For this is what the LORD has told me: “I will quietly look on from My dwelling place, like shimmering (dazzling, glowing, radiant) heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” Isaiah 18:4.

Today your LORD (הוה) God says:

Make today and everyday a day of Salvation (Yeshuah), a day of Jesus. Spend your day with Jesus—your Teacher, your good Shepherd, your great High Priest, the author and finisher of your faith, and your forerunner behind the veil. All things were made by Him and for Him. In Him you will find all the answers you seek for in Him I have placed all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and made Him to be wisdom for you. You access everything good through, with, and in Him.

My beauty comes from within and causes the radiance of My Face, the radiance of My presence. I am light, and I shine with a brilliance beyond that of the light of the sun. There is no need for sun or moon to shine in Heaven for My glory illumines it and its Lamp is the Lamb. Revelation 21:23. Moses reflected that light when speaking with Me but it did not radiate from within him, so it faded if he did not continually abide in My presence. It was a reflected light, as the moon with the sun. David sang later to look at Me and be radiant. Psalm 34:5. And I taught Moses and David to pray: “LORD, let your face shine upon us and we shall be saved.” I answered that prayer and sent My Son for your salvation, and I have shone into your heart to give the Light of the knowledge of My glory (which Moses so wanted to see) in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:4. Yes, in Him,  My love has shone into your heart and Christ is in you. And Jesus is the radiance of My glory and the exact representation of My nature and upholds all things by the Word of His power. Hebrews 1:3. He comes from deep within My bosom, John 1:18—deep within the radiance from which He shines forth in power, majesty and splendor. When My beloved John saw Him in the Spirit on Patmos, he fell down in awe, likening the face of Jesus to the sun shining in its strength and His eyes a flame of fire. Revelation 1:14, 16. “Oh, give ear,” sang Asaph, “Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!” Psalm 80:1. I will quietly look on from My dwelling place, like dazzling, glowing, shimmering, radiant heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. Isaiah 18:4. My splendor covers the heavens, and My radiance is like the sunlight; rays flashing from My hand, and there is the hiding of My power. Habakkuk 3:3-4.

Now it is not just a radiant light you reflect, but it is in you. Let your light shine before men who are trapped in the darkness of a fallen world. Rescue them by letting the Light shine that is in you to remove the darkness and sin. You are the light of the world, that is, all you who have Christ in you. Now you have a radiant face if you let His light shine out from your heart and do not put that light under a bushel basket. While Gideon had the men burning their torches covered by clay pots, the enemy could not see them, but the minute they broke their earthen jars the light shone and routed the entire enemy. You are an earthen vessel holding a treasure of the highest value, beyond price, the Christ, the anointing, the light of the world, a burning lamp ready to meet the Bridegroom is within you so light the way to others in a dark world where you shine like lights holding out the Word of Life.

My Son has eyes like a flame of fire, Revelation 2:18, and I guide you by My eye. It lights the way for you as His loving eyes rest upon you. His eyes are the flame that lights your lamp, your spirit within to make your heart burn within you at His Word. The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD searching all the inward chambers of your being. Proverbs 20:27.

And there is no creature hidden from My sight but all things are open and laid bare to My eyes, and I am the one with whom you have to do, to whom alone you ultimately render an account of your life. Hebrews 4:13.

And how are you assured that you are following the way by which you will receive a full reward as I have planned for you? By living each day with Jesus. Spend your time with Him at your side. He is My chosen One in whom is all My delight. Now is the day of Salvation. He promised you after I raised Him from the dead that He is with you always. Make this day a day lived in, with, and through Jesus. It will make your life wonderful. Joy unspeakable filled with glory. Spend your day in that radiance, bask in that light. He came to bring you abundant life and that life is in Him. Let Him take hold of your hand.

But how do you do this? Like Zacchaeus. He actively sought Jesus. Let us consider his story and you will learn much from it.

It came about in his sojourn as one of you on the earth, Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. And there was a man called by the name of Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and he was rich. Zacchaeus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.

