Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When you received My Son as your Lord, you became a new creation and old things passed away. All became new for you. But you may say that physically you look the same with no change. You do not see your inner man of the heart but I do, which is the real you that is eternal. When I say a new creation, I mean a new nature, a living spirit that is alive to Me and dead to sin. You are again just like Me. The darkness is over and the real light of the glory is shining in your heart and lighting the eternal lamp of your spirit.
In Adam, your nature changed to a sin nature, in Jesus, you get a new nature, a nature of divine righteousness.
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:2-4.
You are made up of three parts that merge into one being. You have a spirit, a soul and a body. Your spirit and your soul are eternal but your body is perishable. But the good news is that you will get a new body, a glorified one, that will be immortal like your spirit and soul and will not be subject to age or decay. You have one more step up to look forward to that will equip you for My Kingdom forever.
You are in the world as My ambassadors, witnesses, and doing the works of Jesus as His body on earth and of My royal priesthood interceding with Jesus but when your assignment on earth is done you will have your grand homecoming having faithfully performed your Kingdom service on earth well. The homecoming of an ambassador to his native country and true home from the foreign land is always an occasion of reward and great rejoicing for a job well done.
People may call your departure from this world death but for a believer it is a homecoming. “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
You are a new creation in Christ, so walk as such. Put your mind in the right place, that is, on Kingdom business that you have to do here in this world. The world is of the sin nature but you now have the divine nature in you. Or do you who have taken Jesus as Lord not realize you are temples of the Holy Spirit? For now in your spirit, since it came alive to Me in Christ, resides My Holy Spirit to fill you with the divine attributes so that you may walk in newness of life. Now you can be in the flow of Heaven to the earth, which I call the “rest.”
You have to be a new creation, sealed in My Spirit, to live in My rest.
Now, be honest, for I will ask you to examine yourself and I am asking you a question: Are you enjoying living in your new creation or are you still living in your old one? My Son redeemed you from the curse of the law and gave you the promise of the Spirit by faith. Why are you still living in slavery? In bondage? Do not return to slavery a second time. The law of the Spirit of life has set you free and where the Spirit is there is freedom. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
Why are you letting the cords of death bind you? I have loosed your bonds. And do you remember how the chains shook off in that prison in Philippi at midnight for Paul and Silas? Praise and worship. Joyful singing unto Me, your deliverer, your healer, your refuge, and your Savior.
There is only one way to enter My presence—worship. Joyful singing and connection to the One in whose presence there is nothing but joy, light and peace. My rest. And I have made you with instruments in you. This may surprise you but you are made for worship and praise, and that is the joyful place of light and peace and rest. It is there that miracles take place. It is there that you see the extraordinary in visions and dreams, in creative ideas, and it is there great productivity takes place. Supernaturally.
There are three families of instruments: percussion, wind, and strings. Psalm 150:4. And I made you with all three. You have hands and feet to clap, stamp, beat out rhythm, and fingers to snap in time. You have vocal cords which are strings and you breathe and have breath, the wind which cause the strings to sing and make you whistle and give a great and joyful shout. And you sing naturally. Listen to any child playing. They hum, they sing, they laugh. You beat out time naturally. Singing, dancing, keeping rhythm. It is inherent in you. I put it there.
Give it utterance. Do not stifle it. Raise your hands up high and sing unto Me. Make a joyful noise. It will loose your chains and break the bonds that ensnare you. Go up to the realm of light and bring Me down to your heart to be enthroned on your praises.
Lucifer had instruments in him and was the archangel, the anointed cherub, Ezekiel 28:13-14, Isaiah 14:11, who led worship among the heavenly host, but he sought worship for himself rather than raising it to Me and was cast out of his position and became the devil (Satan), Isaiah 14:12-15, but I made a new worship leader for heaven and earth. You. Sing a new song unto me from the choir of your heart.
Give in to joy. Why do you fight it so hard and stay in fear and darkness even now? In your darkness, you can wake the dawn. I bring the Light.
