Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:6-8.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

I tell you that I am well pleased with you when you walk in truth, when you walk in love, and when you walk in the light. Why? Because then you are imitating Me as My dear children and sharing My joy so that your joy, and Mine, are complete, lacking in nothing.

I am My Word and My Word is truth. I am love, I am light, and I am shalom (peace and wholeness in all areas of your life). So to imitate Me as My dear children and precious treasures, you must be walking in truth, love, the light and shalom peace.

Every good and delightful fruit has its root in love. Works done without love mean nothing to Me. The life of empty show is not the way to grow in love. You are not ready to cross the line between earth and the everlasting Kingdom until your heart is filled with perfect love. Enoch got there and was on earth no more. He just stepped over into love. Elijah as well. And your crossing will be just as easy. Absent from the body, present with Me.

But first I must see and love in you what I see and love in Christ, it raised Him from the pit of hell to My right hand in glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

What did I see? Perfect love.

My Son saw it in the criminal next to Him on the cross and it opened My Kingdom to him. And it will do the same for you. I am looking for My image in you. And I am love, light, truth, and peace. Everyone in Heaven is family, a family of love. Each heart there is a heart filled with perfect love. When I see that in you, you are one to whom I can entrust My Kingdom to reign with Me forever.

Since I tell you to love with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, I should think you would want to know what love is. Love rejoices in the truth. Love and truth are interrelated. Lies have no place in pure love, for love never deceives or cheats another.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. Ephesians 4:25-28.

Love does not lie or condone lies. Today there are many lies and false doctrines being taught. Love does not join in with things contrary to love. Love abhors the evil but loves the people trapped by the sin and thus Jesus releases you from sin because of the love in Him for you. But He never condoned evil, instead He lifted it off you onto Himself and died for it. Sin is death and a hideous death.

Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Revelation 1:4-6.

Love serves. Jesus came to serve and not to be served, to give His life for you. The greatest one among you is the one who serves others in love. Remember, without love, no matter how hard you are serving, it means nothing if you are doing it with a resentful heart.

And love is careful in how it speaks to others, and even to yourself. Love has to do with thoughts, words, and actions. I think in love, talk in love, and walk in love, all else is foreign to Me and it should be for you as well, for I have created you anew, in My image, in Christ Jesus.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32.

And remember, the way I forgave you in Christ was by the blood He shed for you, and that is the way you forgive those who sin against you as well. By the payment of the blood to you.

Living the joy of the forgiven and forgiving lifestyle is a big part of walking in love. For many it is the biggest hurdle to their being able to walk in love. Love has no part in a heart hard with unforgiveness, bitter roots, and hate. That is the territory of darkness, where the devil crawls.

On the contrary, pure love stays in the light. It is not subject to variation or shifting shadow. It has nothing to hide.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:19-21.

When you walk in the light with Me, then the blood of My Son continually cleanses you of all sin.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.

Here is a characteristic of true love: Love never harms the neighbor. You may have to rebuke or exhort him, but you never do evil to him. You do not shame, demean, or chastise another with your words, you edify, encourage, and exhort. You speak the truth in love to set others free, not to trap them in your net of hatred and revenge. Jesus never tried to get even. He did not come to condemn but to save. And you should rejoice in that, for of His fullness you have all received, grace on top of grace. He is My gift to you to rescue you from darkness into light. In Him you can find, receive, and learn pure love.

Love is patient. It is consistent in doing good and being faithful in all situations and challenges. It does not change because the desired outcome takes time. Some things take longer to grow than others, especially when it is dependent on others and not just you. Joshua and Caleb were ready, willing, and able to take the land I had promised them but the majority of the people they were bound up with would not enter. So they waited for forty years but they never gave up and they persevered in patience. They never lost faith, hope, or love that entire time. They thanked Me for keeping them strong when the time did come to enter. In fact, the wait did not stunt their growth but they took it as an opportunity to grow in faith so that they were stronger and more youthful when they entered than they had been forty years earlier. And they led all the rest in taking possession of the good things I had promised them.

Love is kind. Kindness is never harsh or rude to others. It is gentle with those who are weak and carries the lambs in its bosom. Even when exhorting and correcting kindness does not yell or scream. It has nothing to do with revenge. It is not about pride or having your way all the time. Kindness thinks of the way to encourage and grow the other to be the person I made them to be.

