The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

It is time to seek Me. Hosea 10:12. In My Word one of the recurrent themes you will find is to seek Me. Men throughout the ages have sought Me, though they often did not know it was Me they were seeking, they just knew their hearts were looking for someone more than the world could offer. Someone who knew them, who welcomed them, who loved them unconditionally, and who would always be there with them at their side. And someone who could make everything right when everything went wrong. Someone that could make them happy when they were sad. Someone who would know the answers to the questions that exceeded human knowledge. Someone who could make the impossible possible and give hope to the hopeless.

One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty and delightfulness of the LORD and to inquire in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Psalm 27:2-4.

I tell you to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and My way of righteousness, and everything you need will be added to you. I tell you to seek Me early so that your days will be filled with good things and you may spend your years in prosperity. I tell you to seek and you shall find. I tell you to seek Me with all your heart and you will find Me right there with you.

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13.

I tell you what to seek as well, seek My face.

When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” Psalm 27:6.

Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11.

Why My face? What do you seek to get to know someone, what do you seek when you want answers? Where do a baby’s eyes seek to attach and that brings a happy giggle in him? Your face, but a certain part of the face, yes, your eyes. You want attention, you want to look into the person’s face, but more than that you are looking for eye contact. Once you catch someone’s eyes something happens that you cannot have without that contact. It has to do with the spirit of the person. It has to do with a relationship of knowing the heart. You find the heart of the person in their eyes.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose hearts are turned completely (shalem (שָׁלֵם): complete, safe, at peace) towards Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9.

I am looking for those whose hearts are seeking Me in love. Those who are seeking eye contact with Me. If you are angry at someone you turn your face away from them. You avoid eye contact.

The beautiful thing is if you lift your eyes to Me, you will find My loving eyes are on you.

I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed. Psalm 34:4-5.

Think about why a man would seek a wife or a wife seek a husband for I liken My relationship with you to a marriage of our spirits joining as one, unique but one. People seek a spouse to have someone always at their side—a helper, a partner, someone like-minded to share life with who is one with them in faithfulness and love. They are looking from family, a place where they belong. When you seek Me, you are seeking a relationship of Covenant where I lift you up to a whole new level of being—far from fear, far from oppression, where we are as one in purpose, focus, and love. We become family.

Seek Me first, I am an ever-present help in time of trouble. Jesus explained to you that He would not leave you alone, He would not leave you orphans, He would send the Paraclete (one at your side) to be with you and in you always. And He, the Paraclete, the Spirit of truth, would guide you to all truth, lead you in the way you should go, and tell you of the things to come. In other words, He would always be there for you so you could hear from Me 24/7 forever. The Spirit of Me and Jesus in you joined with your spirit—that is communion, fellowship, and partnership. That is family.

I tell you to be active about seeking Me. You must pursue a relationship with another to have it blossom and grow. You cannot be passive about it. You press in to know that person and to be the one they share their secrets with.

“So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the early and the latter rain watering the earth.” Hosea 6:3.

The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His Covenant. My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:14-15.

You prove yourself faithful, even in the little things because you are seeking Me. You are mindful of Me in all your ways. You are seeking to be close to Me. To be where I am.

Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. And Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?” He said to them, “Come, and you will see.” So they came and saw where He was staying; and they stayed with Him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. John 1:35-39.

And after spending the day with Jesus what did they do? Followed Him the rest of their lives and encouraged others to find Him as well. They never stopped seeking Him, even after He ascended back to My right hand in Heaven. It just gave them a higher perspective.

One of the two who heard John speak and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He found first his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which translated means Christ, the anointed One). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas” (which is translated Peter (Rock)). John 1:40-41.

How do you seek Me? The answer is threefold and it is the three that last forever: you seek Me in faith (with your eyes on My Word knowing it is the truth that saves you and sets you free), you seek Me in hope (with your minds set on My promises as true and coming to pass for sure), and you seek Me in love (with your hearts completely turned towards Me at all times in honor and thanksgiving, loyalty and faithfulness to the One who gave you everything for life and godliness forever in Jesus).

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence (title deed) to things not as yet seen in the natural realm but very real in the spirit realm. Even if you have never seen the real estate if you are given the title deed, you know it is yours for the claiming. You just need to get the squatters off you property and keep them off. Do not just let them stay on your property. Cast out the demons in Jesus’ Name. Submit to Me, that is, believe My promises to you, do not forget any of My Covenant benefits, seek them all, and then resist the devil by countering (checking) any of his attacks and moves to take what is yours away from you by holding onto My Word in answering his lies with the truth of My Word. Truth wins in any court. Truth is forever, it is incorruptible, lies perish, they are corrupted.

Hope is confident expectation of the good I have promised. It is confidence in Me for the victory. And hope does not disappoint. Be diligent at pursuing My promises in faith and patience, which is hope, and you shall have them. Do not be sluggish about this and stop seeking if the way seems rough. The devil never gives up easy because he plays chess, diabolical chess. So he is always ready for another round even when you have checkmate.

Love never fails. It is stronger than death. The grave cannot hold it down. Sin cannot overcome it. Darkness has to flee. It burns everything that is not love up in its purifying flame. Love will get you through anything with joy. Jacob’s love for Rachel was so great that working for her seven years seemed like nothing to him. Love makes your life sweet. And love always wins. For I am love and I am the Most High. Love is the highest and happiest way to live. Love gives you joy all the day. And love is thankful.

You rejoice always in faith, you pray always in hope, and you give constant thanks in love. It all matches up to My Will for you in Christ Jesus: rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks—and that is how you seek Me according to My Will.

But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13.

I love you. And we came back again to the narrow way of rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and giving constant thanks. The Way of doing My Will, for such is My Will for you in Christ Jesus.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land.” Isaiah 1:18-19.
