Thus says the LORD, who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters. Isaiah 43:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Love makes a way where there is no way. And what is the Way? Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He has made a new and living way right to into the Holy of Holies. You can come to My throne of grace with confidence and complete freedom to receive all that you need and much more any moment of the day and night.
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22.
When Jesus walked the earth, wherever He went, no matter how tragic or hopeless it seemed, something wonderful would take place. A miracle. Blind eyes would see, deaf ears would ear, cripples would leap up and walk, lepers were cleansed, the dead were raised, sins were forgiven, and provisions appeared and multiplied. If you put your faith in Me and walk according to My Word, you will do the works He did and greater. Everywhere you go everything that is wrong should be put right. No matter how bad it seems you know how it will end if you are walking in the new and living way He opened for you. Yes, it will end in a miracle.
I have given you the Way where there was no way. For sinful man to approach your holy God was blocked as was the entrance to Eden when the man and woman were driven out by sin. But now Jesus bore your sins and took your ills and pains and gave you the way out of darkness and sin into light and righteousness. I have made a way for you where there was no way. Jesus your savior and Lord. He reopened to you the Garden of Eden, the abundant life of blessing without sorrowful toil, and full access to the tree of life and the fruit thereof. Yes, the Cross and His body and blood for a man to eat and never die.
So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.” John 6:53-58.
There is a lie of the devil that many surrender to and live as captives their entire lives on earth and it is this: “You are trapped in a hopeless situation and there is no way out.” But Jesus came to set the captives free and to be your hope. He is the Way.
If you only look at the flesh, that is, what you and others can do by your own power and intelligence, and at the circumstances you will easily believe that you have no way out. If you only have the temporal as your mindset there really is no hope in what looks impossible in the natural. But the good news is that with Me there are no limitations, all things are possible, and if you believe that I can deliver you out of anything and everything. And I am faithful, I will never allow you to be tempted beyond your strength, I will provide you a way of escape, a way out. I am the LORD your deliverer. And Jesus fulfills that Covenant Name and gives you the promise for sure.
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
I will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. I know you and I know your heart. If you are saying you just cannot take anymore, then you know something. You know that I am providing you a way of escape so that you will be able to endure it. But you need to reach out and take it.
If you are in a difficult situation right now and feel I have not provided you a way of escape reconsider and look back. You will see that I did give you an opportunity to escape, but that because of fear you did not take it but remained in the situation you are now bemoaning. Rather than take the way of escape many people keep themselves trapped right where they are.
I gave Lot a way of escape from facing destruction with Sodom, but he did not want to take it. But because Abraham had prayed for him, I forced him to take it. But it did not turn out well for him because he never embraced or appreciated the rescue. He kept longing to return to the darkness he had become accustomed too, though he bemoaned it.
Do not become accustomed to living in darkness. I want to bring you out into the light, into a wide and open space. However, even when you keep begging Me to deliver you from a place of sorrow, it takes courage to walk with Me to the light. But I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Receive it and run with the vision.
And it does not matter if you got yourself into what looks like a hopeless and impossible situation, turn to Me and I am able to deliver you out of them all. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions. And now, I want you to consider the life of Manasseh.
Manasseh was the son of My servant Hezekiah, but he was not like his father. He was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. He turned away from Me and did evil according to the abominations of the nations whom I dispossessed before the sons of Israel.
He rebuilt the high places and pagan altars which Hezekiah had broken down; he also erected altars for the Baals and made Asherim, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. He built altars to idols in My house, the temple Solomon had built according to the plans of his father, David. He made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery and dealt with mediums and spiritists. Thus Manasseh misled Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom I destroyed before the sons of Israel. 2 Chronicles 33:1-9.
I spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention. The commanders of the army of the king of Assyria came up against Jerusalem and My people had stepped out from under My protection to worship idols so I had no authority to protect them, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains and took him to Babylon. 2 Chronicles 33:10-11.
From a worldly viewpoint, it was all over for Manasseh. Imprisoned in Babylon bound with bronze chains and dethroned from his kingship by an enemy nation, there was no future for him. Nothing but a death sentence and a life filled with sin that separated him from My protection and favor. He was on his way to hell. But something wonderful happened. He repented and turned his heart to Me. And that was enough, just as in the parable My Son told of the prodigal son and the faithful father.
