But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Be on the alert at all times, be quick to take the advantage. Eternal life is intentional.
So Ahab sent a message among all the sons of Israel and brought the prophets together at Mount Carmel. Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” 1 Kings 18:20-21.
I offer you eternal life, and that life is in My Son, but to have it you must take it, you must actively receive it.
To have eternal life you must desire it. It is not obtained by default mode. To have it you must intentionally choose it. You must seek the Kingdom to have the Kingdom.
Purpose, power, prayer, perseverance, and patience are all intentional. Filling your heart and home with love, light, and laughter is intentional. To go about doing good is intentional.
Faith is intentional. Those who came to Jesus to be healed came very intentionally, focused on His power to heal. And those who got healed were not sluggish or passive about it, even to taking the roof off the house over where Jesus was and letting down the paralytic on a mat to get him in front of Jesus despite the crowd.
Faith motivates you. Like the woman with the issue of blood and the Syrophoenician woman with the possessed daughter. Neither one of them would give up until they got ahold of Jesus and had their miracles. And they got them.
I tell you to come boldly to My throne of grace to RECEIVE (take) mercy and FIND grace to help in time of need. That is intentional.
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. Matthew 11:12.
Jesus described doing no more than your duty as a useless slave. Joseph, the son of Jacob, though he should not have been a slave, due to the evil done to him by his brothers ended up as one for a season in his life. But he was an intentional slave in that he went beyond duty to excellence and sought to profit his master. And that promoted him to be a prosperous man even as a slave. Those who live intentionally stand out from the crowd. They go the extra mile.
I tell you to ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, and to knock and you shall enter—that is intentional living. You must know what you want, what you seek, and what you are looking for. No one receives the gift of eternal life without actively choosing it and seeking it.
You must know what you are looking for to find it. Without a vision people live unrestrained and perish. They wander and get into lust and sin. Prayer with Me in the secret place is the watchtower in which you see your vision, write it down and run with it. It will not tarry, though it seem to, if you just refuse to give up.
Jesus lived a very intentional life. He came to do My Will and nothing was able to sidetrack Him off the path I had planned for His life on earth. He refused to speak anything but My Words or to do anything that was not a work I showed Him to do. Consequently He accomplished great works and salvation for mankind in a very short time.
The best way to prepare for FOREVER is to live each day here on earth as if it were to be your last one before your departure to My heavenly Kingdom. And that would be intentional living. I can truly say you would avoid sin at all costs and watch every word you spoke and action you took if you knew Jesus would come to take your home tonight.
My question is, “Are you living intentionally or are you wandering aimlessly in the wilderness with no particular goal?” That was what caused the Israelites to perish.
Look back over what you did today or yesterday. Was it intentional living with your mind focused on eternal life? Or did you waste your day? A day spent in anger, bitterness, strife, offense, and unforgiveness whether in the workplace, at home, at school, or wherever you may be is a wasted day.
Let us talk about priorities.
Focus on what I tell you to do in My Word (the Bible) to be fruitful, to have an abundant life, and to inherit eternal life. And that is intentional living.
Do you want to live a life that has meaning and makes a difference like Joshua, or wander in the wilderness complaining and grumbling—being a burden to everyone including yourself as the generation of Israelites I redeemed out of slavery in Egypt did?
It is time to begin intentional living where you focus on each moment and make it count for eternity. You can. My Word tells you how. If you follow it you will arrive in your Promised Land.
Let Me share with you what Joshua, Caleb, David, Paul and so many others have learned and applied to live a wonderful, fruitful, abundant life that blessed every person on earth.
I gave the formula to Joshua and it has not changed. I am the same yesterday, today and forever and My Word is established forever in Heaven. The heavens and earth will pass away and be replaced with new heavens and earth when My Son returns but My Word will not pass. It remains forever the same—always giving life and health, always creating anew, always giving a harvest when planted and grown in your heart.
So what I said to Joshua, I now say to you in the Light of My Son: Just as I was and am with Jesus, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous; be careful to do according to all that Jesus My Son commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. My Word as recorded in the Bible shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:7-8.
And what does My Word tell you to do to make your life abundant and fruitful that you may live the life of good deeds that I have prepared for you in advance that you may walk in it?
