Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

The path of life is the narrow way. The narrow way is staying on your objective—staying on course no matter how many distractions come up. It is acting only with divine direction.

Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27.

It is the way Jesus walked. He stayed strictly focused on My directive for His life and never veered off course. Consequently, He fulfilled the objective in exactly the amount of time I had allotted for it.

Just at that time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, “Go away, leave here, for Herod wants to kill You.” And He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I reach My goal.’ Nevertheless I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem. Luke 13:31-33.

My Will prospered in the hands of Jesus.

And the Will of the LORD will prosper in His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; by His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, as He will bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:10-11.

I could trust Him completely with a most amazing mission. Once He emptied Himself of His powers as God and came to take flesh as one of you, He never again did anything without My directive.

He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. John 14:9-10.

He knew how to pray and how to live pure of anything profane. He was able to contact My pure Word and Will by faith and thus always did what pleased Me.

So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” John 8:28-29.

And when you ask according to My Will, you KNOW that whatever you ask for is yours.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15.

Because Jesus never veered off My Will, His prayers were powerful and brought immediate results.

Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.” When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.” John 11:41-44.

Though the whole world needed Him, while He was physically among you, until He was crucified, was raised, ascended back to Me, and poured out the Holy Spirit, His mission was to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and He kept Himself focused on that alone. There were incidents where those outside the house came and reached into His mission by faith, like the Centurion and the Syrophoenician woman, but they initiated the contact and entered into the Covenant as Abraham had by faith. In fact, by great faith, and faith pleases Me for it connects with My power to save.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6.

Jesus was precise in His obedience. To be able to do that you must have heard from Me. Jesus was a man of prayer. He rose early to pray before the busy day began to get My direction for the day. And sometimes, before decisions that were pivotal in His ministry He would pray throughout the night. He knew how to wait on Me before He spoke or took action. Sometimes He would just look about but return the next day and take action. Like when He cleaned the money changers out of the Temple area.

Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31.

Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. Psalm 33:20.

In Psalm 23, the good Shepherd, before He leads you on righteous paths, takes you to rest in green pastures beside restful healing waters of peace and restores your soul. Before you can give you must receive. Before you act, you must hear, for faith comes by hearing and hearing My Word. You must drink until you overflow.

Faith is the narrow way, must people live by their feelings rather than by faith. Faith is being focused on Me and My promise in confident expectation. Faith is active but it is also receptive. Receptive to direction and correction to reach perfection.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

Active faith takes the initiative after hearing My Word, like the woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, she heard about Jesus and knew she would be healed if she just got to Him and touched the edge of His Garment (tallit). And she was so determined that she pushed through the pressing throng and got hold of His garment and was healed. Another example of such faith was the man his friends put down through the roof of Jesus’ house. Jesus remarked on the man’s great faith, which made him well. Neither one just stayed and home and wished Jesus would stop by and heal them. They got themselves where He was and were not disappointed.

And then there is the receptive kind of faith. When the Jesus elders came and told Jairus his daughter had died and not to bother Jesus, Jesus just gave Jairus one mandate. “Only believe.” He did not tell him to go wash in the pool of shalom or jump in the Jordan seven times, He just told him to keep on believing, even in the face of death. And Jairus did as Jesus directed and he saw his daughter raised from the dead. Believing is a powerful thing.

I tell you in Hebrews 11:11, that Sarah, in her old age, received the power to conceive though she had been barren all her adult life.

By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised. Therefore there was born even of one man, and him as good as dead at that, as many descendants as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. Hebrews 11:11-13.

Notice, from faith, there was born even of one man, and him as good as dead—do you see? Resurrection power is activated by faith. Pure faith. Only believe. Be fully persuaded that what I have promised I will perform. But look at that again:

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the seed, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you,” in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being the things which do not exist. Romans 4:16-17.

I am the one that gives life to the dead and calls those things into being that do not exist. I call them out of the spiritual into the physical. I give life to the dead. Resurrection power.

Do you remember what Jesus said to Martha at the tomb of her brother Lazarus? Jesus told her to roll away the stone and she did not see any purpose to do that as her brother had been dead for days and would be decomposing. And what did Jesus reply? Just like He did to Jairus because He had already heard from Me that this sickness was not to end in death but in My glory.

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40.

Only believe. No fear. Only believe and you will see resurrection power—life from the dead.

Believing, pure unwavering faith, turns the power switch on.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:16-20.

Believing, fully persuaded faith, releases amazing power.

Jesus only did what He heard and saw from Me. He did not output until He had input. The minute He had input from Me, He acted. Faith comes by hearing, and He believed when He heard. And I hear you when you pray according to My Will. So the conclusion is that if you want your prayers answered immediately, first receive what I am telling you and release that into the earth. The spirit of faith is that you believe in your heart and then speak with your mouth. Pray what you hear and see in Me.

Drink of the pure living water, clear as crystal, that comes from My throne through the hands of Jesus to you. It will purge and cleanse you of every opinion, thought, personal agenda (out of hate, bitterness, or selfish ambition), and emotion that lifts its head contrary to My Word. Wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:17-18.

I love you. Take the narrow way. It is the way of hearing and doing. It is the way of staying on your objective. What is your objective? Make sure it is one I gave you. Pray in tongues and all that is not of Me will be purged by the living water.

But above all the narrow path is the way of freedom. If you continue in My Word, your are truly My disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Truth is narrow in that it is clearly defined and does not change, it will always be there for you steady and unwavering to keep you on the straight and upward path.

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. James 1:21-22.