When he was in distress, he entreated Me as his Lord and God, and humbled himself greatly before Me with sincere repentance. He meant to change. When he prayed to Me, I was moved by his entreaty for I see your heart, and I heard his supplication, whenever you ask according to My Will I hear you, and I brought him again to Jerusalem to his kingdom. I took him right out of the deep dark prison, out of his chains, and put him back on his throne in Jerusalem. How did I do that? Nothing is too hard for Me. Remember when Peter was in prison? I sent an angel to let him out and none of the guards even saw him leave. And I kept all the gates locked but they swung open for Peter.
And what happened when Manasseh saw My goodness and lovingkindness to him? I tell you, “Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.” 2 Chronicles 33:13.
And when he was on his throne again, he tore down all the alters to the idols and cleaned out the pagan altars in My house.
He also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, as well as all the altars which he had built on the mountain of the house of the LORD and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside the city. He set up the altar of the LORD and sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it; and he ordered Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel. 2 Chronicles 33:15-16.
Nothing is too wonderful for Me. My servant Paul was often in impossible situations but I delivered him out of them all, but first and foremost I delivered him from persecuting the church and gave him salvation unto eternal life by revealing My Son to him.
Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! 2 Timothy 3:10-11.
Are you in a place of slavery and bondage? Either from your own fears and addictions or from the fears and oppression of others? It is time for you to lift up your eyes to see the open door. When Hagar was sent away with Ishmael by Sarah and Abraham, she thought she had no water and sat down to cry and die. I simply told her to lift up her eyes. She did, and she actually was only a few feet away from a bubbling spring, a well of water. I told her to go fill her flask and drink and give drink to her son and I would make of him a great nation. Genesis 21:9-21. And I did. I provided her a way out. And at first she did not see it, but then I opened her eyes. I cared for her and the boy all their lives.
And think of all the opportunities I have given people to repent and be saved. Some ran with them and some rejected them. Some people hate the darkness, but they never leave it. They always have some excuse for not taking the way I provide for them to escape, but they keep sitting in the dark and begging Me to deliver them. I have delivered you from the realm of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Refuse to stay in darkness any longer. My Son is the light of the world, and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness, no never, for he will have the light of life. Light for the life of men.
Why are you remaining as you are? The first thing you can do is put on the garment of praise instead of the spirit of depression and start singing loudly with joy. Your feelings do not matter here, they will quickly change when divinely directed. The next step is to cast the care on Me. The next step is to thank Me for rescuing you from the realm of darkness and transferring you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son and forgiving all your sins. The next step is to believe I have provided you a way of escape and that it is there for you. The next step is to lift up your eyes and be open to the way of escape. Ask Me to open your eyes that you may see. Blessed are the eyes that see! And blessed are your eyes for they do see, for many a prophet longed to see what you see but did not see. And I am speaking of Jesus.
David knew oppression and confusion. He knew the way to seek deliverance. You could join in his prayer inspired by the Holy Spirit in Psalm 43:2-4: “For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression? Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain, and to the place where You dwell. Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.”
And know I have answered you, as I did David. He sang that I had brought him out to a wide and open space, his wealthy place.
Pray Psalm 25, another Psalm of David, “To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I trust. Do not let me be ashamed. Do not let my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed. Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed. Make me know Your ways, O LORD. Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day. Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your lovingkindness remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in righteousness, and He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:1-15.
Wait for Me and I will draw you out of the pit and place your feet on a height and put a new song into your mouth, but don’t wait too long. I am not delaying. I have answered you, but do not reject My answer and stay sitting on the ashes begging for the beauty that is before your eyes. Take it. Be strong and courageous. My grace is sufficient for meeting every need and more on top of that.
I love you. There are none so blind as those who will not see. But I know that you will not be blind for I have opened your eyes. My Son came to give sight to the blind. Satan has blinded the eyes of so many so that they think they have no way out. But I have given you the Way. And He is with you always.
