We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 1 John 4:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You were made by love, for love, in love, and with love. Love is your source and you will not truly be alive without abiding in My love. A life without love is not true life. The one who does not love does not know Me, for I am love. The life I have put in you is love. You can try to quench that fire within you as Adam did, but the embers of that love are ready to ignite.
Remember the disciples on the Road to Emmaus? Their hearts were cold and dark, thinking Jesus’ death ended all the glory they had with Him as He walked the earth and talked of the Kingdom, healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, stopped storms, and gave new life to those oppressed by the devil. And He had shared that authority with them. But now they thought it gone, tucked away in a bloody mangled body in a tomb. But then they heard the women saying they had seen Him. But they did not believe it. Then suddenly along came Jesus, risen from the dead, but I restrained their eyes from recognizing Him immediately. Why? I wanted them first to see Him in the Word and watch His shadow across the ages become the substance of the Risen Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. I had provided the sacrifice for your redemption and justification and I had foretold it from the beginning. I wanted them to see the absolute accuracy, truth, and dependability of My Word so they would never waiver again as they were doing that day in wondering if He were the Messiah they had all been waiting for.
You can trust My Word, it is absolutely accurate.
“I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” Isaiah 46:9-10.
The Bible is the only book that writes history before it happens as if an eyewitness account. Just read Psalm 22, written one thousand years before it happened, and Isaiah 53, written eight hundred years before it happened.
So as Jesus walked along with them and showed them all the Scriptures in the books of Moses (the first five of the Bible, Torah), the books of the prophets, and the writings (such as Psalms, Song of Songs, Proverbs, etc.) that referred to every detail of His life spoken before they occurred in time, the embers in their hearts were set ablaze. Why? Their spirits were being fed the Word and it revived them.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your Word has revived me. Psalm 119:50.
You see here how to enliven a cold, fearful heart, just begin looking at the promises in My Word that are fulfilled and yes to you in Jesus and love will light your lamp in hope. And hope does not disappoint.
As their hearts started to burn, they persuaded Him to stay with them to partake of a meal. They heard His voice and opened their hearts and He came in to dine with them and they with Him. And He fed them with the Bread from Heaven for a man to eat and never die.
When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:30-32.
They came to know Him with love ignited by walking with Him who is love in love. And that is the same way you know Him now, by My Words about Him and by the Covenant meal which is His body and His blood given for you.
Walking in love is simple when you are walking with Jesus, your good Shepherd, your great High Priest, your Savior and your Lamb of Sacrifice. And when walking with Him, you are walking with Me. We are One. We shepherd you together as One with the Holy Spirit to lead you and witness with your spirit as One with us as well.
Walking in love is being so immersed in Me as your source that your life is in the flow of the milk and honey of the promised land. And this does not make you so you are not able to function with excellence in any walk of life I assign you to. David lived in My love but he ruled a nation with an excellence that no other king has come even close to and yet he never was trained to run a government, but I set him there to shepherd My people Israel and he understood how to be a good shepherd and he knew how to consult Me and encourage himself in Me. And he did it by My Word. He loved My Word and had a profound respect for it. Just read Psalm 19.
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11.
And that is all you need to be successful—to know Me by My Word, My Spirit, and by the Love that I shower and pour upon you day by day. To hear My Word during the day and My songs in the night.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, has spoken, and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Psalm 50:1.
“But no one says, ‘Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night, who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?’” Job 35:10-11.
Walking in love is living in Me as your source of all during the day and the night. I sustain you and instruct you in the way you should go with My eyes continually upon you. Be aware of all the beautiful and new things I am showing you about Me every day. Look for your desires fulfilled, your every wish brought to your door, and the question that was in your heart answered. I do this for you who love Me all day every day and more. Do not be so blind that you are too busy to notice, just saying how stressed you are by all the wonderful things I show you and give you to do. Enjoy them, do not make them a drudgery but what they truly are, opportunities to shine. Amaze everyone with the answers I give you when everyone else is at a loss of how to make it all work out good for everyone concerned. You can if you will but listen to hear what I am saying.
Walking in love is listening for My voice in every moment of your life now and forever and then running with Me in what I show you, or better yet, soaring with Me on the wings of the wind of the Spirit. Without love there is nothing good, with love everything is wonderful.
For a child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.
But the Messenger of the LORD said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?” Judges 13:18.
Nothing is too wonderful for Me. Nothing is too hard for Me. Nothing is impossible to Me. I am the God who works wonders. And nothing is impossible for those that believe that.
One Word from Me can open up your destiny and that one word is LOVE, for as you follow Me, directed you will be along the pathway of your life. And all the roads I direct you on lead to LOVE eternal, safe in My everlasting arms. Let My Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.
