Hear, My son, and accept My sayings and the years of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:10-12.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

The path of life is the path of wisdom. It is an upright path.

“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret place of the steep pathway, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.” Song of Songs 2:14.

There is great wisdom in keeping My Word. My Word is wisdom for I am My Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1.

I made everything and I know everything intimately, but not only that, I see all time and eternity in one overall, overhead view and I share the things to come with you if you care to know My counsel. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you and share great and mighty things with you that you could not know. And all will marvel at your wisdom. Conversation with Me makes revelation for you.

I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation. Psalm 119:99.

Meditation on My Word puts you onto the path of wisdom. And wisdom is what you need to prosper and succeed.

This book of the law (torah) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.

I call My Word a law, the perfect law of liberty. Laws work the same for everyone. The law of gravity, the law of lift and thrust, the laws of physics and chemistry, the laws of the orbits of the planets, and various other “laws” that are termed as the “laws of nature,” such as the way seeds grow (the law of seed, time, and harvest), and the water cycle that causes rain to fall, etc., are laws that cannot be broken.

It is the same with My Word, it produces the promise in it and does not return to Me void without achieving the purpose for which I sent it. But it is like seed for the sower and bread for the eater, and there are certain laws by which My Word operates at the maximum power and speed of manifestation. I frame the world with My Words, in fact the entire universe and all there is. And My Words are forever. “Light be!” is still going forth in an ever-expanding universe with more stars than man or machine can count. But I have them all numbered and have called each by name.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our LORD and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:3-5.

First, creation is a vision within Me that as it births forth in My Word, breathed and performed by My Spirit, thus manifesting from the spiritual to the physical. And back again from the physical to the spiritual.

You see this in Jesus becoming flesh to dwell among you, dying as a seed in the ground to release the new creation of what is contained in that seed, the DNA, the plan for the frame, the structure, the ultimate product produced from that seed, and being raised up to a new creation from that seed planted in death to new life.

And Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:23-24.

And back up to Heaven

He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things. Ephesians 4:10.

He ascended. He descended from Heaven to die as a seed to become the full-blown plant, the first fruits from the dead. Resurrection power into a glorified immortal magnificent body in the Spirit.

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22.

Wisdom is the first thing you must get to have a good life of right choices and days of Heaven upon the earth. And who will teach you wisdom? My Word. He is your Teacher. In Him, My Word, are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. My Word is so living and working that My Word took flesh and dwelt among you, bled for you, and gave you eternal life. My Word is salvation in every situation. My Word created you. My Word redeemed you. And My Word recreated you. And now My Word is sanctifying you, but first of all it is giving you wisdom.

Wisdom is the principal (chief, first, firstfruits) thing; therefore acquire wisdom. And in all your acquiring, acquire understanding. Proverbs 4:7.

But just as with any seed, if you do not plant and cultivate it, it will never produce the wonderful fruit it contains. And in the spiritual realm the way you cultivate the seed of My Word is by meditating on it day and night until it becomes your own word. Meditating is like planting seed, cultivating the seed, harvesting the seed when it becomes the full-blown promise it contains, and then eating the fruit it produced. For death and life are in the power of your tongue and you will eat the fruit thereof.

And how do you eat My Word? By hearing it. For the ear tastes word as your palate tastes food. And speaking it and pondering on it is like chewing it. Chewing and chewing like the cud until it is ready to digest and become your own wisdom. For it is by My doing you are in Christ Jesus, and I have made Christ to be wisdom for you, and righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30.

Look again at what I told Joshua to have success in the conquest of the promised land.

This book of the law (torah) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate (hagah) on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.

And in Psalm 1 I tell you the same recipe for success, and there is a reason it is the first of the Psalms. There is a reason also that the parable of the seed and the sower denoting My Word planted in the soil of your heart was the first parable Jesus told. And He told his disciples if they did not understand that one, they would not understand any of His parables after that. Why? Life is all about My Word and how you receive it, guard it, grow it, and harvest it.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates (hagah) day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3.

But to understand what I mean by meditation you must understand the word from which that originates, that is, the word that you translate “meditation.” It is the Hebrew word “hagah (הָגָה),” which is a verb. It means to utter, speak, muse, imagine, roar, study.

Every verb in Hebrew has a noun formed of the same letters but with a different vowel sound. The noun for “hagah” is “hegeh,” and guess what it means today in Hebrew? A steering wheel as in a car. And the steering wheel takes the car in any direction the one driving it turns. And the tongue is like that in your life. As I tell you in the letter of My servant James by the inspiration of My Spirit, the tongue directs the course of your life. What you think upon and speak out is the most important force of where your life is going and what is manifesting in your life. Watch out for idle words, for these are not wise and planted they grow nothing fruitful that you or others would want to eat. They make bitter roots and bitter fruits and take your life in the wrong direction, they will drive you far from success.

“Hagah” includes hearing the Word, studying the Word, pondering the Word, speaking the Word, and speaking in inarticulate sounds, even groaning and moaning. Does that sound familiar to you? Praying in tongues and speaking and singing in the Spirit is also meditation.

Likewise the Spirit also helps (sunantilambanomai (συναντιλαμβάνομαι): to take hold with at the side, assist jointly to perform some task; to pull the helm together side by side) in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:26-28.

Speaking in the mutterings and groanings of the Spirit, which is speaking out mysteries in tongues for your edification, is meditation whereby the Spirit takes hold with you of the helm, which is your tongue, for the direction of your life. Meditate with My Spirit as your guide into My Word to find the treasures of the truth you need to direct your path along the way of wisdom.

Do not ignore so great a salvation, use My Words as seed, as tools, as a sharp two-edged sword to clear out all that would keep you from your destiny, from your prosperity, from your health, and from your high calling in Christ. And use My Words, that is, faith in My Words, as your resting place, as your abiding place, as your secret place, as the branch in the vine, and bear much fruit. And it will be the fruit of the very Spirit of Wisdom Himself, which is love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Never just sit around idle. Be meditating on My Word day and night so you too, like Joshua, can prosper and succeed in the task at hand.

You need wisdom, but the good news is that I have given you wisdom in Christ, who is My Word and your teacher. So let My Word teach you wisdom. How wisdom acts, what are the laws of wisdom, and how to acquire it. For wisdom operates with knowledge and understanding.

Please note also that “hagah” means to imagine. I imagine things before they become visible to you. What is seen is made out of what is not seen. Plans and great things, extraordinary accomplishments, inventions, and works come out of meditation on My Word.

It is time to begin walking in the way of wisdom on your path of life. Wisdom is simply knowing the right thing to do at just the right time. And remember, My Spirit tells you of the things to come and I am the LORD who looks ahead and provides.

I love you. I have opened for you the way of wisdom but whether you will take it is up to you. And you take it by meditating on My Word day and night.

My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Proverbs 4:20-22.
