Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

In the beginning I blessed every person from the beginning to the end of time. You are blessed. There is no one that has not been blessed from the beginning to the end.

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28.

I blessed you from the start and I bless your part once you are born at just the time and place planned since I conceived My plan for you in My heart.

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139:16.

What does My blessing do?

It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it. Proverbs 10:22.

My blessing teaches you to profit and the way you should go. It makes you fruitful and gives permanence to the work of your hands. It gives you wisdom and understanding in handling your own life and what I place in your hands. I bless you to be a blessing, I bring your gifts before great men, I give promotion and favor. Like Joseph in Egypt. I entrusted to him the governance in the time before, during, and after a seven-year famine and, as Pharaoh put it, he had wisdom and understanding beyond any man. That was because My Blessing was upon him and made him prosper as a slave, as a prisoner, and as the highest government official next to Pharoah in Egypt. It brought promotion in each place he found himself. It was the blessing of Abraham.

Blessings come upon and overtake those who obey My Word. Deuteronomy 28:2; Acts 5:32. Why is that? My Word is set up to bless you. And if you love Me (and yourself) you will keep My Word and I and My Son come and make our dwelling with those who love Us. I made you in My image and according to My likeness and once you return to that from the realm of death and darkness where Adam took you by disobeying My Word of life and light you are born again from above, made righteous with My own righteousness, and My blessings come upon the head of the righteous. It is obedience that brings the blessing. How can to walk together unless they agree? The blessing is in Me, every good thing given and every perfect gift comes from Me, from the light of life that is in Me, for I am light and I am love, there is no darkness in Me. If you live stout against My Words and keep yourself in the dark, we walk apart. To walk in the blessing  you need to think as I do and that describes obedience. It comes from a heart turned to love that can hear My voice.

One man’s disobedience to My Word plunged the world into darkness and put you all on the path of death. The blessing was trying to operate but it could not in hearts filled with evil. But every time through the ages that all seemed lost, one man’s obedience would change everything. And you see this is true, Noah obeyed My Word by faith and headed all of you, his descendants according to the flesh, from death to life. And when he and his family exited the ark, I blessed him and his sons with the same blessing of increase and fruitfulness that I blessed you all with from the start. Genesis 9:1. But it was all headed to the goal in My heart since the foundation of the world. The promise of the Father for His children.

But first before I go on to show you the ultimate and highest blessing that brings in every blessing, let us look back to look forward. You will find in every time and place, one man’s obedience is what changes everything from death to life and from darkness to light and presses forward to the goal.

Let us look at the Blessing of Abraham because it headed you for the ultimate blessing, for My blessing on him because of his obedience blessed every person on earth.

What were the elements of the Blessing of Abraham and what did it do for his descendants?

Here is how I introduced Abraham to the blessing: Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3.

It required for him to leave the idol worshippers and unbelievers to a land I would show him. If he obeyed My call, I promised to increase him, to make his name known, respected and honored, to bless him so that he was a blessing, to bless those who blessed him and curse the one who cursed him, and that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed.

That is the blessing of Abraham but that was only the beginning.

Abram immediately set out and I took him to the land of Canaan. I told him I would give that land to his descendants when as yet he had none. And he found out as he walked with Me that leaving his homeland and following Me to the place I showed him, he did not lack.

Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. Genesis 13:2.

The next stage you see in the Blessing is victory over four enemy armies that outnumbered him to rescue his nephew, Lot, his goods, and his family. Abraham led out his trained men, born in his house (he raised them to walk with Me as he did), three hundred and eighteen of them, and they defeated the enemy armies and besides rescuing Lot they delivered everyone and everything in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed? For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.” Genesis 18:17-19.

And then from this another blessing came, the blessing from Melchizedek, to whom he tithed.

Then after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley). And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High. He blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” He gave him a tenth of all. Genesis 14:17-20.

This was the Blessing of Abraham by Melchizedek (His name means King of Righteousness) and He is also identified as king do Salem, which is the word “Shalom” meaning peace, prosperity and the whole pie of life.

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham apportioned a tenth part of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually. Hebrews 7:1-3.

