How precious is Your love, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. Psalm 36:7-9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Within you, I have put My well spring of love and it will never run dry.
Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14.
With joy you will draw water at the springs of Salvation and as you go through the valley of tears you will make a spring of it.
How blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion! Passing through the valley of Baca [weeping, bewailing] they make it a spring; the early rain also covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength, every one of them appears before God in Zion. Psalm 84:5-7.
With Me is the fountain of life, the river of life flows from My throne in Heaven and everywhere it flows everything becomes fresh, new, and very fruitful.
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2.
I call it the river of delights. Psalm 36:8. And if you will follow your good Shepherd, He will lead you there. If you but knew My gift, you would ask Jesus for a drink and He will give you living water. I know how to give My children good and perfect gifts. If you ask Me, I will give you the Holy Spirit without measure, as much as you can hold.
For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. John 3:34.
And the more Word you have in you the more room you have in your heart to receive My Spirit. And you will have joy unspeakable filled with glory in an ever-gushing source, the fountainhead of life.
They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:16-17.
Life is a gift I give to you in love. All life comes from Me and is sustained by Me. If you truly want life, you must come to Me. And you will find that the light of life is love. It is the sweet fragrance and substance of Heaven. And when you take Jesus as Lord and My Spirit comes to dwell in your born-again living spirit, I pour love, liquid love, into your heart to flow through every part of you through and through.
When you join with Me, you become one spirit with Me. 1 Corinthians 6:17. When you take My Son as your Lord and are born again I take out your stony heart (your dead hardened spirit) and place in you a living heart (a living tender spirit) and I put My Spirit in your heart. Ezekiel 36:25-28.
Adam drove My Spirit out of his heart and Adam’s spirit died to Me for it is My Spirit that gives life to your mortal bodies, and in Adam you all died to Me, but in times past I promised you through My prophets that My Spirit would again come to dwell in your heart so that you could know Me and rest in Me in blessed assurance of eternal life. But I could not send Him back to you until Jesus came to you as My gift—until He suffered, died, and rose again so that in Him you are born again with a living spirit.
Once Christ cleansed you of your sin and broke down the barrier that separated us erected by sin, I was again able to join My Spirit with your spirit. In Christ, you are alive to Me and dead to sin.
My Son revealed this to the Samaritan woman by the well of Jacob. He asked her for a drink to open the dialogue. It surprised her that He asked her for a drink, being a Jew and she a Samaritan, and she questioned him about it. He then revealed a truth to her that people still do not understand. He told her that if she but knew My gift to her in Jesus she would have asked Him for a drink. And what would He have given her? What He gives everyone of you when you come to Him thirsting for more in your life, when you are dry, barren, and feel lost in darkness—when you are without eternal life. He gives you life-giving water and whoever drinks of this water will never thirst again because the water that He gives you becomes a well of water in you springing up to eternal life. John 4:10-14.
And this well will last forever. It is your very own. Even in the present world, you can own a well, but you cannot own a river. A river is public domain and benefits all. What My Son spoke of to the Samaritan woman was the new birth. It is how you are saved. One drink of this life-giving water is enough to save you forever as a new creation in Christ.
But My Son promised you more than the well that springs up from you to Me in a personal and intimate relationship between us that is ours alone as a garden enclosed– our own secret place.
He promised you rivers flowing out of you to benefit all the world.
He foretold this to you on the greatest day of the feast of tabernacles, the most joyous day of a most joyous feast. On that day, the priest went to the Pool of Siloam (this is the Pool to which My Son later sent the man born blind to wash the mud off his eyes so that he could see) and drew out water from the Pool and brought it back to the temple amid joyful songs to pour it out before Me in the temple as a libation offering. And as they sang Isaiah 12: “With joy you will draw water from the springs of Salvation (Yeshuah)!” Yeshuah (Jesus), My Son, stood up and cried out: “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture says, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:37-39.
