Lord (Adonai), You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

David sang that goodness and kindness pursued him (overtook and overwhelmed him) all that days of his life and he would dwell in My house forever. Psalm 23:6. And that is entirely true when you are being led by the good Shepherd who gave His life for the sheep.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.

Eternal life makes your dwelling with Me secure forever, there is no snatching out of My hand, forever in Me, in the Kingdom in perfect protection and provision. The good news is that you can make Me your dwelling place, your secret place, where no harm can touch you even now in the peril of this world where the devil’s sublease from Adam is not quite up.

For you have made the LORD, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. Psalm 91:9-10.

How do you make Me your dwelling place where we can visit constantly even now? It all begins with a desire. What am I talking about? You must want to dwell with Me, you must desire My company. You must be interested in pursuing a relationship with Me and you must draw close to Me. When you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you and when you draw close to Me I draw close to you. When you hear My voice and open your heart to Me, I come in and dine with you and you with Me.

O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. Psalm 63:1-3.

When John the Baptist pointed Jesus out as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, Andrew and John wanted to pursue knowing My Son. They started following after Him to strike up a conversation. And He turned and asked them what they were seeking. And they asked Him where He was dwelling. And He invited them in. And that was the beginning of three glorious years of living in His presence.

It all starts with seeking and wanting to know Me. And finally it rests on your love for Me, as does any true relationship that lasts.

“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him and who him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16.

And then there are five things that establish you safely in the secret place of the indwelling but all rest on the foundation of one thing: My Word. It is only if you keep My Word that Satan can find no place in you and that you abide in Me. You abide in My when My Word abides in you and you abide in My Word. And it is being born again by the imperishable seed of My Word that is the birth canal into eternal life and making your dwelling in and with Me.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:23-24.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:3-7.

Here are the five and they are reciprocals of what I am doing for you:

  1. Be mindful of Me in all your ways for I am mindful of you.

What does it mean to be “mindful” of someone or something? It means your mind is full of them—their Words, their works, what they want you to do, and how you can best serve them. You are mindful of your children, of your treasured possessions, of your purse or wallet when you are out and about—things you keep an eye on to make sure they are with you and are not easily taken away. Keep your attention towards Me in everything you do so that we have constant connection. This will give you direction, warning, discernment, and lead you in perfection.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He is gracious to us. Psalm 123:2.

I tell you to keep your eyes on Jesus as you run the race of your life and He is My Word, and when My Word remains in you and you in My Word, you abide in Him like a branch attached to a vine. Be mindful of My Word which is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet.

And I never ask you to do anything that I do not do as well. I am mindful of you. My eyes are constantly upon you.

You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield.  The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.  He will bless those who fear the LORD, the small together with the great. Psalm 115:11-13.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Psalm 32:8.

Are not two sparrows sold for a [a]cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31.

  1. Rejoice in Me for I rejoice in you.

“Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous.” What are you rejoicing about? You know My Covenant Names and promises and they are yours in Christ. You know and rest in that you have the answers that save you and that it pleases and honors Me that you call on Me for help.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. Psalm 50:15.

Rejoice in Me that you have a healer when sickness tries to take up an abode in you, you have a provider when supplies look low, you have the One who has all the answers dwelling in you when a problem comes that for man is impossible to resolve but not for you with Me.

I rejoice over you.

Then the LORD your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers. Deuteronomy 30:9.

“The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will quiet you in His love, He will rejoice over you with songs and shouts of joy.” Zephaniah 3:17.

  1. Pray without ceasing for I am always speaking to you.

In the secret place of the steep pathway, let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice; for your voice to Me is sweet and you are lovely. Song of Songs 2:14.

Prayer is our connection, it is how we fellowship. Talking with Me and listening to Me is how you get answers and are mindful of Me. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, tell Me all you need and desire in prayer and I will take care of it and of you in all ways. But this is fellowship, partnership, and mutual honor and love. It is not one sided where you alone do the talking and demanding or vice versa. Cast your cares on Me because I care for you. Pour out you heart to Me and then let Me pour out My heart to you. Let Me share the plans and dreams I have for your life with you. You will find that when I am in fellowship with you, it is all about you. You are the apple of My eye and I am very excited about the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance that you might enjoy it. And I love it when you love My plans and are excited to walk them out with Me. I have them all written out for you before I even formed you in your mother’s womb. You are very important to Me.

I invite you to come and rest with Me in prayer and I will teach you things you need to know to have a joyful burden-free life:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

  1. Give constant thanks for I give constant thanks for you.

Some people never give thanks, like the Israelites I redeemed out of slavery, all they do is complain. The life I gave them freely as a gift for them to steward as a sacred duty they disdain and count as cheap and freely degrade it and sin. Do you value the life I gave you? I planned you from everlasting to everlasting and no one else is like you. I want to supply for all your needs now and forever. I created the world for you and all it contains. I created Heaven for you and wonders beyond what you can count, ask, or even imagine. I answer when you call. I am on your side. I gave My Son to take your sins from you into His own account and pay your judgement with His life in the flesh. And what do I say to you when you use the talents I give you with the skill and fruit I give you as a branch drawing all it needs from the vine that is its source of supply?

‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:21.

I am your shield and your very great reward.

The voice of thanksgiving works wonders and multiplies provisions. Remember the five loaves and two fish? Jesus lifted them up and thanked Me. And you know the rest.

And why is it so important to dwell in Me? To make Me your dwelling place? There are many, many reasons but what was highpoint of the day for Me and the first man and woman? When I visited with them in the Garden in the breezy time of the day. We can visit together. Do not miss the time of your visitation.

I call it walking with Me. Enoch and Noah walked with Me and it saved them and brought them safely to My Kingdom. The whole human race would have perished under judgment if Noah had not walked with Me.

I visit you and with the visit comes creative plans and projects for you (like the tabernacle for Moses to erect, the solution to the famine in Egypt by My revelation to Joseph and so much more), conceptions of new life and the birthing of new ideas and inventions. I visited My people in Egypt when they called out to Me and I delivered them out of their affliction and I do the same for you. Visit with Me each day in our secret place for solutions, deliverance, healing, whatever it is you need help with and let Me be your helper. I can fix anything and everything.

In Heaven you dwell with Me and I take care of all supply and assignments with abundance beyond all you can ask or think and you can have that now if you make Me your dwelling place. And the easiest way to do that is take Jesus as your Lord and become My dwelling place.

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16.

Today Salvation has come to your house. Luke 19:9-10. Seek Me for I am seeking you.

I love you. Come dwell with Me. The door is always open for you.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Revelation 4:1.

Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Revelation 3:8.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:20-21.
