I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not turn away from Me. Jeremiah 32:40.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Persevere. No worry, no fear, I am here, to show you the way, each and every day. And it is the way of favor. I will never leave you or forsake you. I will totally remake you.
Keep out of sin. Never let the devil in. Watch day and night, I will hold you tight. Be the person I made you to be and you will walk totally free. Spend the rest of your life with Me and wonderful it will be. In every situation, have no fear just believe and receive your miracle.
Clothed in Christ, the armor of light, you will know peace and joy that will not cease. Never give up and lie down in defeat, stand up in faith and never retreat. I will make the bitter sweet by the wood of the cross there is never a loss.
It is all wrapped up in Covenant. That is the way I have joined you to Myself through Christ. There is only one Covenant and it is from the beginning. My living Covenant of Love, it is built on the original but keeps getting better provisions as the plan is revealed in the fullness of time. I will never revoke it but I continually amend it and there have been three restatements with new and greater promises. It started with one, Noah, and a family saved from the flood, and with Abraham it was amended and restated as a family of faith formed from his line that in time would bring forth the seed, the Messiah and Lord, the cornerstone on which the world is founded but who appeared in time clothed in your flesh to bring you home and take down the gate of His enemies.
The covenant with Noah was simple: no more mass destruction by a flood and the rainbow was that sign. It was between Me and all creation. And it was sealed by the burnt offerings of the clean animals from the ark upon the altar stone upon Noah’s exit from the ark. And the rainbow is still around My throne in Heaven as a constant reminder of the beginning of My everlasting Covenant of love. And it is an emerald rainbow, which is the stone of Levi in the breastpiece of the High Priest, so the rainbow of deliverance is one that speaks of the High Priest forever who saves you from the wrath to come.
Then as the generations of mankind again began to raise up families upon the earth, I found a man named Abraham who was willing to follow Me and fellowship with Me and through him and his descendants I was able to release My blessing again upon the earth that I blessed you all with in the beginning. After he tithed to Melchizedek, as I taught him the gospel ahead of time, I made Covenant with him, amending and restating My Covenant by the cutting of the burnt offering of clean animals as he fell into a trance so that My Son and I walked it out before him and now there were a whole new scope of promises: a homeland flowing with milk and honey, righteousness by faith, an ever increasing fruitfulness and prosperity, and the promised seed of the woman that would come in the fullness of time to lead you back to the abundance of Eden but better yet, for in Him I give you the Kingdom. The promise to Abraham to be possessor of Heaven and earth is fulfilled in My Son that clothed Himself in flesh according to the line of Abraham. And in that line I chose a tribe that was headed by Leah’s fourth son, Yehudah, who was born as she praised Me, which was the first time anyone praised Me among men, and of his line I narrowed it to the house of David, another praiser, and from his line to Mary, another one who sang praise.
With Noah and Abraham the Covenant was of the spoken Word. The Spoken Word birthed and formed a family of faith.
The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed? For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.” Genesis 18:17-19.
But as they began to become as numerous as the sand of the seashore and the stars of Heaven, I gave them the written Word to birth and form a nation of faith founded on just laws. My Words give life. The spoken Word was fine for a family but the written Word was needed for a nation. And My nation, thanks to My Word being codified in just 22 letters, was literate so they could write My Words on their homes and keep them before their eyes. My Word is living and working and sets you apart, consecrated in truth.
“Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law. For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47.
And this time I amended and restated My everlasting Covenant with Moses and the people I redeemed out of Egypt. And the glorious period of the Law that formed an amazing nation was birthed in My eternal Covenant of Love. So began the period of the Second Amendment and Complete Restatement of My everlasting Covenant, keeping all the old promises and benefits, such as the land that I had already put in the Covenant for My people Israel, the promise of the Messiah, and adding the new. And just as I taught Abraham about Jesus as he learned the gospel ahead of time, so I also taught Moses.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” John 8:65-58.
And when Abraham took Isaac up the hill of Mt. Moriah, Abraham prophesied that I Myself had looked ahead and provided the Lamb. He knew.
And who did Jesus tell you Moses wrote about? Yes, Jesus.
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. John 5:46.
Both Abraham and Moses were awaiting the one that was to come, the Messiah, My Son who would fulfill all the types and shadows, from Passover Lamb to the burnt offering, the grain offering, the peace offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, the plan of the tabernacle, the appointed times (feasts), and the writings of the prophets, the psalms, and all the writings were about Him.
Then there came the fullness of time when My Word stepped off the page and out of the Holy of Holies to dwell among you as in the beginning but built on even better promises than before. When I restore it is better than before. And now My promises were fulfilled that I blessed the whole word by the seed I planted in the tribe of Abraham that took flesh fulfilling the words of the sign of the prophet Isaiah.
Therefore the Lord (Adonai) Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14.
And this time, I, as the Settlor and Grantor, amended and restated My everlasting Covenant of love for the third time: The Third Amendment and Complete Restatement of My Covenant was published as I made Covenant with My Son, and, as a subtrust within My living trust, Jesus made Covenant with you to pull you in to the great and everlasting Covenant in a bond that you cannot break. The nation of Israel broke My Covenant by turning to other gods, which I called adultery and though I hate divorce and no man can separate what I have joined, lewd conduct is a separate case, justifying the separation.
“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 33:31-34.
I have amended with a new bride and new children though the bequest of the land to the children of Israel is still very much a part of it. But the prior amendments are obsolete and no longer viable. They are not separate covenants but all one. It is just like what you find in estate planning called the revocable living trust. The Settlor remains the same but as his life and family change, the Settlor amends the trust to accommodate the new but keep the good of the old, but it is still the same trust and any assets placed in it originally are still in it without drafting new deeds or assignments. For determining beneficiaries, distributions and trustees, however, the latest amended version controls and is the only one that can be enforced. No beneficiary running around with an older version which has since been amended can enforce it. It is the same with My Covenant with you. The older versions are now obsolete, the only enforceable is the Third Amendment and Complete Restatement of My eternal Covenant, also known as the New Testament.
When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear. Hebrews 8:13.
And under this amendment, the ultimate distribution is eternal life. Resurrection life.
For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. Hebrews 9:15.
The New Covenant is the Word manifested in the flesh as My living Word spoken forth by the prophets and promised by Me from the beginning as He stepped off the page and formed the Body of Christ, the edifice of the Church, and opened the Kingdom and eternal life for everyone who had a heart towards Me and would let themselves be drawn to My Son. The promise of eternal life that I made to you from the foundation of the world is fulfilled in all those born again from above with the imperishable Word planted in their hearts with the stony heart removed so My Spirit dwells in you as a new creation in Christ.
I love you forever. And My everlasting Covenant has reached its highest expression in Jesus. If you have Jesus, you have everything. If you don’t have Jesus you have nothing for in Him alone is eternal life. Go forward and you will be walking with Me.
“And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also. But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. Acts 3:17-21.