It is not complicated. Moses put it this way: “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it? Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.”
And through My servant Paul, I put it this way: “But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7 or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
My Word is very available to you. I send it down like rain or snow to water your life and make it fertile and fruitful. I sow it into your heart like seed to produce a harvest. I give you My Word as your food, as your bread of life from Heaven in My Son.
I tell you My Will for you in Christ Jesus is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. And I tell you that if you are rejoicing you are to sing psalms of praise. James 5:13. Sing Me a new song and watch your life bloom. Prayer and praise were what David did to be protected, blessed, promoted, and fruitful. Songs of praise focus your attention on Me and off your problem. This will give you joy and wake the dawn in your darkness. Praise and thanksgiving are strong weapons against the devil and his demons who would steal, kill and destroy your life and your dreams.
I tell you so often in the New Covenant of grace to pray and to pray without ceasing. I tell you always to pray and not to faint. Prayer is constant fellowship with Me. Remember what I told the anxious and resentful Martha as Mary sat at My Son’s feet and listened to His Word? Luke 10:39. I told her that she was concerned and anxious about many things but that really only one thing was necessary for all the rest to flow in her life—and Mary had chosen the good part which would not be taken from her. Choose to spend time each day listening to My Word. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ. Romans 10:17. And the victory that overcomes the world is your faith. 1 John 5:4. And by overcoming the world, I mean all that would harm you or keep you from the abundant, blessed life.
The Word is crucial for your life and health. It is crucial for your prosperity, promotion and success. The one who meditates upon and directs his words and thoughts in accordance with My Words is like a tree planted near living water whose leaves never fade and who bears fruit in due season. Psalm 1:2-3. But the one who does not is like a barren bush in the desert or chaff in the wind. No fruit and no lasting value.
And you must focus on the good in your life and in My Son and all He did for you and give constant thanks to have joy, deliverance, victory and peace beyond understanding every time. Thanksgiving is the key to fruitfulness in your life. It brings multiplication of seed sown resulting in an abundant harvest. When you are thankful you value the things and people in your life. What you are thankful for you will keep and more besides. And when you are thankful you are not restless but at rest.
What you are not thankful for you will lose. Including your Promised Land.
You will notice before a great work of power, such as the multiplication of the loaves and fish and the raising of Lazarus, My Son first gave Me thanks.
I tell you to cast all your cares on Me because I care for you. I tell you to refer everything in your life to Me in prayer and petition with thanksgiving and My peace, a peace beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Focus your attention on what is lovely, true and excellent and thanksgiving will follow. Have an attitude of gratitude and your fear and worry will leave. Begin thanking Me for always providing for your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus before you see the abundance and it will chase you down and pour into your heart first and then your life. Healing will also come that way. Be so grateful that My Son has born all your ills, pains, diseases and sins. Thank Me for that before you see it manifest in your body and it will come to pass just as you say. Speak with intention to bless yourself and those around you with My promises and you shall see what you say come to pass. I watch over My Word to perform it and I love a cheerful giver.
I tell you that if you wish to enter the Kingdom of Heaven you must turn and become as a little child. And I send Jesus as a little child to lead you. And what is it about a little child that opens Heaven’s riches to you? A child is dependent upon his father and looks to him without shame and with complete confidence for everything. That is the way you must be with Me. Do not lean on your own understanding and abilities, that will stress you out, but lean on Mine and I will provide for all you need and direct your paths. Do not worry about tomorrow, little children do not, live the joy of today and let Me take care of your tomorrows. Prepare for them with joyful anticipation knowing I will bring your dreams to pass as you prepare yourself to accomplish them. When I open a door to you run through it. Do not be like the Israelites who refused to enter when I opened the Promised Land to them. They went back out in the desert and wandered there. Continually they spoke about returning to the life of slavery they left rather than ever entering into their glorious future. Little children look forward, not back, and hearts full of trust, they do not fear lack.
Be attached to the vine, which is My Son, and you will be a fruitful branch. The more time you spend looking at Jesus, the more My Spirit will transform you to be like Him from glory to glory. Do not look so hard at yourself. If you are in Christ Jesus, as He is so are you in this world. He is now your true identity before Me. Rest in His finished work and be blessed beyond measure.