Serve in newness of spirit. Romans 7:6. You have died with Christ to that which bound you.
If you are feeling depressed, weak, fearful, anxious, and feel you have no joy anymore, and hate being that way, I want to show you how My servant Paul dealt with this.
He wrote: “I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.” Romans 7:14-15. And when you are focusing only on the works of the flesh and not on the things of faith, this will be the case. But Paul understood where the problem came from, “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.” But he knew where to look to be set free, “Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Romans 7:18-25. And how are you set free through Jesus? Let Paul continue: “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”
Those who are living only according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are living according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward Me; for it does not submit to My Word, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please Me for they cannot walk in love and peace. However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed My Spirit dwells in you, and He does if you have received Jesus as your Lord. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Me. And I give life to your mortal bodies through My Spirit who dwells in you. And you cannot help but have joy in the Holy Spirit.
You are under obligation, but not to the flesh—for if you are limiting yourself to and living only according to the flesh, you will not be happy and are headed to death. But by the Holy Spirit in you, you can put to death the deeds of the body—the malice, the lust, the depression, the selfishness—and live in holy peace and joy. Be led by My Holy Spirit as My child and walk in joyful victory over the flesh. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which you cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with your spirit that you are My children and if children, heirs also, My heirs and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed you suffer with Him so that you may also be glorified with Him. You will have trials in this life for the world is not yet My Kingdom, but take courage and cheer up, My Son has overcome the world and He is with you and in you, your hope of glory! You can find joy and peace beyond understanding if you stay in My presence and abide in My Word. Let yourself be joyful. Some of you have forgotten how to enjoy Me and the good things I send you every day. And the best of all is fellowship—with Me and with fellow believers. That is what Heaven is about and that is where the great joy there springs from.
And Paul, whom I had caught up to Heaven and shown him its glorious splendor, wrote this for you: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.” Romans 8:18-25.
Do not despair. My Spirit helps your weakness if you will let Him. You not know how to pray as you should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words according to My Will.
Have joy in knowing, even when things look dark, that I cause all things to work together for good to those who love Me, to those who are called according to His purpose. I have called you, justified you and glorified you. So do not despair. I am for you and I am the Most High, who can be against you? No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue raised against you shall be proved false. Do not lose hope. I who did not spare My own Son, but delivered Him over for you all, how will I not also with Him freely give us all things?
No one and nothing can separate you from the love of Christ? Not tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword! But in all these things you overwhelmingly conquer through Christ Jesus who loves you. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate you from My love, which is in Christ Jesus your Lord. Romans 8:1-39.
Enter My rest. Fight the good fight of faith to be there. To enter the rest of the Promised Land, the Israelites had to conquer and vanquish all the evil inhabitants of the land. You need to put out the old man and put in the new. Put aside the body of death and put on Christ.
So walk no longer just as the unbelievers also walk, in depression, fear, and in the futility of their mind (idle, angry thoughts), being darkened in their understanding, excluded from My life because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. But this will not make you have joy or a love of life. And you did not learn Christ in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, YOU LAY ASIDE THE OLD SELF, WHICH IS BEING CORRUPTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LUSTS OF DECEIT, AND THAT YOU BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND, AND PUT ON THE NEW SELF, WHICH IN MY LIKENESS HAS BEEN CREATED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS OF THE TRUTH. Ephesians 4:17-24.
You are a new creation in Christ. Why are you still living like you are the old man? It is time you put aside childish ways and began enjoying your new creation until you attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of My Son, to a mature believer, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. You are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by every emotion and feeling, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, you are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, grows together in fellowship with Me and one another for the building up of itself in love.
I love you. It is time for you to enjoy your life. Fire thoughts of sadness, oppression, fear and depression, refuse to employ them, and open your heart to joy. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing (fellowship with Me) and give constant thanks. You were made for worship, which is exalted fellowship with Me in the joy of My presence. And in the shadow of My wings, we sing for joy.
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 51:11.