Small in stature. He was a sinner and sin makes you of the earth. Makes you the slave of sin and subject to the master you are imitating as  his children, who is Satan. And he will try to keep you feeling small so you will seek the riches of the world above the Kingdom of Heaven. Which is what Zacchaeus was doing. And he was gaining riches by defrauding others, though this was legal under the Roman government for tax collectors to do, but what is legal is not always right in My eyes. You see that in your society today, many things have been made “legal” which in My Kingdom are lawlessness and sin.

So Zacchaeus ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore fig tree in order to see Jesus, for He was about to pass through that way. He outran the crowd. He was running towards his high calling in Christ. He was leaving the crowd on the wide road to destruction and going by a new path. He was separating himself from the crowd to see Jesus. If you want to follow Me you cannot stay with the crowd on the wide road to destruction. In order to please and placate the crowd, Pilate ordered Jesus to be crucified when his verdict was that Jesus had done no wrong. Be careful about being a people-pleaser above looking to what is pleasing to Me.

Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see Jesus. He put his mind above to see Jesus. I tell you to come up higher and think of things above rather than focusing only on things below. If he had, Zacchaeus would have missed seeing Jesus. He would have passed by and Zacchaeus would have been unaware of his visitation. I reward those who seek Me. I told Abram after he had tithed to Melchizedek, “Do not fear Abram, I am a shield to you, your reward will be very great.” Genesis 15:1. For tithers I open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing you cannot contain and I rebuke the devourer away from you. I shield you. Be sure to enforce your tither’s rights against the destroyer.

When Jesus came to the place where Zacchaeus was stationed, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” Must stay? Yes, when you seek Me you will find Me right there with you and My Son made you a promise: “I am with you always.” And I made you a promise too, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Turn to Me while there is still time for now is the acceptable time and now is the day of Salvation.

And Jesus told Zacchaeus to hurry, not to waste any more of his precious life on the lusts of the flesh and the life of empty show. He had amassed wealth but at the cost of living on the outskirts of Jewish religious life and somehow hearing about this holy man Jesus, whom some said was the Messiah, he wanted to see Him and he went after that with determination. And I saw his heart. I directed Jesus to go to his house that day because Jesus did nothing that I did not show Him to do. So, yes, Jesus had to go that day to save this man. I saw the one heart in that crowd who really wanted Jesus just for Jesus, not for a miracle, not for what Jesus could do for him, but just to see Jesus. And I was pleased. I do not look at crowds as a crowd, I look at the individuals.

And Zacchaeus hurried and came down and received Jesus with great joy! He received My Son with honor. How do you receive Him? Is He the delight and joy of your heart, like Jeremiah when he found My Word? He could not get enough! Are you eager to have His presence with you all day or do you prefer to stay in darkness doing things you would not want to share with Him?

When the crowd saw that Jesus went to stay that day with Zacchaeus, they all began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” Jesus said He did not come to judge you, but to save you. You should do the same.

But My Son’s visit to Zacchaeus changed him forever. One encounter that is just you and Jesus, like the Samaritan woman at the well, can change you forever. And He comes to have that with each one of you, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20. He must stay at your house today if you invite Him in.

After the encounter with Jesus, as the people grumbled about him entertaining so holy a man,  Zacchaeus stopped and said to Jesus, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much.”  Luke 19:8. Do you see he now called My Son “Lord?” He had received Him as Lord and Savior of his life. He believed. A sinner had become a saint.

And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:9-10. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of Salvation. And you will note that in Hebrew the word for Salvation is Yeshuah, which is the Name I gave Him when He was in His mother’s womb. I told Joseph to call His Name, “Jesus (Yeshuah)” because He would save His people from their sins.

What a wonderful day Zacchaeus had. He is still rejoicing in it here with Me, along with all who have had an encounter with Jesus when He came to stay with them for the day.

And now you never have to be without Him in your house, for He is in you. And He told you something very wonderful that you would do well to take to heart, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” John 14:23. I am with you as well, all day every day, all night every night. Why don’t you take advantage of that and walk as one with Me in all you do each day? Be mindful of Me as I am of you, for I am right there with you and in you forever.

I love you. Keeping My Word has great reward and it makes you become like Me and it makes you know Me. And once you have the light in you, you shine for all to see. Like Jesus, you cannot escape notice. “Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 13:43.
