Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted. When they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments so that nothing will be lost.” So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. John 6:11-13.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Bread from Heaven, the concept was not new to the Israelites. For forty years a heavenly substance fell to the earth on the dew fall every morning in just the right amount to feed over two million people and sustain them in perfect health. And that gift from above, from Me the Father of lights, never failed even once. It was not earned, there was no toil to raise it, they only had to go and gather it each day and a double portion on the morning preceding Shabbat so that they rested on that day and did not have to gather it.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:16-17.

And when I promised the complaining Israelites that I would rain down bread from heaven for them every morning, I told Moses and Aaron that in the morning they would see My glory. Exodus 16:7. And it came about as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, My glory appeared in the cloud. Exodus 16:10. And this was the first time My glory is referenced in the Bible. And My glory shone forth in connection with the promise of the bread of Heaven. A shadow of the true heavenly substance that was to come in Christ, the bread not only of perfect physical nourishment but of eternal life. The bread of the covenant of the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory. Spirit and not flesh food. The New Covenant meal joining you with Jesus forever, and in Him joining you into His Covenant with Me. And every time you speak those words of consecration as My royal priesthood with your great High Priest, the hovering Holy Spirit changes the substance of the ordinary bread and wine to the heavenly substance of the bread come down from Heaven for a man to eat and never die.

So the journey of the revelation began in the journey of the Israelites redeemed from slavery across the wilderness to the promised land as the food that sustained them until they entered the promised land of abundant rest. And they were all people in Covenant with Me as descendants of Abraham, and then personally entered Covenant with Me with Moses. The children’s healing bread, as it is to this day, realized once for all in Jesus for those who are My children by receiving Him.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:12-14.

Glory appeared in Christ, the true bread from Heaven. My glory announced it in the wilderness, My glory shone in the skies of Bethlehem (“Bethlehem” means “House of Bread” in Hebrew) at His birth, and My glory shone in Him and He has shared His glory with you in the fruit of the tree of life.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

And that glory transforms you from glory to glory.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18.

So now let us turn to the conversation that resulted in multiplication that led to revelation and eventually to culmination in transubstantiation. This conversation so impressed the disciples that all four gospels recount the multiplication of the loaves and the fish, but only My beloved John tells of the conversation that developed later with that well fed crowd that caused many of His followers to stop following.

Jesus had sent the disciples (now called apostles) out two by two to preach, teach, and heal, and they had come back excited with the success of their mission. The news also reached them of the beheading of John by Herod. So it was a mixture of joy and sadness, plus they were tired from their journeys and preaching. So Jesus said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while.” (For there were many  coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) Jesus and the disciples then went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves.

However, the crowd saw them going, and many recognized Jesus, because they saw the signs which He was performing on those who were sick, and ran there together on foot, gathering others from all the cities, and got there ahead of them by going around the shoreline.

When Jesus and the disciples got to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (or Tiberias), when they went ashore, they saw a large crowd there waiting with great anticipation for Him, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things, speaking to them about My kingdom, and curing those who had need of healing.

When it was already quite late, His disciples came to Him and said, “This place is desolate and it is already quite late; send them away so that they may go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.” But Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these may eat?” This He was saying to test him, for He Himself knew what He was intending to do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, for everyone to receive a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?” And Jesus said, “Bring them here to Me.” Wondering what was going to happen, but remembering the catch of fish that took place when they left their boats and followed Jesus, he did as he was told.

All the disciples could see was lack. But Jesus did not see that. He remembered the Manna. He remembered the multiplication of the loaves for the prophet Elisha. And He remembered the wine at the wedding feast in Cana.

Now a man came from Baal-shalishah, and brought the man of God (Elisha) bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said, “Give them to the people that they may eat.” His attendant said, “What, will I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the LORD, ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’” So he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD. 2 Kings 4:42-44.

So Jesus told the surprised disciples, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. It was springtime and the Passover was near. So the crowd sat down, just the men alone numbered about five thousand, not counting the women and children. They sat down in groups of hundreds and of fifties. The disciples and all the people had their eyes on Jesus to see what He was going to do. And the hungry crowd, that had been so hungry to hear Jesus and be healed that they had refused to leave all day, were not disappointed.

Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish into His hands, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed them and gave thanks.

Stop here one moment. Do you see what Jesus was doing? He told Andrew to bring the five loaves and two fish to Him, and holding them in His hands up to Me, He blessed them and He gave thanks for them. He had been speaking of the Kingdom to the crowd and now He demonstrated it. He had transferred the bread and the fish from the curse filled world of toil and labor, to the Kingdom where all is added to you without painful toil, just as He had done when He preached from Peter’s boat for His ministry and directed him to lower his nets for a catch. Jesus went about preaching the good news of the Kingdom. You can be in the world but not of the world. I blessed man to be fruitful and increase from the start. In blessing I will bless you and in increasing I will multiply you.

