How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. Psalm 119:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Live pure. Pure down to the core of your being, and that is where the rest and the peace will come with your spirit, soul, and body operating together as one with Me.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
This is so important. Your spirit must be in control of your mind, will, and emotions, and not your flesh. The flesh is the mindset of the world, it is selfish, gluttonous, argumentative, always grumbling and complaining, emotionally unstable, rebellious, wants to take control, revengeful, easily offended, proud, judgmental, quick to believe an evil report and repeat it, greedy, sensual, fault finding, unfaithful, critical, negative, and looks outward for gratification rather than inward. You will be much happier free of such things. Don’t let the world enslave you. Do not conform to it. Instead be transformed from glory to glory by the renewal of your mind.
Now listen to Me and be attentive to My Words. I can purify you and set you apart to enjoy your life with full authority over your mind, will, and emotions, and your body as well, but it takes the desire to be free and the willingness to work out what I work in you for this to happen. Bottom line is you have to learn how to control what you are thinking about constantly and put a watch over your mouth.
So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for good. Philippians 2:12-13.
My question to you is: Do you want to live pure and shake off the dust, rise up, and loose yourself from the chains around your neck by the anointing? Isaiah 52:2. Or do you want to stay in captivity and return to slavery each time the way out is challenging? That is why the generation of Israelites I redeemed from slavery in Egypt never entered the rest of the Promised Land.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12.
You are in the world, but you are not of the world. You have been born again from above into another Kingdom that is not here. You are ambassadors on earth and citizens of another Kingdom, a Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
You will be much happier if you live pure, setting your mind above with Christ at My right hand, and not down in the dirt where the devil crawls where many have set their minds to their disaster. Flesh begets flesh, and Spirit begets spirit. If you sow to the flesh, you reap corruption. Think about the condition, especially as they get into their elder years if they last that long, of a glutton, a drunkard, a drug addict, a bitter and constantly complaining individual filled with hate and emotional distress, living like this takes its toll. Such lifestyles corrupt the once wonderful bodies and minds that I gave them to use for good and not evil, and cuts their life short in respect to its functionability and fruitfulness. They turn into a piece of carnage that the vultures gather around as they drain others needing to have their bodies housed and constantly cared for by others.
But if instead you sow to the spirit, you reap life, eternal life, and peace beyond understanding. And that is living pure. Sowing to the spirit by joining with My Spirit. For purity comes in living the truth. You are sanctified by truth. My Word is truth. A pure heart comes from becoming a new creation in Christ by receiving Jesus as Lord and then feeding your spirit and your soul with My Word so that, partaking in My divine life, which is grace, you are transformed and set free to a live in newness of life filled with glory and the beauty of holiness.
You have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. . . Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow [g]in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. 1 Peter 1:23; 1 Peter 2:1-3.
Deep calls unto deep. Purity is a deep work that starts in the heart but does not stay there. Purity in the heart will radiate out to the soul and to the flesh.
What does it mean to live pure? Essentially it means to live free of the things that encumber your path to your high calling in Christ, the path of glory. It is those thoughts, words, actions, and relationships that take you into darkness rather than light and hold you in bondage to idle, or even evil, things and emotions, that waste your time, drain your emotions, and give you imaginations that are perverted, fearful and ominous. Any unforgiveness and bitter roots will be a barrier to living pure in your heart, as well as a barrier to receiving My Covenant benefits, not that I withhold them but the door to your heart is shut so tightly, entwined by bitter roots, that I cannot get anything in. All the blessings and miracles you pray for are right there granted but sitting outside you tightly shut heart.
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19.
To put it simply a worldly life is lived according to the devilish cunning and perversion of the world rather than the wisdom from on High, which is My Word.
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and strife exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the [n]seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:13-18.
A pure life is a happy, open, and blessed life that willingly comes into the light. You have nothing to hide, down to your very core. Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see Me.