And just like a branch trying to produce fruit without being attached to the vine, so you too can do nothing without Me. But with Me you can do all things. Nothing is impossible for Me and all things are possible for those who believe. You can do all things through My Son who strengthens you. Ask Me for wisdom and I will give it to you generously, as I did to Solomon, but ask without doubting so that you can receive.
Be very careful what you say and the thoughts you permit to stay in your mind and that you dwell upon. Start monitoring your speech and thoughts intentionally so that you put them to work for you to improve your life and bring about the results you desire to see manifest. My Son told you that you will be judged for every idle word you speak. By your words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned. Not by My Words but by yours. I told the grumbling, fearful Israelites that they would have what they said. And what they said was very different from what I said and had told them they would have in their lives. So you see in your own life what you say has more power to determine what the outcome of your life is than what My Will is for you. For My plans for you are for your shalom (your complete wholeness, abundance and peace in every area of your life—total well-being) and not your destruction or woe, a future filled with hope (confident, joyful expectation of good). Jeremiah 29:11. But you can stop that with the words of your own mouth if you do not intentionally line up your words with Mine.
And My Son gave you one commandment: Love one another as He loves you. Let Me pour My love into your heart by My gift to you of the Holy Spirit and you will love as My Son loves you. His love will empower you to love. His love will pour out into the world after filling your own heart until it overflows. Love never fails. And love is fruitful. Love builds up. Love speaks to impart grace to those who hear. Be very careful what you say. Be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.
Come confidently with joy into My presence. Enter My gates with thanksgiving and you have the key to the Holy of Holies. Prayer, praise and thanksgiving open the windows of Heaven.
And My Son once told you the work of God is to have faith in My Son whom I sent. Have faith in My Word made flesh and you will be on your way to the reign of God in your life. Kingdom living.
And I tell you to speak to your mountains to move them into the sea and out of your path. I tell you to ask for good things believing that you have received them when you ask. Do you thank Me before you see it? I tell you to do that. Make your words line up with Mine and you will see great and mighty things.
I tell you to rebuke illness, fevers, and storms as Jesus did. Do you? Make your words intentional to work for you. Do not declare the problem, it will only get worse, but instead, declare the solution. Tell the end you want from the beginning. I do that.
And cast out demons in the Name of Jesus. I have given you His Name and His authority. Use it. That is intentional living.
Come to Jesus and He will refresh you. Learn from Him for He is gentle and humble of heart and your souls will find rest, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. If you are bearing heavy burdens you are not doing My Will—you are not casting your cares on Me but on yourself and you can do nothing that is fruitful or has lasting value without Me.
To sum up what I am telling you: connect and expect. Attach to the vine by remaining in My Word and letting My Word remain in you. Think on it and speak it constantly. You will not be disappointed. Live the joyful life of trust. Walk by faith and not by sight. Believe and speak.
Take time to get aside with Me in times of prayer and praise and let Me show you how to organize your day aright that you may gain wisdom of heart. Do not wander but live intentionally. Do not speak idle words—use your words to work for you and frame your world. Speak only My Words of healing, prosperity, joy, thanksgiving, victory and praise. And watch your life change from a desert to a Garden of Eden.
My Words are imperishable seeds that once planted in your heart and cultivated each day produce an abundant harvest. And you know not how. But it will surely come if you are faithful in guarding and growing My Word in you and pulling out all the idle weeds and thorns that would hinder your harvest.
And I would like to add another thought. Giving is always intentional. Tithing is very intentional, you must keep track of all that comes in and determine the ten percent and make sure you give it to My house and works of the ministry. Offerings are also intentional. I so loved the world I gave My only begotten Son to you so that all who believe in Him will never perish but have eternal life. I planned that and performed it very intentionally. And I did it with YOU in mind. I planned and created you intentionally. You are here because I wanted you.
I love you. Redeem the time with Me. Live intentionally focused on each moment of love rather than wandering aimlessly around the same mountain in the desert for forty years or more and you will be living for eternity. Well done, good and faithful servant, come share your Master’s joy.