He testifies to Jesus, guides you to all truth, He brings My Word into manifestation physically, He is like My Son but not the Son, when the Words are spoken He changes the substance of bread and wine to the body and blood of My Son, He teaches you all things, He regenerates you into the Body of Christ, and He and I anointed Jesus a priest forever in accordance with the order of Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness, and He speaks My Word to the churches.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Revelation 2:29; Revelation 3:22.

Yes, He is the Holy Spirit in one of His many manifestations. And there is a reason He came to Abraham at this time. I will show you later in this lesson.

The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the nations will be blessed in you.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer. Galatians 3:8-9.

After the blessing of Abraham as heir of the world, Romans 4:13, more components of the Blessing came to light. I told him not to fear, I was his shield and great reward. I promised him a son and descendants that outnumbered the stars.

Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.” And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Then he believed (amened) the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:4-6.

Here is the heart of the Blessing of Abraham, your faith in My Word is reckoned as righteousness to you, not your works, but your faith.

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:19-25.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:8-10.

I then proceeded to make a Covenant with Abraham promising a home, a nation, for his descendants.

When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces. On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.” Genesis 15:17-21.

Now fast forward to the time the blessing of the son of the promise, Isaac, was born to Sarah and Abraham. And it was after this, when Abraham was fully persuaded of My love and the truth of My Word, that I gave the crowning promise of the Blessing that would bless every person on earth. I taught him the good news of the Messiah, My beloved Son, to be offered up as the burnt offering for sin to take away the sins of the world. And I walked him through what I would do with My beloved Son and My promise to all mankind with his beloved son Isaac, the son of the promise I had given him.

Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together. Genesis 22:6-8.

Because of his obedience, even his willingness to offer his son, I promised that I would greatly bless him and greatly increase him and his descendants, but then I gave him the greatest promise of all that went with the Blessing: I promised him that the seed (singular) that would take down the gate of His enemy would come from his line. And that seed was the seed I had promised when I judged the devil in Eden after the disobedience of one man that took you all out of the original blessing, out of My image and likeness, to become like the creature with which he fell, the devil, that ancient snake and the dragon of the endtimes. The promised Messiah would come from his line according to the flesh.

By one man’s obedience the world was blessed and the line set. Abraham was a prophet. Genesis 20:7. He walked with Me, which means he shared My thoughts and agreed with them and that is obedience.

Abraham looked forward to the promise but at age 175, he was enjoying his life so much that he lived well past the 120-year limit, he breathed his last in this world and died in a ripe old age, satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people. Genesis 25:8. What Jesus would later call the “Bosom of Abraham,” waiting for the promised Messiah to take down the gate of the enemy and open the gate of Heaven.

I blessed Isaac with the Blessing of Abraham, Genesis 25:11, and he blessed Jacob with that Blessing. Genesis 28:4.

And so it went down the ages, it came upon the line that was to bear the Messiah and it was the result each time of one man’s obedience. Joseph operated in it in Egypt as he walked with Me in obedience. Next Moses obeyed My voice and operated in the Blessing. I then shared it with the entire nation for all who would walk with Me by obeying My Word. It operated in redeeming all from Egypt, the Passover lamb, the blood of the lamb, bringing them out healed and laden with riches, in parting the Red Sea, and in leading My people in the wilderness to the promised land by a pillar of cloud filled with a column of fire.

“All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to give to your forefathers. You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. Your clothing did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. Deuteronomy 8:1-4.

This life is only a test for eternity. It has an end to time. What am I testing? What is in your heart, whether you will keep My commandments or not. And that is all about the Blessing.

May I ask you, of all the people I blessed with the Blessing of Abraham as I brought them out of Egypt rich and healed as I had promised Abraham ( God said to Abram, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years. But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age. Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.” Genesis 15:13-16) and to take them to the land I promised him to give them, did they all go in and enjoy My plan of Blessing? No. Who did? Only two. Joshua and Caleb. Why? They had faith in and obeyed My Word. Obedience. Two men’s obedience brought the nation in after 40 years when all the disobedient had died as just as they had spoken against Me. Without those two, history would have been far different.

