I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. John 17:11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
You can tell immediately if someone loves Me. The spark is there. It is the difference of serving another out of a sense of obligation but having no pleasure in it and serving someone because you love that person and want to be with them for the joy of their presence. You are seeking them. They are in your heart and on your mind.
It is the joy test. Why do serve someone? Is it duty rather than delight? Is it guilt rather than choice? Is it trapped rather then free? Is it obligation and not desire? Are you secretly weeping or are you joyfully singing? Are you complaining and put upon or thankful and taking on?
One is complaining, the other is praising. One is saying how much they gave up and sacrificed to follow Me and the other is thanking and magnifying the underserved gain, the treasure beyond measure they found in Me. One is saying how much he gave up and surrendered to Me and the other is declaring the opportunity for victory they found in Me that made them count all else as rubbish in comparison. There is a huge difference between head knowledge of Me and heart knowledge of who I AM. I am looking at the heart.
Do you see serving Me as burdensome and heavy or do you see it as easy and light, your opportunity for greatness? Do find being with Me a rest or a struggle?
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.
Do you struggle with Me in prayer thinking unless you press in hard I will not give you what you want, even such things as healing? Or do you have no fear because you know I am there as your healer? If things that come into your life from the world, the flesh and the devil are shaking you up into anxiety and fear then you do not know Me, because if you knew who I AM you would just shake them off and go forward unafraid. You would just tell them “Oh, no you don’t,” and let them know who I AM to you and what you have in Me and walk right over that unclean spirit that is trying to find a way into you. I told you to tread on the devil and all his evil forces and influences. That is not a struggle, that is simply answering with the truth of My Word and going forward in My rest knowing I am taking care of you. Trust Me and sing for joy under the wings of My heavenly host that surrounds you.
But you will never rest in Me if you do not know Me. And the only way you can know Me, that is, how I work among you, is in seeing My Son. He reveals Me to you in the flesh. And He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil for I was with Him. We are one.
I am not hard to find, for if you seek Me with your heart you will find Me there with you. All life exists in Me and because of Me. And even though I planned, created, and daily sustain you, there are many people who do not know Me. And this grieves Me. For I seek your fellowship, and a fellowship of love that stays in the freshness of first love that never loses the joy and delight in the beloved. I never lose it for you. It is not a burden for Me to sustain, heal, profit, and bless you. I am never tired of hearing your voice and sharing My life with you. My eyes are on you every moment for good and not evil, for blessing and never cursing.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, My Word, and you will see Me in action. Never look away, stay in the light of delight.
The first man and woman knew Me but there came a division between us that was not of My making. This division plunged the world I had made for you filled with light and goodness into darkness and evil. It took you below the light of spiritual vision to the limited realm of seeing only in the flesh. The realm of confusion and darkness. For with Me is the fountain of life and in My light, you see light.
You went from light to darkness. When you cut yourself off from your source, your life is no longer fruitful or free. And that is what the whole history of salvation is about. The road to freedom is the pathway of salvation and it is a pathway of light.
And I have given you the Way, a new and living Way, and He is the Light of the world. And, in Hebrew, as He was first named, His Name is Yeshuah, which means “salvation.”
Once you divided yourself from Me and limited yourselves to the flesh realm rather than the spirit realm, you no longer were able to look upon Me for I AM pure light. But I had a solution.
He, your Teacher, will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:20-21.
The way, the truth and the life would open to you the path to freedom, and in His humanity you could gaze upon My divinity with unveiled faces.
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.
Now let us consider My memorial Name, which is for those in Covenant with Me, for Jesus told you I had given Him My Name to keep you in, for My Name is a strong tower for you to take up your dwelling in.
I AM, I WAS, and I AM TO COME, that is My Name, which you write as LORD but in the original language of Hebrew in which it was spoken when I revealed Myself to Moses, it is not that way.
This is My memorial Name for all generations. It is made up of three tenses of the verb “to be” (hayah, hoveh, and yihyeh) and shortened to four letters, a yad (yod) (י), a hei (ה), a vav (ו), and a hei (ה), thus reading from right to left it is יהוה, I always was and I always will be and I am always with you in the present moment. I am your reason to be and your eternity. All are alive to Me. It is the verb of being in its most profound sense.
And My Name introduces My Son to you right in the letters of My Memorial Name. For in the language of Hebrew, in which My Word was first delivered as spoken and as written, every letter has a pictograph, a number, and a meaning. In fact, many of the letters combined with the letters that complete how they are pronounced are actually the word used for the pictograph. Let me show you.
The first letter of My Name is a “yad” or “yod,” (י). This is the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet (alef bet) and its pictograph and meaning is a hand. My hand of power. Yad is the word for hand. Thus, the first letter in My Name is pictured as a hand. In Hebrew, the letters are used as numbers and yod is number 10. Ten fingers on your two hands.
The second letter in My Name is the letter “hei” (ה), the pictograph of which is a man standing with his hands both raised in awe as he receives grace from Heaven. Its meaning is “grace,” and it is the number 5.
Next you have the letter “vav” (ו), the pictograph of which is a nail or large tent peg. Its number is 6.
And the last letter is another hei for grace.
Please look at My Name in pictograph and meaning and you will see a hand, grace, a nail, and more grace. A hand nailed with grace upon grace flowing to humanity from the divinity. I am telling you of the solution to set you free. I sent My Son to save you and set you free from the law of sin and death.
