How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:9-11.

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your Word has revived me. Psalm 119:50.

If Your law (torah) had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me. Psalm 119:92-93.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

You may be looking today at your own life and the lives of those around you, so filled with regrets, sin, anxiety, and unrest, and you ask, “How can I live a perfect life?” I have good news for you, that question has already been asked and answered. And it really is not a complicated answer, but for many of you it will constitute a whole new lifestyle—a new level of awareness.

The answer is in Psalm 119, the longest Psalm in the Bible. In that psalm, the psalmist asks, “How can a young man keep his way pure?” And the answer is, “By keeping it according to Your Word.”

When I say to cling to Me in love in any trouble and I will rescue you and honor you, that means to cling to My Word, for I am My Word. John 1:1. Understand what I am saying. In Psalm 119 you will see My Word called “torah” which you translate “law” but it means much more, it means instruction that causes you to hit the mark, that is, the bullseye every time. You will also see My Word spoken of as My commandments, My precepts, My promises, My prescriptions, and My statutes spoken of. Really, they all could be summed up as My Word to you for your edification, exhortation, provision, and comfort. My Words (torah, commandments, promise, precepts, prescriptions, statutes) are not to bring burdens, terror, guilt and shame, oh no! They are for you to cling to in trouble and affliction, to deliver, heal, and provide for you. They are the remedy. They are your freedom. They are your life. My Words are divine promises of good and direction on how to have those promises manifest in your life. My Words are FOR You and not against you! I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions. Psalm 107:20. My Words are for triumphant, healthy, blessed living, for happiness and your delight. The psalmist sings, “Sustain (samak in Hebrew, which means to lean, rest, support, uphold, bear up, lean upon, stand fast, rest) me according to Your Word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope.” Psalm 119:116. Indeed, “How sweet are Your Words to my taste, honey to my mouth.” Psalm 119:103. And they are a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. Psalm 119:105

When you are in trouble, My Word delivers you. When you are weary, depressed, and ready to run, they restore and revive you.

Those who love My Word have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble. Psalm 119:165. The one who never stumbles with his tongue is a perfect man, he lives a perfect life. My ordinances help you to live that abundant life. Psalm 119:175. I deliver you according to My Word. Psalm 119:170.

My Words strengthen you and give you hope. They show you I am for you, with you, and never against you. My Words speak of goodness, blessing, prosperity, provision, healing, and offer you a way to victory and freedom.

The psalmist sings, “I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great spoil (plunder, treasure).” Psalm 119:162. And that is the way to read and use My Word. Be on a treasure hunt to see all the beautiful things I freely give you and take them. My servant Paul wrote, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12. And you can only find them in My Word. My commandments make you wiser than your enemies for My Word is ever yours. Psalm 119:98.

The psalmist writes, “If Your law (torah) had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me.” Psalm 119:92-93. I revive you, I get you through trouble, by you taking My Word into your heart and believing and hoping against hope that I will work My promise in your life. In the face of being fiercely assailed and giving up, you find My Word and it becomes your lifeline, your hope, and your light in that dark place, “If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.” Isaiah 54:15. And you go on to find more treasure with which you can put down your fear of those coming against you, “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication (righteousness) is from Me,” declares the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17. And then you find Psalm 35 that gives you more hope and makes you start laughing at the devil and his demons. And there are numerous other Scriptures about attacks from others and what I will do to protect you and bring you out vindicated just because you are Mine, that is, because you are in Christ Jesus whom you have received as your Lord.

Jesus is My Word made flesh who came to dwell with you “And Jesus cried out and said, ‘He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me. He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me. I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the Word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:44-50.

And My Word is not difficult to find, Moses said it this way, “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.” Deuteronomy 30:11-14.

Wherever you are if you are not keeping My Word it is the wrong place. But wherever you are if you are keeping My Word I will make it to be the right place or lead you to the place of your assignment. In any event, if you are keeping My Word, where you are becomes the right place and the place of your assignment.
