So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Today I want to talk with you about change. Change is not a bad thing. It is a good thing if it is done in Me. You are being transformed from glory to glory until you are conformed to the image of Christ, the perfect Man.
I often talk about change in My Word. The process starts with repentance. “Repent and believe in the Good News,” My Son said, “for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
When you come to My Son and receive Him as your Lord, you change. First you die to sin and rise to new life in Him. You become a new creation in Christ because your spirit is born again. What is dead in you, your spirit, comes to life. You are then transformed by the renewal of your mind.
New life. You are given a new life in Christ. That is change. Radical change. That is what I am looking for. It produces fruit.
Many people think of becoming a Christian as taking on a particular set of rules and restricting yourself to those. That is what happened in the age of the law. I can tell you that does not produce lasting change in most people. It is an outside restraint but the heart is not engaged so it does not produce lasting change. It is also frustrating for the person attempting to keep all the rules while the inside is not in tune with them.
That is not what I am seeking when you come to Me through Jesus. I am seeking your heart. A heart change. Love Me with all your heart. This makes change. Change that happens first on the inside and works its way out, for whatever fills your heart comes out, you will speak it with your mouth.
You are born again and you become a new creation when you are in Christ. When I say “in Christ,” I mean you are committed to Him as your Lord, you believe He is My Son, and you have decided to follow Him. You are conformed to His image.
My Son told you to change. You must be born again. Unless you change and become as little children, you shall not enter My Kingdom. Unless you repent you shall perish.
Change comes down to being a new creation in Christ, made the righteousness of God in Him, and then being transformed by the renewal of your mind so that you think, act and talk like Me.
How do you do that? By reading, meditating and speaking My Words. By being a doer of My Word and not a hearer only.
The path of the just gets brighter and brighter until it reaches the perfect day. As you step out in faith and take steps along the path that I have set forth for you, the light increases to guide you forward.
You are being transformed from Glory to Glory. The student becomes like his teacher and you should have no other Teacher but Christ.
You know when you get to know Me and My Son you will change. You become what you are feeding on, looking at, and listening to.
Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me. Change from the old man to the new. From darkness to light. From emptiness ot fullness. From sadness to joy. From despair to hope.
When you love, you change. You get a twinkle in your eye and a bounce in your step. You dance, you sing. You jump for joy. You think of your beloved day and night. You are excited. You are linked to the one you love. That is the change I am looking for in you. The change that happens when you fall in love with Me.
Be filled with the fullness of Christ. You will change. My Word will cleanse you and transform you. A change in the inside will work its way out.
Fall in love and change is easy. It just happens. Look at Me and you will change.
Forgetting what lies behind run to your high calling in Christ. Look ahead, not back. That is part of your change.
The ultimate change comes at the end of the Age of Grace. It happens in the twinkling of an eye, you will be caught up in the clouds to meet Christ in the air and you shall be changed. You shall be like Christ for you shall see Him as He is. Mortality will be clothed in immortality. What was corrupt will change to incorruptible. What was ugly will change to beautiful. What was weak will be changed into strong. You shall all be changed. Begin now, today.
I love you. Fall in love with Me and change will be easy.
Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.
