I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. Psalm 91:2-3.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Cast your care upon Me because I care for you. Many quote that but not many do that. Why? They do not really trust Me to take care of it.

For thus the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh), the Holy One of Israel, has said, “In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing. Isaiah 30:15.

And you may be saying that you cast the care on Me and think you mean it, but if you keep worrying about the problem then you do not really believe I am taking care of it. You are still trying to work it out yourself. But you can do nothing truly fruitful without Me.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 14:4-5.

It is not just a matter of getting more faith, if you had faith, true faith, the size of a mustard seed you could move things around that are in your way by My Words in your heart and mouth, even infants and babies can rout the enemy with praise in their mouths, and I call that strength, but it is a matter of where you are putting your attention and where your trust is anchored. Is it in yourself, the world or is it in Me?

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28:7.

You see several keys to casting your care in this Psalm of David. He sings of Me that I am His strength and shield, and I was indeed, David was not even once injured a battle and he had a lot of them, but how did that come about? Look at the next few words, his heart trusted in Me. He believed in his heart and spoke with his mouth that I was his strength and shield and always helped him. And was he fearful about it? Not one bit, his heart exulted, leapt up with joy with an eye on victory And how did he express that? Songs of thanksgiving. And that was his lifestyle of casting his care on Me.

He told you the same key again in Psalm 34, “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. my soul will make its boast in the LORD; the humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Look to Him and you shall be radiant, and your face will never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. Psalm 34:1-7.

You are only willing to entrust your plans, your affairs, your business, your health, your finances, the building or repair of your home, indeed, your very life (such as in marriage), to one you think has the knowledge, skill, expertise, ability, honesty, integrity, and interest in your welfare above their own agenda to work on your behalf in their area of expertise. In other words, one who will act purely in your interests in the matter you are entrusting to their skill. This is why people look for a doctor, a lawyer, a publisher, a marketing firm, a contractor, a plumber, an electrician, a computer programmer or IT person, and a host of other arenas that has a good reputation, a successful track record and plenty of reliable credentials or the appropriate license.

Well, there is only One that knows all things, can do all things, made all things, has all the power, has all skill and can teach you all things, knows you better than you know yourself inside and out, knows all your needs before you even know them, is in every place, knows your thoughts, hears your every cry, and is on your side to fight your battles for you. And His Name is the LORD your healer, your provider, your shepherd, your helper, your righteousness, your sanctifier, your deliverer, your refuge, your fortress, your light, your salvation, your victory, your strength, and your song. He is the LORD of hosts, the angelic armies, for your defense and deliverance, and He is every place and any place you are to rescue you, heal you, and protect you.

And that One is no other but Me. There is no other God, and certainly no other that is pure undying Love. I AM your very own forever Father, who made you and loves you beyond love. Who gave you life, breath, and being and sustains you and carries you from the womb to the tomb and right on into eternity.

And I gave you My Son to save you from sin and unrighteousness, from the curse and from eternal death, and to bring you out of darkness into My own marvelous Light. I have you always on My mind and in My heart with plans for your total well-being (shalom) in every area of your life—spirit, soul, and body. Plans to give you good things and not evil, to give you an eternal future and a hope that is sure and anchored beyond the veil in the Holy of holies at My very throne of grace. And you can come to Me at any time and in any place and receive mercy and find grace (the divine answer) just when you need it.

When you know Me, you will not fear for I AM with you, and when I am with you no one and nothing can stand against you.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Romans 8:31-32.

I deliver the righteous.

The righteous cry, and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles . . . Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:17, 19.

And who are the righteous? Those who have been made righteous with My own righteousness by faith in My Son, for by His blood He has released you from your sins and made you holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me. You can call on Me with confidence of deliverance.

How do you put your trust in Me? How do you cast your cares on Me? How do you live absolutely care free? A life so precious and fruitful that you will love to live it. The new you that you are recreated in Christ to be. Forget the darkness and step into the light. Each day and each night is your opportunity to shine. How?  With the light of My Word and the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory.

First, let Me make it clear that casting your care on Me does not mean you do nothing while I work. Far from it. You have a very important part in the process. But it all starts with you refusal to worry or dwell on the problem once you have handed it over to Me. Start expecting a very good result and knowing it is yours. Speak it, exult in it, and sing it. And rebuke whatever is attacking you with the truth of My Word.

When Moses and the people of Israel put their trust in Me to deliver them out of the slavery of Egypt I did, but they had a very important part to play. It was simply to follow My directions without fear but with perfect trust. They did the sacrifice of the Passover Lamb just as I instructed and put the blood of the lamb over their homes as they ate the sacrificial meal for deliverance just as I told them to do. This saved them from the destroyer that executed justice on the Egyptians for the evil they had done to My people. They also went to their neighbors and received all the riches of Egypt as I had instructed them to do though it seemed utterly impossible. But they stepped out in faith and trust in My Words and found it just as I had told them. And they went out laden with silver and gold, fine materials, and objects of great value and not a feeble or sick one among them.

But even once they thought all was fine, to their horror, Pharoah changed his mind and decided to pursue them and capture them back for slavery or kill them. He had lost about two million slaves who were working for him to build things and take care of the fields at no cost. And worse yet, they had gone off with all the wealth of Egypt.

I want you to note here that this is the tactic of Satan with you as well, even when I have given you a great victory in any area, whether it be healing, finances, success in business, peace of mind, freedom from oppression, or any other good thing and miraculous work, he will come back and try to take you captive with the very same or a similar ailment, downturn, or oppression. Like Pharaoh, he does not give up easy what he thought he had and will go after you with all he has got in his tactics and with his demons that fell with him to take you captive a second time.

But do not ever return to slavery a second time. Be aware of what he is doing and do not think you lost your healing, your provision or your miracle. You have not. You just have to stand your ground and keep it. Answer him with My Word and never back down. The righteous shall live by faith and if you draw back I derive no pleasure for you give up all you have gained.

And the only way you can do that is by knowing and trusting in Me and doing what I tell you to do in order to keep what is already yours. And that is what casting your care on Me is all about. Never worrying, never backing down. No doubt, no unbelief, no worry, no fear—just know that I AM the LORD who sees ahead and provides. It is all prepared, you just need to let Me show you the way of deliverance.

And it could be staying right where you are without budging. It is the devil that has to flee when you resist him, not you. But when I tell you to go, GO! And that is what I told the Israelites—to stop crying, have no fear, and go forward. For I had a land flowing with milk and honey, filled with good things for them all prepared in advance ready for them to just take possession of by following Me with faith, by entrusting their lives to Me.

When the Egyptians began chasing the Israelites to take them captive a second time, I had the plan, that is, the battle strategy for the great deliverance, already prepared. And know that in your own life as well. Nothing is too hard for Me. And I look ahead to the solution before you even know you have a problem. You can count on that every time. Just remember when trouble strikes, you already have the solution if you just turn to Me. As David, sang he called out and I answered him and delivered him from ALL his fears.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10.

I know you and I have wonderful plans for you filled with good, for I desire that in all that concerns you that you prosper and be in good health. I take great delight in doing good to you. You are Mine, My own family, I made you just like Me. I know you and I love you. I made you unique, like no other. To no one else did I give your fingerprints, your voice, your DNA or the same color in the iris of their eye. Only you.

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my embryo; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:13-18.

You can trust Me to take your care because I care for you. I am your life. For you, to be near Me is your good. You have nothing without Me but everything with Me. Let Me be your everything.

I love you.

“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4.
