“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, and the humble person He will save.” Job 22:28.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Love controls the tongue. If you want a perfect life, there is only one way you will have it. You must control your words.
For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in the words he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. James 3:2.
Contrary to what many people think, your words matter. They are directing your life.
With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; he will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power (hand) of the tongue, and those who love to talk will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:20-21.
There is nothing more important to watch about yourself in your day than YOUR words, which, of course, come from your thoughts, so it is important to monitor your thoughts and guard your heart, but thoughts and observations will enter your mind from what you are seeing and hearing but that does not mean you have to witness with your own mouth what has entered your head. Do not agree with thoughts contrary to My Word.
We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5.
Watch your words. How do you do that? Whatever you do in WORD or deed do it unto Me and not unto men. Run your conversations by Heaven first and remember that you are binding and loosing things with what you say. Also remember this because Jesus warned you about this and you must take very seriously what your Teacher tells you for when Jesus speaks it is My Words of eternal life:
“I tell you that every idle word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For in accordance with your words you will be justified, and in accordance with your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37.
This is serious. And how are your words judged? Even believers, though they are saved and are not subject to judgment at the great white throne, they do face the judgment seat of Christ whereby you are rewarded for your deeds done in the body and there is a standard used there:
If anyone hears My Words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words, has one who judges him; the Word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. John 12:47-48.
What can you do then? Take authority over your words and your thoughts with the help of My grace and pay attention to My Word as the source and backup for your words. Learn from Jesus. Answer the thoughts the devil puts in your head with the truth of My Word (“It is written”), speak to things that get in your way, such as storms, fevers, unproductive trees, and any lofty thing that rises up blocking your path of life.
I want to teach you today in the spiritual realm what you had to learn in a worldly way as an infant to be efficient in the physical world. But if you learn this and become effective and efficient in the spiritual realm, you will find the spiritual also moves the physical. The flesh is useless for victory. My Words are Spirit and life. The prayer of a righteous man is effective, sharper than a two edged sword making mountains move and trees be plucked up by the roots.
But your words will not be effective as they should if your words are sharing two sources, that is, My Word and the devil’s word. You cannot be effective if you are serving two masters. If your words seem to fall flat to the ground and no mountains are moving, it is time to learn why.
Let us begin with the first instructions for you who are infants in My Word. For some of you though you should be using My Words effectively and should be teaching others still need to be taught the basics and are not even close to doing those.
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:12-14.
I am patient and slow to anger and of great kindness, but if you are like the unfruitful fig tree clogging up the ground, then you know what happened to that. And that was the problem with the fig tree My Son spoke to that withered up from the roots. It had the semblance of fruit, for it was covered with leaves, but there was no fruit on it. It knew how to do the talk to keep up the façade but there was nothing to back it up. Unfruitful clutters up the ground.
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the LORD endures forever.” And this is the Word that was preached to you. Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave the pure spiritual milk of the Word, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 1:23-2:3.
And here is something you may not even notice you are doing but it is time for you to grow up spiritually and stop it. I am talking about your talking about others in a negative way, showing them up in a bad light to others and spreading dissension and strife between others—I am talking about at your workplace, your church, your home, your school, and anywhere and everywhere you begin to speak ill of others actions and character. You may not call it gossip and backbiting but it is. Rid yourself of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of EVERY kind. You may not even notice but all that complaining you are doing as you reveal things about others that you are saying in a negative way (showing your superior goodness)—about your superiors at work, about your teachers, about your parents, about your co-workers, about your fellow students, about your clients, about your children, about the judge, about your siblings, about your spouse, and even about the representative for the company that you are speaking to on the phone are hindering your walk with Me in higher realms.
Paul experienced this kind of behavior among the members of the church in Corinth and he was not lenient about it. Why? He knew how dangerous it was once Satan got his foot in the door and started dividing the members of the church against each other. This would make them a church without power against the enemy.
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men? 1 Corinthians 3:1-4.
Paul would not even talk badly about the Pharisees or the High Priest and other priests who were trying to kill him that had once been his friends. He respected their office and position of anointing. Like David, who refused to speak ill of or kill Saul though Saul was seeking diligently and unjustly to take David’s life, because Saul was anointed as king and he respected the office. He waited for me to remove Saul, which when Saul went too far, I could justly do. He was abusing his position, even consulting mediums and witchcraft, and using the armies of Israel to chase David whom I had anointed king.
When you talk about each other with malice or gossip and judge others pointing out flaws and faults this lessens your ability to receive from Me, it clogs up your faith pipeline so to speak, and disqualifies you from promotion in Kingdom assignments. It also makes your prayers ineffective. Remember in counseling husbands and wives about respecting on another what Peter wrote to the husbands? You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7.
Dissension hinders prayer.
But it is not just dissension, it is being a busybody about other’s affairs or ways and spreading derogatory information abroad. Do not be someone who causes strife.
There are six things which the LORD hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, a false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers. Proverbs 6:16-19.
