Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it. Psalm 37:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
The sanctified life is one of perfect trust in Me. When you know Me, you have no worries. You know that no matter what attacks you or what challenge you face that I have you covered, and I have the answer to will solve everything in your life. And I already had the answer before you ever even knew you had a problem. I have things prepared in advance, just walk with Me and all things will work together for your good.
Trust is believing without fear. My Son defined that for you. When Jairus’ daughter was sick to the point of death, he came looking for Jesus, declaring with faith that if Jesus came and laid His hand on her his little daughter would be healed. But then the report came as Jesus was walking back to his home with Jairus that his daughter had died, and it was no use to bring Jesus any further for it was too late for her to be saved. But My Son looked at Jairus and said, “Do not fear, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36. And you know the rest. Jairus refused to fear and went forward with Jesus and he saw Jesus raise his daughter from the dead. The righteous shall live by faith, but if they draw back I have no pleasure in them. Why? They limit My provision for them.
Many people say they are trusting in Me, but they really are not. They are doubting Me. They believe, but like the father of the boy who was throwing himself into fire and water and foaming at the mouth, they are at the same time fearful it will not work for them. That I will not come through. But I am always present as your helper.
How do you know if you are really trusting in Me? You have no fear, or at least, when fear starts you put down the fear by saying My Word, for nothing is impossible for Me and all things are possible to those who believe that, and rest in your trust in My love and My almighty power that I will solve things for you.
If you trust, you feel safe. David trusted Me with all heart, he knew I was for him—on his side—and that I not only loved him but that I liked him. And this is what he declared in song: “In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8. And his son Solomon knew the same about trusting in My Wisdom and understanding: “Then you will walk in your way securely and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.” Proverbs 3:23-24.
Security in Me. There is no snatching out of My Hand, and I have covered you with the shadow of My hand. I am your refuge. I have written your name in the palm of My hand. I will never forget you. I will never forsake you. I will never withdraw My love from you. I have loved you with an everlasting love. You are precious in My sight. I protect you as the apple of My eye, and I will always care for you. Cast your cares upon Me, for I care for you.
My prophet Isaiah knew Me well and spoke thus to Me: “You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is fixed (stayed) on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4.
You can only trust with complete confidence someone you have an intimate relationship with, someone you know well and have found that he or she is for you and not against you, that that person would not hurt you but will always act in your best interest. And I am the only one that does that. Every person, to a certain extent, is putting him or herself at the forefront. But I do not. I do not need to. I am the Most High, and I am in no danger of going lower or being put out of My exalted place. I sustain, rule and own all, though I have given dominion over the works of My hands on the earth to men, but if someone will pray, I can still come in and change things in your world for all creation moves at My Word. The closest you see to My love on earth is that of a parent who will give his life to save his child, or a spouse so in love that he will give his life for his spouse. But those sacrifices are not constant, for even with a parent and child the relationship can be up and down, same with spouses, but not with Me.
When you were sinners and acting against Me, I gave My Son to die for you, so I could reconcile you to Myself, sinless and beloved. And He found it a joy to do so for you. I have not changed. I am your everlasting rock. Immovable, unshakeable, and forever the same. I am Love and that will never change. It is My very substance and being, everything else is foreign to Me and cannot enter Me. Satan had no part in My Son.
You can have confidence that I will do what I have promised. I do forgive all your sins, heal all your ills, redeem you from the pit, surround you with love and compassion, fill your days with good, and renew your youth like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1-5. By the stripes of My Son you are and were healed. Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24. I am your good Shepherd and I sent My Son to be that to you forever. You can live in the Light of My love. You can live your life with, in and through Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith. All come to you through, in, and with Him.
But you can only have peace if you do as My Son told Jairus: Do not be afraid, only believe.
My Son gave you His peace. So you have unshakeable peace, but He gave you a part in it too: “My peace I give you, My peace I leave you, I do not give it as the world does, do not let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid.” John 14:27. Guard your heart against the doubts and fears—the fiery darts of the enemy. Put up your shield of faith and be at peace in Me. I will not fail you or forsake you. I have promised you that.
If you will feed on My Word and speak only it, for to whom else shall you go, I have the Words of everlasting life, then you will strengthen your faith and come to the point of perfect trust. The point where you are no longer trapped in the mud of the swamp but standing singing on the Rock. And My mountain is the highest mountain where all the riches of the earth will come. My light and fidelity will lead you to My Holy Mountain as you trust in Me and take you to new heights of walking in perfect peace. Jairus did and it had the result he desired. Take delight in Me, and I will give you your heart’s desire. And if you are delighting in Me, you are trusting in Me to do all and more for you than I have promised. Delighting is not doubting.
Stop the fear, feed your faith, and trust that what I say will come to pass in your life. I told Joshua to be strong and courageous by meditating and speaking My Word and turning to no other counsel. He understood, for he knew what had happened to his colleagues who preferred their own fear filled words above My Words of victory. For I know the plans I have for you, and you should know too, plans for your shalom and not evil, for a future and a hope. When you call, I answer you, and when you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you. You can count on that. And that is trust.
You will begin to say with Jesus, “To do Your Will is My delight, and Your law is within My heart.” Yes, I have given you a new heart and have put My Spirit in you and written My law therein. The law of love. The law of faith. The law of trust. And those are the perfect law of liberty—all found in the implanted seed of My Word, that has the power to save your souls.
Do not fear. Only believe. Speak only what you want to see in your life. My promises cover every need and beyond, you can never fully understand in this life the enormity of My power in you and the magnificent promises I have given you. So, stop the fear. You take the worry by saying it. You stop it by saying the contrary that is found in My Word. Think about that and each day consider what you are saying. Ask yourself if you truly want to see come to pass what you have stated, if not, don’t say it. It is that simple. You will not burst. Train yourself in righteousness by speaking righteousness. I have given you Mine in Christ.
How do you develop trust? Like My fearless servant Paul, know the One in whom you have believed. Spend time with Me in My Word each day and let Me draw you into My light and speak to your heart. And then do as My servant Paul tells you worked for him, and he trusted Me to the uttermost:
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:4-9.
I love you. Do not fear, rest in My love and My almighty power—only believe and you will see My salvation. Be comfortable with Me for I am the God of all comfort. I am always there for you and I am true to My Word, faithful and true. And My Words for you are all magnificent.
Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, “Talitha kum!” (which translated means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astounded. Mark 5:41-43.
Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul. Hebrews 10:36-39.