And I am still asking everyone who thirsts to come to the living water. Revelation 22:17.
Notice that it is the glorifying of Jesus that brings down the Spirit. This is the key. If you want to be filled with My Spirit, glorify Jesus in every area of your life– spirit, soul and body!
On the occasion of that feast, My Son did not tell you of your own well within you leaping up to Me, refreshing and blessing you—quenching your thirst and deepest inner longing—but of rivers (plural) of living water flowing out of you.
The devil and his demons search for dry places to inhabit, Matthew 12:43, they cannot stay in places flowing with living water. Remember when My Son sent the demons into the pigs? To get away from the demons the pigs jumped in the water. You are much smarter than pigs so learn a lesson from this. Run to the rivers of living water—get filled with the Holy Spirit—and not only will you be freed from oppression and darkness, but it will flow out of you to heal all who are oppressed by the devil. Acts 10:38. With Me is the fountain of light and in My light you see light. In Jesus is life, and the life is the Light of men. John 1:4.
And rivers flow to benefit all, not just you as your personal well does. And why is it “rivers” and not just a “river” that flows out of you? Look at the gifts of the Holy Spirit as set forth in the first letter to the Corinthians. There are nine gifts of the Spirit; and why are they given to each one of you? I tell you: “But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the benefit of all.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. Healing, miracles, words of wisdom and knowledge, prophecy, discernment of spirits, faith, tongues, and interpretation of tongues, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10,– these rivers flow out of you as do those of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to the benefit of all, including, but not limited to, you. Galatians 5:22-23.
And when you take Jesus as your Lord and receive My Spirit you become a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19.
The Old Testament is a shadow of the good things to come but the reality is Jesus. Colossians 2:17; Hebrews 10:1. You see the form in the Old Covenant but in the New Covenant you see the reality in Christ. When you see Jesus as He is, the veil that covers the Law and prophets is removed and you see Me as I am. You enter the holy of holies and hear My voice.
Do you want to see the shadow in the Old Covenant that fell from what My Son explained to you on that last and greatest day of the Feast of Tabernacles as the libation of water was poured out in My temple before Me? Then go to the Book of My prophet Ezekiel and read about the river flowing from My temple. And remember that today it is not only the Temple in Jerusalem where I dwell with you as in the Law, now you are the temple where My glory dwells in the Spirit, so what pertains to the Temple in the Old Covenant now pertains to you.
This is the account of Ezekiel of what I showed him so long ago that is now realized in you who are in Christ:
“The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?” Then he led me back to the bank of the river. When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds —like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekiel 47:1-12.
And this is how the rivers of living water will flow out from you who believe in My Son and have been born again by water and the Spirit. What begins as a small trickle as you glorify Jesus in your life will became a mighty river flowing from the sanctuary of your heart as My temple, out to the world to give life to the dead, to bear fruit, to heal, and to bring all to the knowledge of My gift to you of Jesus!
Have you even put your feet in the river? This wonderful river flows from My temple (in Revelation you see the River of Life flowing from My Throne, Revelation 22:1-3) and you can be in it ankle-deep, knee-deep, waist-deep, or finally when you cannot reach the bottom anymore the current of that river will take over. Ezekiel 47:3-5. Then you can only swim. Ezekiel 47:5. And, when you get that deep into the river, the current carries you and My Spirit will flow you to your assignment. And that river empties into the sea where it makes the salt waters fresh. Ezekiel 47:8. It makes dead things alive.
And standing along that river are fishermen, spreading their nets because where that river flows there are numerous fish to catch. Ezekiel 47:10. Fishers of men.
And the river gives life to fruit trees of every kind, whose leaves do not fade or their fruit fail—the fruit of the Holy Spirit which serves as food and medicine for all people. Ezekiel 47:12-13. And you know the fruit of the Holy Spirit– it is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23.
