Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Those who know that in Me they have the best are at rest. When you truly know Me, that is, know who I am to you and who you are to Me, you are not searching for other gods who you think can do more for you, or even seeking only yourself as both Satan and Adam were. You are content in Me because you know that in Me you have everything and have the very best.
I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. Philippians 3:7-9.
The restless searching is over for other things, you realize I am the one and only one that gives you everything that you could ever ask or desire, and indeed, beyond all you can even ask or imagine.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.
When someone’s desire is to please Me, that is when I know they know Me. Why? Because I have pleased them, they want to please Me.
Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight, we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:6-9.
They have tasted My goodness and they are seeking more.
Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. 1 Peter 2:1-3.
Those who really know Me have one desire that is the basis of everything else in their lives, and that desire is to be with Me and to please Me because they have found My presence and My ways pleasing to them.
But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahavah) my refuge, that I may tell of (recount) all Your works. Psalm 73:28.
They have found themselves living in a shower of blessings no matter what anyone around them is experiencing, it does not sway them.
They will not be ashamed in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they will have abundance. Psalm 37:19.
They know Me and they know that everyone could have what they do if they only knew Me and My ways and walked with Me in them.
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good. Psalm 14:1.
I am love and it is love beyond all that you can contain or understand. It is higher than the heavens and deeper than the sea, its height, breadth, depth, and length is beyond what the human eye can see. If you truly saw it clearly it would lift you up to the third Heaven and render all mortal ties asunder. That is why Moses could not gaze upon My face and remain in this world. I covered him with My hand in the cleft of the rock. And that rock is Christ.
Who am I? I AM. I have always been and will always be, from everlasting to everlasting I am God. There no other God but Me and for Me there is no one else like you for you are in My image and according to My likeness and I have made you as unique as I am. There is only one YOU. And there is only one Me. I give you life, breath and being and once you have been born into this world you will never cease to be. You have a beginning but no end. I have no beginning and no end.
Why did I make you? So you could be with Me. It is not good for you to be alone and you are like Me. What would all the beauty mean if there was no one there to enjoy it with Me? My delight is to be with you and I want your delight to be with Me. And I make it your free choice. Love must be free or it is not truly attached for the right reasons and will not live in truth and faithfulness.
Jesus is the firstborn of all creation. He is My Word and I created everything that I made by and with Him. All things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17. And I have made you joint heirs with Him and loved you as I have loved Him. I have made everything for you for as He is before Me so are you. Because He lives you live.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23.
Jesus did not come to be served by you but to serve you. And in seeing Him you are seeing Me. I am here to serve you and that should not surprise you for it is the duty of the father to support the children and the duty of a husband to love and care for his wife. And that is how close you are to Me. I desire us to be joined as one. Unique and fully operative but one in heart and mind, purpose and goal.
If you are seeking to please Me, I am very clear about what I find pleasing. First, it is impossible to please Me without faith. To come to Me and be one with Me you must believe that I exist, that I am your source and origin, and that I reward those who seek Me. You must know and believe in the love I have for you, which manifests in My Son, before you are comfortable with Me. You are comfortable where you are loved, appreciated, welcome, understood, forgiven, and desired. And with Me you are all of that and more. It is My great goodness that you have received and by which the earth is filled also. The earth is full of My goodness, but like the Manna, you have to gather it up and not pass it by.
To please Me you must love and keep My Word as treasure by which you find life, health, and the key to all success in every area of your life. I tell you that when you keep My Word I love you and My Son and I make our dwelling with you and I reveal My Son to you. John 14:21, 23. And Jesus tells you that when you remain in My Word and My Word remains in you, you may ask whatever you will and I will grant it. My Word, once you are full of it, will reveal to you the true desires of your heart that are your life that I have planned for you from the start.
I love justice and righteousness. I hate lies, deception, and impure speech, anything that does not edify the hearer with grace. I hate malice, ill will, jealousy, and envy. I hate sin and what it does to people. I will not countenance wicked plans.
I am kind and merciful, slow to anger, and of great compassion. Those things please Me. Above all it pleases Me to see My image in you, the reflection of the glory shining on My Son in you, and I am love. So imitate Me as My dear children and walk in love. And I have poured My love into your heart to enable you to do this and be this. Love, pure love like Mine is pleasing in My sight.
And it pleases Me to see you, My children, prospering in and in good health even as your soul prospers and your soul prospers when you know and walk in the truth. My Word is truth and it sanctifies and cleanses you. I know no greater joy than seeing you saved and walking in the truth.
It pleases Me when you witness to others and tell them of My goodness and My love as shown in Jesus. It pleases Me when you open to them the way of Salvation and the truth of the good news of Jesus and My Kingdom.
It pleases Me when you cast out demons and when you lay your hands on the sick so My healing power can flow in and through you by My Spirit, who dwells in you, to heal you and others.
It pleases Me when you do the works Jesus did and greater. It pleases Me that you join with Me to let Me work with and through you to bring My goodness, presence, and power into the earth realm.
But do you want to know what pleases Me the most of anything you do? Above all I desire your fellowship. Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks and if you hear His voice and open the door He will dine with you and you with Him and He and I are One.
And that is why I ask you to pray without ceasing. Constant fellowship is My delight and gives you the fullness of joy in My presence with all the mercy, grace, and help to always cause you to triumph as more than an conqueror.
Fellowship was the one thing I sought from Adam, everything else I gave him. Every day, I sought his fellowship. My desire from the beginning has been to dwell with you and be your God and you to be My people in an everlasting oneness called My everlasting Covenant of love.
I sought it with Adam, but he rejected Me. I sought it with all his descendants but none would open their heart to Me when I knocked but Enoch, Noah, and finally Abraham, who became My friend and confident. After him there was Isaac, then Jacob, and Jacob’s wife Leah was the first person who ever praised Me, then Joseph, and after Joseph, many years went by, and there was Moses, another friend, and then Joshua. After Joshua finally came Samuel, his mother Hannah being the first person who called Me LORD of Hosts, and then came the man after My own heart, David. David was the first one who ever said he loved Me though I had asked you to love Me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength as the greatest of the commandments. And since David there have been more and more that loved Me and sang to Me as he did.
I am still seeking fellowship and I have called you all into fellowship with My Son and through, in, and with Him to fellowship with Me eternally. Will you come and draw close to Me so I can draw close to you and share time together in the sweet fellowship of mutual love?
When you have Me you have everything. Why look elsewhere? Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me.
I love you. Come live with Me in My marvelous light and find peace in the place that you belong. Pour out your heart to Me for I have poured Mine into yours.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8.
And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5.