Watch out for all these “little foxes” that gnaw away at your branch to detach you from the vine. You want your connection to be open so the Spirit can flow into you unhindered.
All ingress and egress into and from your life comes by your words. You words throughout the door ate setting the tone of your life, they are bringing things in and sending things out. And I will hold you accountable for your words because they are extremely important into whether My Kingdom can reach into the earth and plant or not.
For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea and its waves roar (the LORD of hosts is His name). I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to plant the heavens, to establish the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:15-16.
If you let My Word dwell in you richly and speak out of that abundance into the earth, you life and the lives of those you speak into will begin coming up higher and higher, taking Kingdom territory and creating the atmosphere of Heaven upon the earth, but if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. Galatians 5:15.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:16-17.
And there is the key to Me teaching you to talk. Use My Words, keep them stored in your heart, for the mouth speaks from the heart’s abundance, and not only speak them to one another but sing together with thankful hearts. Do all in the Name of Jesus, giving thanks for so great a salvation through Him who paid all your debts and set you free.
When the prodigal son returned home the Father gave a thanksgiving celebration party for him, make a beautiful thanksgiving celebration for Me with your fellow members of the Body of Christ and continue the party in your life all week! I am singing and rejoicing over you and calling you to the marriage feast of My Son, you must as well invite Me in to your banquet as well. You have received the precious gift of salvation in Jesus, there is no way you could ever pay for salvation, you did not have an eternal life to give for the one Adam lost for he locked you all in the sentence of death of the perishable seed of lies, but I have given it to you freely in Christ Jesus your Lord just because you believed in My wonderful grace and goodness and received Jesus as Lord by faith. It cost Him so much, but He did it for the love of you with joy. You are beloved, forgiven, blessed, and favored, and that is the story of your life. And that is how you should talk.
Watch out for idle useless words for they work evil not good.
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:29-32.
My Words are not idle words but are your very life. That should tell you to line up your words with Mine. I think, speak, and walk in love. Anything that is contrary to My Words is an idle word. Spit it out of your mouth.
Do not judge and you will not be judged. The measure you use is measured back to you. Be careful. If you want mercy, give mercy. Why notice the speck in your brother’s eye while you miss the plank in your own? Your business is to follow Me, not hinder Me. For when you hinder Me, you hinder your blessing.
You cannot live a life in the Spirit if you do not control your tongue.
If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not control his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless. James 1:26.
If you control your tongue, you can control your entire body—even the health of all your organs. James 3:2. An uncontrolled tongue can defile your entire body and sets on the fire the course of your life, your very existence. It is set by the fire of hell if you use it to vent about your fellow man.
Train you tongue by growing on the milk of My Word, and then the meat of My Word, and finally the honey of My Word. And that is the thirty, sixty, and hundredfold return of the good, pleasing and perfect doing of My Will. The man who controls his tongue is a perfect man. Be perfect as I, your heavenly Father, is perfect. When I speak it is to do a work—a perfect work.
You will have what you say.
“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, and the humble person He will save.” Job 22:28.
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.” Mark 11:22-26.
Here you see how to talk and how to pray. First you have faith in Me. And faith comes by hearing My Word, My anointed Word. So you find the Scripture that addresses your issue and you speak that answer to whatever has attacked you or is in your way for completing your heavenly assignment the mountain and take it down. You do not speak to others about the mountain or the disease or whatever has attacked you, you do not beg Me or someone else to move it, you speak to it. You speak to evil things and take them down. Cast them out. And then cast all your care on Me in prayer to restore everything that was stolen from you or that harmed your body. And then thank Me with songs, hymns, and Spirit songs as you watch My promise come to pass. And there is one more step if you want the result—forgive anyone you have something against. Otherwise I cannot deliver through your blessing, unforgiveness closes the door to your heart so hard I cannot get in to bless you and heal you. And the measure and standard of judgment you use on others I must use on you. That is a spiritual law that cannot be altered.
I also tell you that if you had faith the size of a mustard seed you could speak to trees to be uprooted and cast in the sea and they would obey.
Why did I pick mountains and trees? To build an edifice and to make a roadway you have to level the ground and remove the trees down to the root. Jesus told you that every tree that I did not plant must by pulled up and uprooted out of your life. These are your thoughts and words, they created tree-like dendrite structures in your brain. Every one I did not plant but idle evil words planted must be pulled out. Speak to them. All that is unfruitful must be pulled out at the root as well.
You will note that Jesus did not get a hatchet to cut the tree down. He simply spoke to it. Selah.
And why mountains? Do you remember John the Baptist:
A voice of one calling out, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley; then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 40:3-5; John 1:23.
Make ready My Way, be the John the Baptist of the second coming of My Son. Move the mountains. Stop the petty gossiping and join together to move the mountains. Where two are three are gathered together in My Name I am there in the midst and I watch over My Word to perform it. When two or three agree with Me things will move.
“Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:26-29.
I love you. It is time you stepped up to a new level of fruitfulness. Leave behind your idols and walk in My marvelous light.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:11-13.
