Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You really cannot intercede for others or pray effectively without the leading of the Holy Spirit.
In the same way the Spirit also helps (sunantilambanomai (συναντιλαμβάνομαι): to help, to take hold with at the side, to assist, to take part with) our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26.
You can have as much of My Spirit in you and on you as you want. There is no limit on love– that is, true, pure, committed love that never quits or turns back. I pour My love into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5. Jesus said if you knew My gift you would ask Him for a drink of the living water to fill up the well spring of your spirit unto eternal life, which is knowing Me and My Son. Drink deeply of love and you are ready to intercede for even for those who mistreat you. Filled with My life, for I am love, you will know just what to pray, a special Word for each person and nation. Like My servant Paul who was sent to those who often rejected him and sought to kill him, but his assignment was to open their eyes so that they would turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to Me, that they would receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me. Acts 26:18. And he ran his race with joy.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God with all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:17-20.
You take up the sword of the Spirit, which is My Word, with prayer and petition, praying at ALL TIMES in the Spirit, first for the church, the body of Christ and all the members, the household of faith, and then for all so the gospel may be known and all have the opportunity to be saved and know the truth.
How do you get filled inside and out with the Holy Spirit? Not everyone was, even among the believers. I single out those who were and so did the members of the church.
So the twelve summoned the community of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable for us to neglect the word of God in order to serve tables. Therefore, brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task. But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:2-4.
They chose seven men as requested but I single one out, Stephen, to tell you that he was full of faith and of the Holy Spirit. Acts 6:5. I also point out that those full of the Holy Spirit are filled with joy as well. Acts 13:52. And peace. Romans 15:13.
How do some seem to be more Spirit filled than others when I have put My Spirit in the born again spirit of all who believe in My Son and have received Him as Lord? They have made their hearts welcome places to the Spirit.
Sow with a view to righteousness, reap in accordance with kindness; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD until He comes to rain righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12.
Remember that the sword of the Spirit is My Word and that My Word is truth. The Holy Spirit guides you to all truth. The Holy Spirit guides you to pray My Word in everything for it is My Word I sent to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. My Word is living and active and goes to work in anyone who will receive it. It is My Word that changes everything in your life, births you from above, and transforms you by the renewing of your mind.
My Word is not only the seed that plants in your heart to produce the harvest of the promise it contains—giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, but it also comes down like the rain, the early and the latter rain, to soften and prepare the soil for the seed so it can plant and grow. And then My Word brings the light and water that makes it grow to fruition by the water of the Word continually washing and reviving it.
Do not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit so that He cannot increase your generous yield and take you higher and higher in the realm of Spirit led prayer. In that realm the impossible is very possible.
So how do you prepare your heart to be a welcoming place for the Spirit? Moses knew, Deborah knew, David knew. Elisha knew. Mary knew. Paul knew:

That is very clear. You enter My gates with songs of thanksgiving and My courts with hymns of praise. Psalm 100, Psalm 95. Word songs are Spirit sent songs from Heaven.
Let my supplication come before You; deliver me according to Your Word. Let my lips utter praise, for You teach me Your statutes. Let my tongue sing of Your Word, for all Your commandments are righteousness. Psalm 119:170-172.
Your statutes are my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. Psalm 119:54.
You draw My Spirit into your heart by singing praise songs filled with My Word. I am enthroned on your praises, it brings Me down to fight your battles, break chains, swing open prison gates, and convert the unbelievers.
Sing to the LORD a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth . . . Let them give glory to the LORD and declare His praise in the coastlands. The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. Isaiah 42:10, 12-14.
A thankful, joyful heart is where My Spirit loves to move for that is a heart that understands My ways and responds with faith and praise. It is your response to Me that determines how much of the Spirit I can pour into and upon you.
Never try to carry the load of intercessory prayer or the conversion of those headed for hell by yourself as if you had to do it and somehow move Me to act, that is not the case at all. You are praying according to My Will, for My Will is that all men be saved and come to know the truth. You are to cast all that care on Me, every care about your life and that of others, and let Me do the work in you. Remember when the crowds marveled at the amazing miracles that took place at His hands, Jesus told them it was not Him but I was doing the works in Him. And that I would show Him even greater works. The more available you make your heart to My Spirit the more wonders I can work in you for you to yield forth into the world.
The branch produces the fruit but the vine supplies all that is needed to produce it. The branch simply has to stay attached to the vine and the more deeply it is attached and the longer it has been on the vine the more entwined in the vine it becomes until it is hard to discern where the vine ends and the branch begins. If you have ever looked at an older grapevine you know this is true. The way you discern a branch from the vine is the grapes that hang from the branch. You will be known by your fruit.
Pray now with David Psalm 28 and I think you will make it your own heart cry unto Me:
LORD, You are my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in You, and I am helped. Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I thank You. You, O LORD, are my strength, and You are my saving defense. You have anointed me. Save me LORD and bless me. You are my inheritance. You are my shepherd and You carry me forever. Psalm 28:7-9.
You live by My love in you. You work by the work I do in you. You pray with Me by the prayers My Spirit puts in your heart. I give you the desires of your heart by My Spirit in you so they are right and good desires that I can bless and bring to pass.
Be in Me and I will be in you. Let it be that your heart has knit with Mine so perfectly that where one stops and the other starts is a seamless joining. So that seeing your works is seeing Mine and hearing your words is hearing Mine for the moment. Seamless like My Son’s tunic and the tunic of the High Priest of old. Humanity filled with divinity and divinity filled with humanity in the seamless life of My Son. And I have put you in Him and sealed you there with the Holy Spirit as a pledge of the glory to come.
In Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit He brings you from My throne you can live so united with Me that we become one and, like Jesus, only do My works and speak My Words that your spirit generates by My Spirit in you.
For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23.
Don’t you know that I have made you a temple of the Holy Spirit and My Spirit dwells in you? See yourself as holy and sacred, a vessel and a house of God in the Spirit where you know Me and I know you. You have the joy of My presence in you at all times if you are in Christ. Do not ignore so great a salvation as if My Spirit were not there.
I am love, I am light, I am peace. When you know who I am and who you are in Me, you will know that you have everything that you want, desire, long for, and seek. Spend you days with Me and be free of all that would drag you back into darkness and strife. I alone am the source of all good, of all life, of all love. I am your saving help. I am your salvation. I am your strength and song. I am your secret place. Let Me live My life in and with you. I am offering you the great honor, blessing, and privilege of living your life in Me, with Me, and through Me forever. Let your unique life give Me the glory assigned to you by shining your light in the world that I have shone in your heart by the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire that Jesus came to give you.
Please read again what Jesus prayed about you to Me the night He was betrayed and then gave His life that you could live forever as one with Him in Me:
I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:20-26.
I love you. Pray in the Spirit in your spirit at all times and take down the strongholds of the enemy that are in the world. My church should have brought them down years ago. Do not grieve and quench the Spirit.
“Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.” Luke 21:34-35.
The worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful. Mark 4:19.
It is time to light up the world. Don’t put your spirit under the bushel basket of uncontrolled flesh.
LORD, please give me Your life, Your joy, Your love, Your peace, Your wisdom, Your strength, Your works, Your Words, Your Will, Your desires, Your thoughts, Your dreams and visions, Your plans as my own and bring them to pass in me. And to you is all the glory. Let me live to the praise of Your glory. Your Kingdom come! Amen.
If that was your heart’s prayer, I have answered it. Look up at Me and smile at all the great wonders I will show you. The greater works are reserved for the Body of Christ in these last days. Shine as a glorious Church ready for the Bridegroom to return and take you all to the wedding feast.