But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Isaiah 53:5-6.
“I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10.
They pierced My hands and My feet. I can count all my bones. Psalm 22:16-17.
I gave the Law (Torah) to Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ, who is true God and true Man, My Son, in whom I reconciled the world to Myself. He joins the divine and the human in one seamless life. Joining you to Me in His divinity and joining Me to you in His humanity.
And of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. John 1:16.
And what is His Name? Yeshuah (ישועה), which you translate “Jesus,” but in Hebrew it is not that way. Yeshuah literally means “salvation.” His Name is His mission. He came to save you, and that includes giving you back the light, the blessing, the abundance of Eden, your dominion authority, and, above all, eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23.
He released you from your sins by His blood. He is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no other way to My Kingdom for there is no other way that sin is forgiven, and not just forgiven but gone—borne by Him who knew no sin but became sin for you all, punished in your place by substitution and identification.
I pronounce My Memorial Name as “Yahavah,” (יָהָוָה) which when said aloud signifies “hand of love.” You are all the works of My hands, and I am love.
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You are our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8.
I created you you as My family in My image and according to My likeness and we are not complete while separated from one another. My delight is to be with you in the partnership and friendship of fellowship. I made you to rule and reign with Me forever. Romans 5:17; Revelation 22:5.
Eternal life is a relationship we have together. It is knowing Me, the one true God, and knowing My Son, Yeshuah, who reconciles us and unites us as one. He is the Messiah, the anointed One I sent into the world, who made communication and fellowship open again between us, for though He is one God with Me, He became flesh and dwelt among you as God and Man, thus uniting us as one.
And the name you will see used in the Old Testament that can be used to address God or man as a Lord or King over you is “Adonai (אדוני),” Genesis 18:3;12; Genesis 23:6; Psalm 90:1; Psalm 105:21; Psalm 110:1. And you translate that as “Lord,” using lower case letters.
When you see “Lord” with lower case letters it is Adonai, which addresses God and/or man as nobility or an authority. And when you see “LORD” in all upper-case letters it is yod hei vav hei, which is Me, your Father.
Jesus told you that Moses wrote about Him, and this is true in so many ways. But let us just look at Psalm 90 for a moment and you will see: Lord (Adonai), You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God. Psalm 90:1-2. Moses knew My Name of Yahavah when he wrote that Psalm but he addressed Adonai, My Son, as your dwelling place. He is the cleft in the rock where I hid Moses so I could go by him with no harm. And then later in the Psalm he addresses Me as Yahavah to return and relent but then he calls down favor in Adonai. Psalm 90:13-17. For He shields you from the wrath to come and gives permanence to the works of your hands. Psalm 90:17. If you remain in Him and Him in you, you will produce much fruit that will last, eternal fruit.
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the believers what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:27-21.
I have put you in Christ, and that is My doing, so that in Him you are secure always in Me. In seeing Him you see Me. And that gives you more of My Name that is realized in Him—My Covenant promise names are all “yes” to you in Him for He became all of them to you. He keeps you in My Name which I have given to Him.
I AM the LORD your healer, Exodus 15:26, the LORD who sees ahead and provides for you, Genesis 22:14, the LORD who is there for you, Ezekiel 48:35, the LORD your Shepherd, Psalm 23:1; Ezekiel 34:16; John 10:11, the LORD your Righteousness, Jeremiah 23:6, 2 Corinthians 5:21, the LORD your banner (victory, miracle), Exodus 17:15, 1 Corinthians 15:57, the LORD your peace, Judges 6:24, John 14:27, the LORD your fortress, 2 Samuel 22:2, the LORD your shield, Genesis 15:1; Psalm 144:2, the LORD your Refuge, Deuteronomy 33:27, Psalm 91:2, 9; the LORD your strength, Psalm 18:2, the LORD your rock, Psalm 18:2, the LORD your sanctifier, Exodus 31:18, Leviticus 20:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, the LORD your redeemer, Isaiah 43:14; and the LORD your Savior. Isaiah 49:26.
Jesus fulfills every one of these and can be called these names, showing He is One with Me.
And Jesus adds His “I AM” names to the promises of the New Covenant, all of which you find in Him for I have given Him My Name: The Light of the world, and the promise with that Name is that no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of life. John 8:12. The way, the truth and the life, John 14:6, the good Shepherd, John 10:11, the Bread of Life, John 6:35, the Door, John 10:7, the Resurrection and the Life, John 11:25, and the Vine. John 15:1.
When you know My Word, you know Me. And Jesus is My Word, so you know Me in knowing Him.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. John 14:6-11.
I love you. May you know Me as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—your creator, provider, source, and sustainer, your savior, your redeemer, your Shepherd, and your way, and your partner, your helper, the one who never leaves your side and is within you to guide you to all truth and give you all the answers you seek. I am the One who never leaves you or forsakes you because you have all of Me in the One in three. And in the next Life Lesson we will talk about the Name that was from the beginning that reveals all three persons in the one God in one Name– Elohim.
The king Nebuchadnezzar answered Daniel and said, “Surely your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings (the Son) and a revealer of mysteries (the Holy Spirit), since you have been able to reveal this mystery.” Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon. Daniel 2:47-48.
Even a pagan king saw the three in One, why not you?