And now I could talk of Samuel, whose obedience brought the whole nation out of the dark period of the judges to the light of the golden era when I found David a man after My own heart who did My every Word and I planted the seed that would crush the devil’s head and bring you to new birth to his line. One man’s obedience. But many of his descendants were so disobedient that it took them off to Babylon but the obedience of Daniel, Nehemiah, Ezra and Zerubbabel brought them back. And then there was One Man’s obedience that changed EVERYTHING and in Him My Will is summed up and everything in Heaven and on earth as well. Jesus. Yeshua Salvation.

But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:15-17.

Will you be the one who obeys in the darkness of your present generation?

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:21-24.

Now I am going to reveal to you the ultimate Blessing that brings you back to who I made you to be, that undoes all the work Satan did in you, that brings you back to being in My image and according to My likeness that I have promised to pour out upon you, your sons, your daughters, your old men and women, your young men and women, indeed on everyone who will obey.

Do you remember what Jesus came to do? I sent Him to seek out and save the lost, to take all your sins on Himself and give you His righteousness, to pay your judgment and satisfy your sentence, to make it as if you had never sinned so there was nothing between us. Why?

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

Do you see? If not look some more:

Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” She said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep; where then do You get that living water? You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:10-14.

What is that water?

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:37-39.

And what is the promise?

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:3-5.

That is My promise:

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. Ezekiel 36:25-27.

You are not changed into a new creation by your power or might, but by My Spirit!

The true BLESSING is My Spirit IN YOU and on you pouring My love into your heart. But stop there and think. Who am I? I am love. I have now poured Myself, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, into your heart. You are filled with all the fullness of the Godhead bodily when you walk with Me in the obedience of love.

THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ULTIMATE BLESSING THAT ALL WAS HEADED FOR SINCE THE FALL OF ADAM – TO MAKE YOU AGAIN IN MY IMAGE AND ACCORDING TO MY LIKENESS SO THAT YOU CAN REIGN WITH ME IN LIFE, ETERNAL LIFE.

I have made your body My sanctuary, My temple, and put My Name upon you and therein rests the BLESSING. Remember I taught Moses how Aaron was to speak My blessing over My people so that I could My Name upon the and bless them. It is My abiding presence for the blessing is in Me.

The blessing from the start has always been Me imparting My life to you making you fruitful as a branch on the vine, bearing the fruit of the vine. The blessing was always an empowerment—My power, My love, My authority, My joy, My shalom peace, My increase, My life, the abundance of My house, My fullness, My grace, My righteousness, My riches, My wisdom, and My Kingdom given to you who obey Me. So the full realization of the Blessing is My Holy Spirit in you and on you forever. He is My gift to you. He is My promise to you who have received My Son. Jesus received the Holy Spirit from Me when I glorified Him at My right hand having finished the work of salvation I gave Him to do and poured Him out on you. But remember also when I raised Him from the dead, He breathed on the disciples in the upper room and said “Receive the Holy Spirit.” It was then they were born again and the Spirit came into their hearts. On Pentecost they were clothed in the Spirit from on High. The mantle fell on them and joined with what was in them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross. He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5:29-32.

My Holy Spirit in you and on you makes you partakers of My divine nature. It is not just you trying to walk in obedience anymore. It is you and your paraclete, you counselor, your teacher, your leader, your guide, My power into you that quickens you and is present to heal. I am in you in all My fullness.

It all got knocked out of place by one man’s disobedience but over the years was built up the temple that is in you now by one man’s obedience in every generation, though others through disobedience tried to tear down or at least slow it down. But all I needed was one man or woman of faith that would obey My Word and I could get it all back on track. And finally it was one woman’s obedience to My Word, though it seemed impossible, who called herself My lowly handmaid, that the One whose obedience saved every man was released into the earth. With the first Adam I pulled the woman out of the man and she led him into disobedience but with the last Adam I pulled the man out of the woman and she walked in obedience. I have My ways of including all so that no one may boast above another for Christ is all in all.

I love you. Will you be the one whose obedience brings back My Son? When He comes will He find any faith on the earth? Come Lord Jesus!
