But Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:24-25.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Do not lose heart because your heart is about to be satisfied.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6.

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. Psalm 65:4.

“I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:14.

Jesus came to heal the broken hearted.

The Spirit of the Lord LORD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD. Isaiah 61:1-2.

Once My servant David asked his soul, “Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me?” And he answered himself, “Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence.” Psalm 42:5.

When I raised Jesus from the dead, I raised Him as My Son, your Savior, your Righteousness and Justification, as God and Man, as your hope, and I raised you with Him, but there is more, I raised Him to continue to minister to you FOREVER as your great good Shepherd and your great High Priest. He is there to help you, the help of His presence, the lifter of your head.

Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20.

Jesus was on earth for a brief thirty-three years and on the cross for close to a day but He is FOREVER your great High Priest and your great good Shepherd. He continues to serve you as He has always done, for Jesus is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER. He came to serve and not to be served, to give His life for you. And He still does.

They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:16-17.

For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever. Hebrews 7:26-28.

Today I want to talk with you about your great High Priest. Why would I anoint Him to be your High Priest FOREVER according to the order of Melchizedek? I showed this to Abraham as I taught him the Gospel ahead of time, I showed it to David who foretold it in Psalm 110, which Jesus quoted, and I reveal it to you in My Word in the Letter to the Hebrews and the book of Revelation. And in other places and many prophets I give you glimpses and instructions on the priesthood and the ministry of those chosen and called as priests, for I am their portion forever.

What does Jesus do for you as High Priest?

  1. He FOREVER makes intercession for you, salvation to the uttermost. The work He has done for you and does for you makes you complete, perfect, and entire. His blood of eternal redemption is before Me on the mercy seat continually to cleanse away sin.

What is He praying for you who are still in the world? Let Him tell you:

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Luke 22:31-32.

That your faith will never fail. Unless your faith is strong, you will not be strong. And to be genuine faith that remains it must be grounded in the truth, the solid rock foundation of My Word. And He has High Priest has poured out His anointing on you, the Spirit of truth that will guide you to all truth and remind you of My Words. And that brings you to the next job description:

  1. Jesus is the High Priest of your confession (profession), Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. Hebrews 3:1. And again, Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:14-15.

The word in the Greek in which that was originally written that is translated “confession” or “profession,” is “homologia (ὁμολογία),” which means speaking the same word in agreement with Him. It means that you are speaking in agreement with My Words out of your mouth. And, as I told Jeremiah, I watch over My Word to perform it.

When you, in agreement in your heart, return My Words to Me out of your mouth as your own declarations in any situation, they do not return void but achieve the purpose for which I sent them. Which is contained in the promise, such as healing, forgiveness, provision, deliverance, and/or youth renewal, that you are speaking. This is what it means to submit to Me (agree with My Words and refuse to say anything to the contrary than the good result I promise), resist the devil, and he will flee FROM YOU. Answer his lies with the Word of truth that contradicts what he is saying to you and cast it down. Do not let the nasty or tormenting thoughts he puts into your mind phase you even one bit. Just refuse them by looking at Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Then cast the devil and that thought he has brought out in Jesus’ Name. Cast your care on Me for complete restoration and then go into the voice of thanksgiving, which works wonders. Thanksgiving is the catalyst for miracles.

  1. Jesus, your great High Priest, anoints you with the same anointing with which I anointed Him and makes you a royal priesthood, a kingdom, priests unto Me with Him.

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6.

“Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood people from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10.

And what do priests do? They minister unto Me and unto the people. They teach the people My Word. They shepherd My people. They pray and intercede for the people. They offer the sacrifices for the people’s sins

  1. Jesus is with you always, and as you say My Words with Him, He ushers you into My presence reconciled by a new and living way with confidence right to My throne of grace. He is your forerunner behind the veil.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16l

Both as High Priest and the good Shepherd, Jesus is taking you into My rest, My abiding presence and your promised land. He draws you close to Me so that I AM with you as all in all. Jesus is the guarantee of a better Covenant. He saves FOREVER those who draw close to Me through, with, and in Him.

The priests were the teachers of My Word, the judges, the intercessors, they offered sacrifices for themselves and the people, they told the people about Me and Me about the people, and they took My words to the people and the people’s words to me. Jesus has made you a priest, a prophet, and a king. Do you know who you really are? Amazing, wonderful, and valuable to Me.

When Jesus had completed His mission to undo the works of the devil and make it as if sin had never been between us, His work for you, with you, and in you was not over. It really had just begun. Born again and filled with My Spirit, you were ready to do the works He did and greater. And how do you do those? You ask in His Name and He will perform My Words in your mouth as the great High Priest of your confession. Homologia.

The power of agreement moves mountains, parts seas, rolls back rivers, makes walls fall down, opens prison gates, makes blind eyes see, makes crippled limbs straight and strong, makes the deaf hear and the mute speak, multiplies bread, cleanses lepers, and raises the dead. But best of all, it makes you a new creation in Christ, a child of Mine, and a joint heir with Christ of everything. It gives you eternal life. It gives you FOREVER.

I love you. I am your forever Father. It is better not to sin, but if you do, remember you have an advocate with Me, your great High Priest, who FOREVER intercedes for you, and He is the propitiation for your sins and not your sins only, but those of the whole world. FOREVER.
