“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

My specialty is to bless and not to curse, to set the captives free. I can turn what men meant to curse you around and leave you with a blessing instead, like I did with Balaam, son of Beor, in the case of the Israelites in the desert, Numbers 23:19-23, and with Shimei in the case of David. 2 Samuel 16:12.

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 54:17.

Not revenge, vindication, not malice, but righteousness.

God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity. Psalm 68:6.

And remember the woman with the spirit of infirmity that made it impossible for her to stand up straight for eighteen years? One command and Jesus set her free. That is blessing, to set free those oppressed by Satan their whole life long.

“And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16.

In Christ I have turned around the curse Adam brought to the earth into a blessing.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and you are to do the works He did and greater. And that is walking with Me in love. That is imitating Me as My dear children as Jesus did, for in seeing Him you see Me. That is imitation to its uttermost. And Jesus saves you to the uttermost as well. When people see you, they should be seeing Me for I am in you by My Spirit. Remember love does not have an ugly face. My face shines on you and you shine back, for I light your lamp with the Spirit. Jesus baptized you in the Holy Spirit and fire. The fire of love.

Know that in Christ you are blessed. And you qualify for that for only one reason, you have faith in Him, which is faith in Me, for we are one, but you only come to Me through My Son. He took down the barrier of sin and nailed it to the cross, your judgment is paid in full and your sentence of going to dust is satisfied. Jesus tasted the dust of death for you all. You no longer have to taste it. He tasted death for everyone. But to enjoy My gift to you in Jesus you must receive that gift. No gift is complete until the donee receives it. The wisest thing you can do is to receive Him by faith as your Lord who has taken away all your sins, ills, lack, pain, and shame.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13.

In Him you are blessed because of what He did, not because of what you did. I took the sins and guilt out of your hands and put them in His hands, and He then put the victory back in your hands.

Let Me start at the beginning. When I created the first man and woman, I blessed them. Genesis 5:2. I gave them the BLESSING. And after the flood, I gave it again to Noah. Genesis 9:1. And then I gave it to Abraham and his descendants. Genesis 12:1-3. And in Christ I gave it to all who believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord. Galatians 3:13-14.

And how do you receive the blessing? The same way Abraham did. By faith. Galatians 3:14. My Blessing makes rich and I add no painful labor with it. Proverbs 10:22. And the word used there in the original Hebrew is etseb, which is first used to describe the pain Eve would experience in the labor of child birth after the fall.

But I did not want you to ever be without My Blessing. In seeing Jesus you see Me, and Jesus took the children into His arms and blessed them. And do you recall what Jesus did as He left His disciples to ascend into Heaven? He blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. Luke 24:51.

And when He was born into the world according to the flesh in Bethlehem, the angel said to the shepherds in the surrounding fields that night He was born, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good to men, with whom He is pleased.” Luke 2:10-14.

The good news is that in Jesus I am well pleased in YOU. I can shower you with the Blessing I so long to give to you because there is no hindrance now that Jesus has removed your sins. In Him, I have put your sins away from you as far as the east is from the west so that you can be freely blessed. And that is why My servant Paul, by inspiration of the Spirit, wrote to you, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.” Ephesians 1:3-4.

Every blessing is yours, in Christ Jesus all of My magnificent promises, as many as they be, are “yes” to you. 2 Corinthians 1:30.

In Christ, you are My little flock to whom I am pleased to give My Kingdom. I told the prophet Ezekiel that I Myself would shepherd My flock and take them to green pastures on My holy hill. And I would make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I would cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26.

I give you a summary of the Blessing in Deuteronomy 28. I gave it to My servant Moses. I also gave him the definition of the curse, but Jesus has redeemed you from the curse. In Jesus I turned the curse into a blessing for you. Paul cried out in amazement at the revelation: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14.

Faith. That is what you need to connect with the Blessing that I have spoken over you from the start and reaffirmed and made new in Jesus. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction. I send My Word to bless you. And Jesus is My Word among you. And what did He do? Blessed you beyond all you can ask or imagine. To you, He opened the windows, gates and doors of Heaven and poured out the Blessing, all the benefits of Psalm 103.

Listen to the definition of the Blessing as spoken by Moses: “Now it shall be, if you diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to the voice of the LORD your God: Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

And these are all yours. My Blessing is on the head of the righteous, and you are righteous in Jesus. He is also your head as the Body of Christ. Your great High Priest, and His anointing is on you. Blessing forever. “It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever.” Psalm 133:2-3.

Jesus kept all My commandments and you who believe are in Him. He has won the Blessing for you. In the New Covenant He is your representative before Me and you enter into the New Covenant by being in Him as His Body. And He told you to keep His commandment. And what is His commandment? Love one another as He has loved you. Love does not harm the neighbor. Love is who I am and love is who you are. Be your true self and walk in love. Imitate Me as My dear children. Love brings the Blessing. My Love and your love.

Do you love My Son? Then you will keep His Words, which are My Words, and you will be Blessed beyond all you can ask or imagine. But remember, you must give to receive. You are blessed to be a blessing.

But now let us look at walking in love, which is walking in blessing! Giving and receiving, receiving and giving, as a never ending flow. I am love, which means I think in love, I talk in love, I walk in love, everything else is foreign to Me and cannot enter Me. When I come, blessing comes. And it should be the same with you. Make sure you are speaking blessing and not cursing for life and death is in the power of your tongue and you shall eat the fruit thereof. Make sure it is the fruit of the Spirit and not the works of the flesh.

Love’s specialty is to bless and not to curse, to set the captives free. Receive that freely and share it freely. I have given you My Words and My Power, what are you doing with it? Line up your mouth with blessing and never curse anything again. It is not wise.

Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the LORD, you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20.

I blessed Abraham to be a blessing and you have the blessing of Abraham on you. What you have freely received, freely give. And the more you give the more you receive, if you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully. Don’t be stingy with blessing because it will come back to bless you as well.

I love you. I bless you. Do you bless Me? Like David, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all my being bless His Holy Name.” Psalm 103:1. And forget not all My benefits. Begin to declare yourself “blessed beyond measure.” And watch it come to pass. Practice saying, as you depart your home, “I am blessed as I go out and as I come in. I am blessed, I am loved, and I am a blessing.” Cast your cares on Me because I care for you and it will always be a BLESSING, for the beginning to the end of time and onward through eternity, all is BLESSING.

I will make them and the places around My mountain a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26.
