Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:2-3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Love lives a divine life.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7.
Imitate Me as My dear children and walk in love, it will make your life fragrant and joyful. It will make your life divine. And that is why My Will for you in Christ Jesus is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and to give constant thanks. These are your part to imitate what I do with My part. It makes your life divine.
Let us start with “rejoice always,” and I direct you to rejoice in Me in many Scriptures. I never worry for I have all in My hand and nothing is a surprise to Me. I know the end from the beginning. I have all provision and all solutions. I made everything, sustain everything, and know how everything works individually and as a whole. I have joy and I share that joy with you. I rejoice over you with singing. Rejoice with Me! Come share My joy.
“The LORD your God is in your midst, a warrior who save. He will exult over you with joy, He will renew you in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts and songs of joy.” Zephaniah 3:17.
Do not worry, fret, be fearful, or anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to Me. And My peace, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus gave you His peace and His joy, all you have to do is take those and do not let any other thoughts remain in your mind. Answer them by telling them you have My joy and peace and the thoughts of worry, depression, fear, anxiety and doubt are not yours and cannot stay in you. Speak to them and cast those unclean spirits out before they take strongholds in your mind and emotions. And then replace them by the following:
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9.
You should not let your mind wander uncontrolled. I have given you instructions here of what to think on to have peace and joy. You have to be aware of where you are permitting your thoughts to wander because the devil will take advantage of you in that case. I do not want you to be unaware of his tactics. Thoughts that do not line up with My Word are not from Me so stop entertaining them and certainly do not employ them to run your inner business of the heart.
I warned Cain about this but he would not listen to Me, like his father and mother, he listened to the devil instead and it destroyed his brother’s life and his own as well.
Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” Genesis 4:6-8.
And in imitating Me as My dear children and walking with Me in love, we come next to your part of praying without ceasing. That includes casting all cares and anxieties on Me and once you have set them all before Me with confidence not worrying about them any further but watching in love to see the results and keeping yourself ready to do whatever I tell you to do about the situation that is causing you distress.
And that is what constant communication with Me is about, it is about leaning on My wisdom and understanding and not just your own or that of the worldly minded.
And just as I tell you to pray without ceasing, which means keep up constant communication with Me about everything in your life, I also keep do the same with you. I am always speaking if you will but listen.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks; He summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Psalm 50:1.
And I am speaking shalom peace to My people, to My godly ones.
I will hear what God the LORD will say; for He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Psalm 85:8-9.
My Words are life to those who find them and health to all your flesh. The more you hear and speak My Words the stronger and happier you will be. Pray without ceasing and you will not sin against Me or be pulled away from your source, which I AM. A husband and wife who work together and converse with each other throughout the day have no opportunity to commit adultery.
David loved to stay close by Me and hear from Me and I from him. But one day he stopped communicating with Me and let his eyes and mind wander and the devil took him down that day by lust and the weakness of the flesh. You must keep your mind above in the spirit to always win over the world, the flesh, and the devil. My Words are Spirit and life and they are a strong shield about you and a helmet for your mind. Keep them in your heart and you will not sin. Think about that. Selah.
Next in imitating Me as My dear children by walking with Me in love, is the rendering of constant thanks. This is the lifestyle of a grateful heart. And this imitates Me as well, for I am grateful for those who are faithful to Me. In gratitude for your willingness to give to the work of the ministry and the spread of the good news of salvation, I supply for all your needs in accordance with My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And when you are a tither and give offerings to the upkeep and work of My house I open the windows of Heaven for you and pour out a blessing you cannot contain. And when I find you busy about My affairs, investing the talents and skills I have entrusted you with for the furtherance of My Kingdom on earth, I reward and promote you and invite you to come and share My joy with Me.
I am so filled with thanksgiving for you who love Me, that I make sure everything works together for your good no matter what the devil throws your way, and I tell you that I keep a book of remembrance of what you who love Me and honor My Name do and will read it out and reward you before the wicked on the Last Day as welcome you into My Kingdom.