And today the river is flowing out to all the world. Get in the flow. As I foretold to My prophet Joel, in the later days I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, the young and the old, boys and girls, men and women. Joel 2:28.
The River is flowing into your heart. Many are only going ankle deep to keep the ground under their feet and to avoid the pull of the River’s current. But they will end up in the marshes on the side that I describe in the Book of Ezekiel, marshes and swamps that are not made fresh, they are left for salt. Ezekiel 47:11. Do not let your life be wasted in the swamp to dry up on the sides of the River. A wasted salt and empty barren ground.
But the River is My Voice.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD is over many waters. Psalm 29:3.
My assignment for you. For I want all men to be saved and to come to know the truth. May I ask you, where are you in your assignment? Have you stepped into the River at all? Are you ankle deep? Knee deep? Waist deep? Or are you swimming with the current to wherever it flows? Streams of living water are available. Come, you who are thirsty and drink. It is free to come but it may cost you your own plans for Mine. But you will find when you come into the current you are propelled to your true destiny—a life of miracles, signs, wonders, the gifts of the Spirit, finances, provision, and supernatural harvest—souls who will thank you forever for stepping into the deep! It is really the true you that you will find as the current carries you, as you are led by the Holy Spirit in your assignment. And it really is much easier to swim or sail than to wade through water or to get stuck in a swamp. And it is even harder to kick against the goad and fight the current to go another direction.
My River is flowing, it is pulling at you. Do you feel its current in your heart?
Let My rivers of living water flow from you to higher and higher levels to refresh, bless, and give life and healing to all whom you come in contact with, and then to flow out to everyone in the world. It is the Blessing of Abraham—I bless you to make you a blessing so that everyone in all the world will be blessed by you. Genesis 12:2-3.
My promise has come. Receive My Holy Spirit and be filled to overflowing by glorifying Jesus in your life. Ephesians 5:18-20. I have told you who believe that you are to do the works Jesus did and greater.
Your inner well spring and the rivers of living water of which your well will overflow when you have connected with Me and received the fullness of the Spirit lead you forward to the greater works. If you will notice the Book of Acts has no ending. Paul is still imprisoned in Rome proclaiming My Kingdom and teaching about My Son Jesus but there is no conclusion. This is not a mistake. The Book is still being written, and will be until My Son returns. And it is your lives and what you are doing for My Kingdom that are the new chapters in My Book.
Let your life give Me something to write about.
I have called you all to come to Me and partner with Me in bringing My Kingdom to the earth, in getting the Good News to every person, to every nation. Have you responded to My call? It is not complicated and you can begin today, right now, right where you are.
I have given you a Guide to lead you in your assignment. And that Guide is the Holy Spirit.
Yes, the rivers of living water flowing from within whoever believes in Him. John 7: 38. And that river is the Holy Spirit. John 7:39. And the destination of the river is the harvest, the harvest of souls, the sea of humanity. Ezekiel 47:8-10. And you are fishers of men.
Recall, when the Holy Spirit fell upon the believers on that first Pentecost Sunday what He did. He drove them out of hiding to witness to the nations. The River was flowing down from My Throne back to earth and its destination was the sea of humanity (rivers flow to the sea). And it brought in supernatural harvest that first day—3,000 who heard the Word that day were baptized and received Jesus as their Savior.
And My Will is for that river to flow into every believer and that you would sail on it to your assignment, which is the harvest of souls, that every person and nation may have the opportunity to hear the Good News of the Kingdom. This includes your next-door neighbors, your co-workers, your family, your relatives, your friends, the people of your city, the people of your state, the people of your nation, and the people of all the nations of the world.
I love you. And I pour My love into your heart by the Spirit that I give you, and I never stop pouring more and more in as you will open your heart wider and wider to receive. I give the Spirit without measure, as much as you can hold. So enlarge your tent for grace upon grace! Come to the waters!
“Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters!” Isaiah 55:1.
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.” Revelation 21:5-6.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17.