And a miracle of cloning and replication took place before their eyes.

He broke the loaves and He kept giving them to the disciples to distribute to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish, as much as they wanted. They all ate and were satisfied and when they could eat no more, Jesus said to His disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments so that nothing will be lost.” So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves and also of the fish, which were left over by those who had eaten.

Jesus told them to gather up the leftover fragments so nothing will be lost. In your own life, there are fragments you need to gather up so that nothing is lost. Dreams, hopes, songs, relationships with family and friends, and other things that once were your dreams and projects but then when it seemed they went nowhere you abandoned them, these are leftover fragments. It is time to gather those together again.

And many feel that their lives are nothing but broken fragments, but remember, it is gathered up fragments with which an artist can make a beautiful mosaic. Raise up your fragments in your hands and ask Me to bless them and thank Me for them, and I will make them into the beautiful mosaic of your life. Remember that the beautiful designs of the kaleidoscope are made from fragments, broken fragments, that when held up to the light and rearranged fragments make beautiful images of splendor. Jesus is the Light of the world so bring Him all the pieces of your life and let His light shine through you.

So what do you see and learn in this miracle? When there is a need, look and see what you have. Do not discount it because it is not enough to meet the need of the moment. Sow what you have into the miracle. That is what the lad did here. He gave Jesus his five loaves and two fish even though that was all he had and it may have meant him going hungry. The widow did the same with her bit of flour and oil when Elijah asked it from her and it multiplied for over a year to feed Elijah and her entire household.

And then you lift up in thanksgiving what you have and bless it. That is what Jesus did with the bread and fish to transfer them to the Kingdom. He looked up to Heaven (lift your eyes to Me and do not just focus what is below, get My perspective, for nothing is impossible for Me), then He blessed what He had and thanked Me for it, but His eyes were on Me and not just what he actually had in his hand at that moment. And the Blessing of the LORD makes rich and adds no sorrowful toil with it. Proverbs 10:22.

Cast your cares on Me and do not worry. Jesus was not worried because He knew Me. He knew I knew of the hunger of the people, why they were out there, and I had compassion for them.

I can fill all your needs even when there is no way in the natural they can be filled. I am not limited to nor trapped in the physical realm, and neither are you. I sent birds to Elijah to fly in bread and meat  every morning and evening, then I sent him to a widow with a jar with a little flour in it and a jug with a little oil in it, and made it have more than enough for them to eat for over a year, and I had made the oil pour where there was only a tiny amount to fill as many containers as the woman had borrowed to pay off all her debts at Elisha’s direction. Hope does not disappoint when it is based on My Word and I have directed you to do what you are doing. Both Elijah, the widow, Elisha, and the widow of his time acted in obedience to My Word and they had miracles of provision. And so can you if you do the same.

And this miracle of cloning and replication brought exponential multiplication. Scientists today are fascinated by the way I have replication of DNA set up so that one cell produces two “daughter” cells with the same DNA strands. And cloning has fascinated them as well. But no one can make it flow like I can so that micro-organisms can reproduce themselves. Things without spirits this is workable but be careful in messing with human beings for it is I who form each of you in your mother’s womb and breathe the spirit into you. Never do it with a human being, it can only end in demonic results.

But when I cloned and replicated the five loaves and two fish, I improved their composition into perfect fresh bread full of nutrients beyond the normal and the fish into perfect pure fish. I can rearrange and change what is on earth or I can augment it from Heaven, like the Manna, which was etirely from Heaven. Nothing is too wonderful for Me. I have all the supplies and I give them to you.

The bread satisfied the crowd completely. So much so in fact, they wanted to make Jesus king right then and there so they could have that bread always! But He slipped away to the mountain alone and the disciples got in the boat at His direction to go to the other side. And that will be the prelude to the next miracle when Jesus goes walking on the water to catch up with the boat.

This miracle of multiplication demonstrates provision, power, and providence. Provision supplies the need of the moment by faith. Power here is dominion over the elements of creation (rule over the works of My hands). Providence whereby I provide guidance, provision, and the ordering of events for your benefit for your entire life. I provide for all your needs according to My riches in Christ Jesus in glory. Trust that. Seek the Kingdom first and all is added to you. That day the people were seeking the Kingdom and Jesus was teaching them about it. Selah.

I love you. Be intensely grateful and you will live an intensely joyful life. Have no anxiety about anything, the Kingdom of Heaven is very near you. It is within you. Why don’t you come to see Me at the throne of grace more often? I already seated you there in Christ, take advantage of that.