Love is not jealous. When you love you want the best for everyone, including yourself. And you know that what you see and love in others, by the spiritual standard, will come back to you as your own too and in even greater measure. See others goodness and excellence as adding to you and not detracting from you.

When you understand the body of Christ, as they do in Heaven, you rejoice in the good you see in others and in their great deeds of excellence, because you know as part of the body with them that increases your glory and raises you higher as well. That is why the cloud of witnesses, those who proceeded in works of faith, are cheering you on. Every good thing you do is accounted to you and them, that is, to the whole body and ultimately to the head. Live for the praise of His glory and your glory will increase in every good deed you undertake in love.

Love is not puffed up. Love boasts in all I have done for you and in you. You know that by yourself alone you can do nothing that produces eternal fruit. But with Me you can do all things wonderful and produce fruit that endures. I do great things in you and with you. Extol what I have done for you and do for you in Christ! You are beloved, forgiven, blessed and favored.

Love is not arrogant. It does not see itself as better than others and as having reached perfection. This was the mistake of the Pharisees and it caused them to reject all teaching and correction from My Son.

Love does not behave unbecomingly. It is not rude, crude, immodest, sarcastic, or subject to anger fits, that is, childish tantrums. Love does not embarrass others and especially not Me as one known to be a believer in Me.

Love does not just seek its own and walk over others, remember how Ahab took Naboth’s vineyard? Do not be like that. Love gives and then love receives. You give to receive.  You do not murder to get what you want. Whether it be in the heart or physically. Naboth’s reputation was ruined by lies and then he was unjustly put to death just so Ahab could take Naboth’s ancestral heritage as his own.

Love is not provoked. Love does not pick up on insults or get offended when it is not treated as it thinks it should be. Do not be so quick to take exception at what someone says to you. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Let it go and save a soul. Everyone should see how kind and reasonable you are.

Love does not keep an account of wickedness, bad, evil, or inner malice against others. Do not bring up all the things someone has said to you or done that offended you to others, to the person, or even just to yourself. Handle this with care. Love covers a multitude of sins that are not worth remembering. And that will set you free from torment and the prison of unforgiveness in your heart so you can go forward to the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance.

Love never rejoices in evil behavior and unrighteousness, even if it is directed at someone that offended you. Love rejoices in the truth, for the truth will set you free if  you renew your mind in truth.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:6-8.

Often in translations of 1 Corinthians 13:7, you will read that love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. This is a very poor translation. Love does NOT believe all things. Love only walks in truth. Love does not bear all things, love casts out evil. Love does not hope all things, it hopes for what I promise in My Word with certainty. It does not just endure, it overcomes and changes things.

Let Me tell you what that passage says in the original language in which it was written, which is Greek. It states that love covers closely, and wards off evil, for every part and every event. Love protects the good and casts out the evil. It says that in all and every part of the whole of life, love has faith, that is, love believes in trust that what I say will come to pass. Love is fully persuaded of My love and the truth of My Word in every part of every day, of every hour, and every moment of what makes up the whole of your life. The word there is “pas,” which means “all, every,” in the sense of each and every part that makes up the whole. The total picture with one piece at a time. Viewing the whole in terms of individual parts and having faith in every one of the parts of your day. Yes, fully persuaded faith in every circumstance of your life. And that is the same word used for hopes all, endures all. It means that in every part of life, you face it with fully persuaded faith in My Word.

And the next line is translated “Love never fails.” The word translated “fails” is the Greek word “pipto”, which means to fall, fall under, fall flat, in other words to descend from a higher place to a lower place, to come to an end, to be defeated. Love never falls flat or descends to a lower level and it never ends. Love, true love, is eternal.

In the end of life as you know it now on earth, three things remain, faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. Why? Faith and hope both work by love. Love is the answer to everything for I am love and I am your answer. I am your reason to be and your eternity.

I love you. Love stays above to see as I do and to set its mind above where Christ is seated at My right hand. For in Him, I have seated you there too. Live higher. And the highest way is perfect love. I am looking for it, My eyes go to and fro across the earth looking for hearts towards Me to show Myself strong on their behalf. I am looking for hearts of love. Pure love. My love. I found David to be a man after My own heart. And so are you who are reading this. I see your heart,  have no fear.
