Behold, God is my helper; the LORD is the sustainer of my soul. Psalm 54:4.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The sanctified life is a secure life because you know you are never performing on your own. You have a Helper.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2.

Eternal life is to know Me and the One I sent, Jesus Christ.  John 17:3. Do you know Me?  Do you know My Son?

You can never know Me without knowing Jesus.  And you can never know Him without knowing My Word.

And if you read My Word you will find out something wonderful.  I am ever present as your Helper.  Not as your Judge.  Not as your taskmaster.  Not as your demanding boss, but as your Helper.  I am always at your side.  That is what Paraclete means.  It is a Greek word meaning one who is close by your side at your call, in other words, your helper, your advocate, your comforter, your counselor, and your legal advocate. And He is My Holy Spirit.  And I have poured Him into your heart through the hands of My Son and He is with you and in you always.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  We are with you always.

You are never alone.  You have a Helper with Whom nothing is impossible and nothing is too hard.

I provide for all your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  Many people quote this verse for finances, but I did not limit it to finances.  I said ALL your needs.  And that means ALL.

Do you call on Me to help you?  Do you ask Me to deliver you?  Or do you think I am displeased with you when you get yourself into a bind and will not help you?  If so, you are very wrong.  I am not just watching you perform.  I want to give you the grace, strength, wisdom, and understanding to do everything you need to do and more.  Like I did for Bezalel and Oholiab.  And that was only with My Holy Spirit on them and not in them.  You can be given so much more.  Have you received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness? Or do you never even call upon grace in time of need? Have you forgotten to come to My throne of grace and cast all your cares on Me?  I care for you, you know.  Never forget that.  I gave My Son to die for you so we could be reconciled.  Will I not give you everything in Him?  In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  Draw all you need from Him.  Put your roots in Him.  Make Him the center of your life and you will have great peace.  Unshakeable peace.

Let Me show you a Psalm of deliverance that you might be in need of.  Let Me encourage you.  For I know how to speak to the weary a Word that will rouse them.

If you are in a situation that you feel stuck in and that you are unhappy in, why not ask Me to deliver you?  I never allow you to be tried beyond your strength and I always offer you a solution.  I will help you, deliver you and carry you like a lamb in My bosom.  You can rest on My heart.  Come to Jesus if you are weary and find life burdensome.  He is the One I have given you for restoration and refreshment.

Now let Me give you your Word, which is Psalm 31.  But to really get all the comfort and nourishment you need from this Word you need to look at it in the language I first spoke it to David’s heart—Hebrew.  My language.  A language filled with pictures, meanings and numbers.  A language like no other.

Psalm 31 begins with “In You, O LORD, I take refuge; let me never be ashamed; in Your righteousness deliver me.  Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; be to me a rock of strength, a stronghold to save me.”  If you are in need of deliverance, then say this prayer to Me now.  And I will hear and I will deliver you.  After all, My Son is preparing a place for you and that is not just in Heaven.  It is your place of grace, your Promised Land, your wide and open place on earth.  So do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid, have faith in My Word.  I send it to heal and deliver you.  And I sent you that Word made flesh in Jesus.  He came to set you free with outstretched arm.  Just as He did for the Israelites when I delivered them from slavery in Egypt to give them a land flowing with milk and honey.  I will do much more for you who are in My Son.

Now continue on with the Psalm and make it your own.  My Word is sent for YOU.  So continue with David:  “For You are my rock and my fortress; for Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me.  You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, for You are my strength.  Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.”  You will recall that Jesus even prayed this Psalm on the Cross.  He committed His Spirit into My hands.  And I raised Him from the dead.  When you commit everything to Me not even death can hold you in a tight spot.  I can pull you out of any place that binds and hems you in.  I deliver you from the pit, surround you with love and compassion and fill your days with good things.  Have you never read Psalm 103?  You really should as it is for YOU.

And I am your rock and your fortress. I do protect you if you will come under My wings.  How My Son wept for Jerusalem when its people would not come under My wings and Rome came and devastated their city and their nation!  It would have been so easy to avoid that.  But they would not.  They chose Caesar as their king. John 19:15.

But if you just call on My Name you will be saved.  Romans 10:13.  And the only Name I have given you by which you are saved is JESUS. Acts 4:12.  Yeshuah.  Salvation.  Deliverance. Blessing. Eternal life.

And to all those who have received Jesus He gives authority to be My children.  And My children are led by My Holy Spirit.  He guides you to all truth, teaches you all things, and tells you of the things to come.  He shares My thoughts with you.  You have nothing to fear.  With Me as your Shepherd there is nothing you shall lack or want.  And I raised Jesus from the dead by the Blood of the eternal Covenant as your great good Shepherd.

And let us continue with the Psalm.  Now pray on with David as he sings:  “I hate those who regard vain idols, but I trust in the Lord.  I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness (My chesed), because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul, and You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place.”  I know what you are going through.  Let Me deliver you.  Let Me provide you the way out, but not just out to another binding place but to a wide and open space, a large place—a place of peace, prosperity and healing.  And do not join in the vanity of those around you.  Abhor being involved in gossip, malice, arguments, anger, strife, hate, jealousy, pettiness, ungenerous behavior, these are vanity of vanities.  They produce no fruit but only bitter weeds.  They bind you.  Do not return to slavery.  Trust in Me and rejoice.  Be glad in My love which towers above the heavens and is deeper than the deepest sea.  And it is there in Jesus for you.  And I know your trials and afflictions. I know your troubles.  I will not give you over to the enemy!  You are Mine.  Take up the Sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith and let Me battle for you with My Word in your mouth.  Let Me pull you out of the mud of the swamp and put your feet on a high rock, and let Me put My song in your mouth. Psalm 40:1-3.