Though many of you are living a life of faith and loving Me, you are not living pure. This may surprise you, as it did the Pharisees and many of the people I redeemed out of the slavery of Egypt, which parallels being set free today of the slavery to sin and death by being born again from above. Of what am I speaking? Grumbling, complaining, divisions and factions with other believers, gossiping, negative words, offensive and rude speech, bitter roots, unforgiveness, and I could go on. Do you think I am deaf to these things? Or do you think I am like you in this? I am not.
“What right have you to tell of My statutes and to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, and you cast My Words behind you. When you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you associate with adulterers. You let your mouth loose in evil and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done and I kept silence; you thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes.” Psalm 50:16-21.
But now, I want to talk with you in a way I think will help you. You are not working to be pure, you already are in Christ, you are just going to walk out what you are within.
And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:21-22.
Once you received Jesus as your Lord, He empowered you to become My child. He released you from your sins by His blood and you were regenerated by the Holy Spirit by the Word spoken in truth that birthed you and implanted in your heart giving you eternal life. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit within your spirit and you are holy. You are a new creation in Christ within your spirit, the inner man of the heart. This is tremendous. You are no longer under condemnation but emancipation. You are free. You are with Me forever.
But, I want you to walk in a way worthy of the calling you have received. I have called you to My Kingdom and glory and fully equipped you in Christ to live accordingly. I gave you Jesus so you can live your life through Him, drawing on His merits, strength, purity and love. I have anointed and appointed you. I have given you the mind of Christ, of the anointed one. I have purified you in the blood, the water and the Spirit, it is time you spoke the truth in love and walked in the authority of who you are in truth. Just know that you are holy, blameless and beyond reproach within and so you are to be in the world. As Jesus is so are you in this world—holy, sanctified and set apart. I have sealed you in Christ by the Holy Spirit and made Him to be wisdom unto you, and righteousness, sanctification and redemption. YOU ARE PURE so think and act in accordance with who you are.
How do you do that? You say it. You get faith in your heart that I have made you pure and each day if impure, bitter, angry, critical, negative, fearful, anxious, and unholy thoughts approach you and try to get your attention and take over your mind, you tell them, “Oh no you don’t! You will not lodge in me. I am pure and I am holy by God’s doing in Christ.” And keep telling yourself that you are pure. And you are. You are holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me. I put all your sins and impurities, all your filthiness on Christ, and gave you His righteousness, holiness, purity and perfection.
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3.
And there again is the secret. You keep gazing upon Jesus, which is gazing upon My Word, and you become like Him in thought, word, and deed. Pure. And know I am present to help you, I have sent you the Holy Spirit! He will guide you to all truth, and you are sanctified by truth, and My Word is truth. Jesus would only speak in agreement with My Words and do in accordance with My Works and that kept Him pure.
Treasure My Word in your heart and you will not sin. But you must keep speaking it. What I told Joshua still holds so I do not know why so many people are asking Me for the answer of how to be pure, victorious, prosperous, healed and blessed, when I have already blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven and have given you the instructions, in more places than one in the Bible, of how to bring it into your everyday life.
“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8.
My Word has not changed. You can rely on My Word, yesterday, today and forever.
Live according to My Word and you will live pure, you will be happy, and you will see signs, wonders, and miracles by My Word of POWER. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. And you do not have to look far to find them if you have a phone or a computer. Even in places where the government leaders have barred My Word, those who are interested are able to find My Word on the internet, airwaves, radio waves, and I could go on.
I love you. Live pure, keep your mind uncluttered with thoughts that make you hate, make you mad, depress you, and put fear in you. Those are not from Me and they are not who you are in Christ. Cast them out and cast all your care on Me with joy. Learn who you are and never return to the old you again. You are pure. You are happy. You have peace. You are new. Say all those right now and thank Me because I have given you all those things in Christ and more. Seek My Kingdom and My way of righteousness and all else will be added. And tithe so I can open the windows (floodgates) of heaven for you and rebuke the devourer. If you tithe and give offerings no scammer will get your goods. Be sure you are always listening to Me. My sheep know My voice and they follow Me.
