy that one can take from you.

Jesus came to set the captives free. For if you hear His Word and repent, that is change your way of thinking and seeing, and if you continue in My Word, then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Knowing lies and evil does not set you free, it keeps you in bondage. And it is awful to live in deceit that stops you from doing anything fruitful with your life and then find out in old age what your life could have been if you had only lived the truth of My Word instead of the lies of the world, the flesh, and the devil. And the sad thing that grieves Me and Jesus, as well as the Spirit,  is that often it is people who actually have faith in Me and love Me but have been taught and raised upon religious doctrines and traditions that nullify My Word and hold people in sickness, poverty, and pain as redemptive and holy. The curse is not holy.

When Jesus became a curse for you it destroyed Him in the flesh, but I raised Him according to the Spirit. He died the death to sin once for all, so that you too might walk in newness of life—dead to sin and alive to Me. You are not to spend your life held prisoner to what Jesus died to free you from.

Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification . . . For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:16-19, 23.

Righteousness is such a beautiful way to walk. It means you are right with Me and right with yourself. At peace with Me and at peace with yourself. Sin is disharmony but righteousness is perfect harmony. Where sin is there is trouble, violent upheaval, and injustice reign. Where righteousness is there is peace, stability, and justice reign.

When the righteous become great, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, people groan. Proverbs 29:2.

Sin makes you one that I cannot trust with responsibility in Kingdom matters. If you want to be one of those I can promote and trust with revelations, signs, wonders, and miracles to benefit and bless all you must be firm about taking dominion over sin and not letting it enter your vessel, i.e., your life in the body. And one way you can begin purifying your vessel, your inner man, today is to “avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness.” 2 Timothy 2:16.

Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:20-26.

I cannot fellowship with you in a meaningful manner when you are sinning for sin cannot dwell with Me, for there is no darkness in Me at all.

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.b“And do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you. And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

You must be careful with whom you join your life. It could make you a sinner or a saint. It could cut off your destiny. Jonathan knew his father was in the wrong and that Jonathan’s heart was with David, but he did not join with David. Instead, out of a misplaced loyalty to his father, who was sinning to My face, he stayed with him and fought with his father and followed his father’s orders. Consequently, he cut his life short, dying with his father in a battle they should have won, and cut off his line prematurely. He had dreamed to rule with David as his right-hand man but he lost what he could have had by sticking with a sinner out of family ties.

When I told Abraham to leave his relatives who were idol worshippers and follow Me he did with one exception. He kept Lot with him and that turned out to be a mistake for him and Lot.

Who you join your life with will determine whether you stay at a low level of spiritual development or move up to higher realms, but I cannot share My secrets with you or open My house and My Covenant to you when you are practicing sin any more than you can open your home to a thief and a robber and keep your household and goods safe. If you continue in sin, then I cannot trust you with great things.

When you sin it is a total lack of gratitude and a total disregard for your own good and that of others. Especially your descendants.

Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.” Exodus 34:6-7.

Let Me set you free to be the real you I made you to be. That is the only way you will really be happy and fulfilled and complete, when you are walking in righteousness and enjoying the pure life of freedom from sin, for sin has to do with fear and torment, hiding in the darkness where the demons lurk in the folds.

I love you. As He is pure, keep yourself pure. And you do that by My Word. I promised you I would remove your stony heart and give you a living heart and write My law in your heart and fill your heart with My Spirit so you could keep all My commandments and be just like Me. And you have that now that you have been born again in Jesus. Why would you want to behave like the old you when I have made you all new in Christ? Dare to live who you are and know you have a Helper. Live pure.

To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. Titus 1:15.