And let us continue on with Psalm 31.  You may be able to identify with this part if you are feeling weak and worn now.  “Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also. For my life is spent with sorrow and my years with sighing; my strength has failed because of my iniquity, and my body has wasted away.”  I have given you grace, abundance of grace, grace on top of grace, in My Son.  Grace and truth come through Him.  Receive Him.  And let Him strengthen you so that you can do all things.  For those who wait on Me I make vigor abound.  You will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint, for I will carry you on eagle’s wings as My own special possession.  But to soar with Me you have to be going in the same direction I am.  Go with the current, with the flow.  And what is that?  My purpose, My high calling, to reconcile all the world to Myself in Jesus.  Is that your goal to? Is your life lived to glorify My Name in Jesus?  Does your light shine to show Jesus as the center of the lampstand?  Or are you trying to take the limelight?  Turn to Him and He bears all your iniquity so that you are holy and blameless in My sight.  Look to Him and you will never be ashamed.  He took all your shame and gave you His righteousness.

You are most blessed, favored and loved in the Beloved.

And let us continue on.  “Because of all my adversaries, I have become a reproach, especially to my neighbors, and an object of dread to my acquaintances; those who see me in the street flee from me.”  Have you ever felt that way?  Ashamed of your appearance and your life?  Wanted to hide from all?  But I am your shield, your glory, and the lifter of your head.  I have made Jesus to be wisdom, sanctification, redemption, and righteousness for you.  1 Corinthians 1:30.  And this is a gift.  Not from your works but those of Jesus.

And let us continue:  “I am forgotten as a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.” This applies to Jesus in His passion.  But some of you may feel broken and as if your life and hope are over.  But Jesus is your hope and He will never die.  And by His stripes you are healed.  The chastisement was upon Him that makes you whole.  I can fix your broken life.  I can gather up the fragments into twelve baskets full that can feed and nourish others too.  I can make you fruitful even in old age.  My plans for you are shalom and not evil, a future and a hope.  Ask Me to deliver and  help you.  I will.  I will take hold of your hand and lead you to be a light to the nations.

And let us continue:  “For I have heard the slander of many,” don’t you know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue raised against you, you shall prove false?  For your righteousness is from Me.  The LORD God of hosts.

And let’s go on, “Terror is on every side, while they took counsel together against me, They schemed to take away my life.”  Have you never read Psalm 91? Though a thousand may fall at your left hand and ten thousand at your right hand, it shall not come near you.  You need not fear that terror of the night or the arrow that flies by day if you have made Me your refuge.  Just read Psalm 91 and make it your own.

And we will continue:  “But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, “You are my God.”  My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.”  Put your time in My hands and let us make it fruitful. Let Me prosper the work of your hands.  Let Me give you wisdom and skill.  Let Me be your God.  Call on Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know.  I share My secrets with those who delight in Me.  And I will deliver you from your enemies.  And deliverance starts with a song of praise.

And the next lines you want to memorize and say often so I can put My Name on you and bless you:  “Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; save me in Your lovingkindness (My chesed).”  I taught Moses how to have Aaron bless the Israelites and put My Name on them.  He was to pray that My Face would shine upon them and I would be gracious to them.  When you have My Face looking at you, you have it made.  My Face is brighter than the sun and the radiance that comes from My Face heals, delivers, lifts up, blesses and transforms.  And My glory is shining on the Face of Christ.  Light be.

And now let us go to the ending lines: “How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, before the sons of men!”  Yes, I am filled with goodness and every good thing and perfect gift comes down to you through My Word.  Believe this in your current trouble and soon you will have your rainbow.  Take refuge in Me till harm pass by.  Your Passover lamb has been sacrificed.  Let His blood protect you and cleanse you.

For what do I do?  David knew in times of danger, he sang what he experienced: “You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter (seter—a hiding place filled with treasures) from the strife of tongues.”  Come and dwell in the secret place of the Most High and you will find perfect protection and deliverance in times of trouble, famine, and war.  And you will sing with David:  “ Blessed be the Lord, for He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.”

But it was not all smooth sailing for him, you will have trials in this life, but take courage, in My Son you can overcome the world.  And the victory that overcomes the world?  Your faith in My love for you.  Your faith in My Word which promises you deliverance, healing and blessing now and forever.

See what David sang in the troublesome times and join with him:  “As for me, I said in my alarm, ‘I am cut off from before Your eyes’; nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to You.”  Always cry out to Me and know I hear you.  You are seated with Me in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

And what is the final advice in Psalm 31?  Open your ears to hear and your heart to sing:  “O love the Lord, all you His godly ones!  The Lord preserves the faithful and fully recompenses the proud doer. (Yes, I will vindicate you, pray for your enemies and those who mistreat you that they may not have to experience My just wrath but may repent and be saved, for that is My will.)  Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the Lord.”

Be strong in Me and the power of My might.  Hope in Me.  Hope in My Word.  It is your anchor in stormy times.  And it is a sure Word that goes behind the veil to My very throne.  I guarantee it.  My Word is established forever.

Do you know Me as your Helper?  Is it not time you let Me introduce Myself to you by My Word?

“Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son’s name?  Surely you know!” Proverbs 30:4.

I love you. Get to know Me by knowing Jesus. He will reveal Me to you.  Matthew 11:27.