Then those who honored and revered the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own precious possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3:16-18.
Do you keep a journal, tablet, or some kind of memorial book of the blessings and honor and I bestow on you? Of prayers and desires of your heart I have answered? Of miracles you have prayed for and seen come to pass? That is a way of expressing constant thanks. A book of remembrance written on the tablet of your heart. Daivd had one and when things did not look good, like at Ziklag initially when the Amalekites had raided it, he looked into his heart and encouraged himself with it. He brought to mind with gratitude all the many times I had rescued him and worked wonders for him so he knew I would do so again.
I will go about Your altar, O LORD, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and declare all Your wonders. Psalm 26:6-7.
The voice of thanksgiving works wonders. Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah used it and it caused three enemy armies to go down immediately. Paul and Silas used it in a dark prison cell chained and bound and they and all the prisoners were set free.
Thanksgiving is much more effective to do its work if you sing it with joy, and here we are back to rejoicing.
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, with the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, with resounding music upon the lyre. For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands. Psalm 92:1-4.
And the result of those daily songs of praise welling up in your heart?
Planted in the house of the LORD they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to show forth that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:13-15.
It plants you in My house where you flourish even in old age for your youth is renewed and you are full of vigor. Just like Moses at one hundred and twenty years old.
What then do you see in these three? Your thoughts, words and actions under perfect order and joined with Me in love. For you are thinking about the things I think upon, Philippians 2:8-9, and with no anxiety or bitterness you are rejoicing! So making your thoughts like My thoughts by going up higher where Christ is seated at My right hand, your thoughts become a joy, a comfort, and an encouragement to you, not torturing tormenters that are ruining your life.
Your words make a huge difference. You have what you say but also you should put your words to work for you to cast out demons and the like.
My Word cleanses you and gives you life and light. Jesus is called the High Priest of your confession (homologia, i.e., speaking in complete agreement with His Words). Do not mix the profane with the holy. Do not speak idle words, these will be judged and you must account for every idle word you speak. Praying without ceasing, that is, making your conversation in Heaven keeps you from idle words.
And finally, to get the results that are best and that you want you must not only be a hearer of the Word but also a doer. And that is where thanksgiving comes in—doing your work and all you do unto Me. Not just lip service but real service in your actions that benefit others and also Me. For whatever you do for the least of your brethren you do for Me.
Never forget any of My benefits but take hold of them all. And that is gratitude. It blesses Me and My Son for it cost us much to give them to you.
There is only one thing necessary to have all things and have your welcome into My Kingdom assured and that is a relationship with Me that comes to you through My Son who reconciles and joins us together in perfect oneness. To know Me and Him in My Spirit is eternal life.
Your close relationship with Me is built upon rejoicing, constant communication (prayer), and thanksgiving as the motive of your service to Me, because thanksgiving is love. Rejoicing in all because you have the solution you need to come out healed, whole, and blessed is faith, praying without ceasing is hope for things not yet seen, and thanksgiving is love, for you can only be truly thankful and committed to someone you love. You are not thankful for people who are evil or hate.
Adam had the one thing necessary that makes everything in your life function and work together for success in his relationship with Me, but he broke that and everything fell apart in his life. When you throw aside the one thing necessary, the foundation of your life is gone and all will collapse and the fall will be great. He became like the barren bush in the desert that does not see good when it comes.
But when you make the connection with Me and put your roots deep into My love as manifested in Jesus, you tap into the living waters, the inner wellspring leaping up to eternal life, and you have tapped in so that you are like a tree planted near a continuous spring of water that leaves never wither and that bears fruit, much fruit, in due season.
To succeed in every area of your life you must tap into your source and there you will find all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Just draw them up.
What is your part in imitating Me and having the sweet life of love? Rejoice always, which has to do with your thoughts and is faith, pray, which has to do with your words and your attention to Me and My Words, which is hope, and in everything give thanks, which will compel your actions and how excellently you do things, which is love. Love acts. Love serves. Love gives.
I love you. Imitate Me and live the divine life of love. It produces much fruit.
