He has brought me to His banquet hall, and His banner over me is love. Song of Songs 2:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I set a table before you in the sight of your foes. Psalm 23:5. And it is a lavish banquet that gives you everything you need and more for a life of beauty and glory. It gives you strength, joy, healing, youth renewal, wisdom, understanding, and I could go on. And I have brought you into the banquet hall and My banner over you is love.
It is all there for you; the table is prepared and lavish. And just like any banquet buffet, you can partake of everything in the proportions you desire, let us say thirty or sixty or a hundredfold, or you can partake of nothing. It is your choice.
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. Again he sent out other slaves saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business, and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them. Matthew 22:1-6.
Come to the feast! Why would you not come to such abundance? My table is spread, the good things are all prepared in advance and set out for you and it is free for the asking. I paid for it in advance. You just have to respond to the invitation and come.
“Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Isaiah 55:1-2.
And Jesus even comes to give you a private invitation to the table of plenty.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20.
And to you who continue in His Word and are His disciples He invites to sit at the table of honor with Him.
And just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom. Luke 22:29-30.
And whatever is on the table or at the various counters, such as the man carving the roast beef (the fattened calf), you just ask for what you want and go back for as many refills of your plate as you want.
At a family style dinner if you want to serve yourself from the big bowl of mashed potatoes or rice or whatever else you see on the table from where you are seated, you just say, “Pass the mashed potatoes please,” and when it is passed to you, you say “thank you,” take the big serving spoon and put as much as you want on your plate. No doubts, you have been invited and what you see set out is yours for the asking. Just ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and you can enter the feast, for there is rich choice fare on the table and you will find just what you need and what your heart desires for good health, renewal of youth, overflowing prosperity, peace of mind, and whatever else My Word provides. It would be so sad and grieve Me, My Son, and My Spirit when we have worked preparing you so many magnificent dishes if you refused to partake and enjoy. I had to sacrifice My beloved Son to provide the forgiveness, the healing, the youth renewal, the righteousness, and all the other magnificent promises that are yours at the table.
The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; a banquet of aged wine, oil with marrow, and refined, aged wine. And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, even the veil which is woven over all nations. He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord (Adonai) LORD (YHWH) will wipe tears away from all faces. And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken. And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” Isaiah 25:6-8.
I, the LORD of Hosts, with all My angelic army have prepared and summoned you to this lavish banquet, and I send out My angels to call every one of you and bring you safely to My holy mountain if you want to come.
And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” Micah 4:1-2.
And for all who come, I swallow up the covering by which Satan has blinded your eyes to the banquet I set before you in his sight for he does not want you to partake and become unconquerable by knowing My Word and partaking of all the benefits therein. He wants to steal the Word from you and keep you busy toiling for what you could so easily partake of at My table.
And at the banquet there is rejoicing, for I offer you Salvation. Isaiah 25:8. And I offer you the bread of life, the cup of salvation, the children’s bread, and the finest wine of My love, which is from of old, the wine of the Holy Spirit that they spoke of at the fulfillment of Pentecost when My Holy Spirit came and so filled the hearts of the believers with My banquet under My banner of love that the crowd that ran to see what was going on in the upper room thought so much joy had to mean you had too much sweet wine.
And it is at that banquet that I give you the oil, the grain and the wine—the anointing, the bread of life, and the blood of the Lamb, and these are all there for you at the banquet of My Word. It is there you are renewed. And My Son and I are at that banquet, Adonai YHWH, to free you from all reproach, making you holy and blameless before Me. And we wipe every tear from your eyes.
They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:16-17.
What is this wonderful lavish banquet I am offering you? What is it that I have set on this table in the sight of your foes? It is My Word, for in My Word, have the answer, you have the victory, you have the joy, and you have the peace, but they are all in your mouth. I provide every good thing, every perfect gift, all the covenant benefits, the power, the victory, the healing, the provision, and the glory, but only you can enforce them, only you can take them, only you can receive them, and only you can direct the result. ONLY YOU CAN ANSWER THE INVITATION AND COME TO THE TABLE AND TAKE AND RECEIVE THE WORD THAT WILL FILL YOUR NEED AND MAKE YOU WHOLE.
Never beg, never fear, never doubt, just come to the table and take a huge helping of all that you need, whether it be the children’s bread of healing, the sweet wine of My love, the pure living water of My Spirit, the daily bread of provision and prosperity, or the honey of the Word to sweeten up your life and make your eyes sparkle. 1 Samuel 14: 29 (“See now, how my eyes have brightened because I tasted a little of this honey.”)
How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103.
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:24.
And at this banquet there is thanksgiving. Only believe, and if you do, then say it, stick to it, and rejoice in it with thanksgiving and praise until you see it and then just keep rejoicing, thanking, and praising to keep it. It is all done by thanksgiving. If you believe you received, then you thank. Until Hannah stopped begging, believed she had received though she did not have it yet in the natural, and was “no more sad,” only then did she partake of the banquet and obtain what was already given.
But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:25-26.
You have only to speak out My Promises, which are all on the table I offer you, with the joy of faith and know you have it on the table, for if you find it in My Word it is yours by your Covenant with Me.
And once you have received it from the table, enforce it. Cast your care on Me, receive the Word, and run with it. Like Jehoshaphat when faced with the attack of three enemy armies that outnumber the people of Judah. He came to My house, to My table, with all the people and they had their eyes on Me to eat from the table. I served them the Word they needed and they thanked Me with the voice of thanksgiving by throwing themselves down in worship upon the ground with joyful shouts of victory and ran out to enforce the Word against the enemy. They could hardly wait to get out there and enforce the Word I had given them to take down the enemy. For I watch over My Word to perform it when you confess it and return it to Me with your mouth. And you heart must be engaged as well. You must know it is your Word and that I am your God and I am on your side for the battle is Mine and the victory is yours. And I already won it for you in Jesus, My Word to you.
You have to feed to fight. Because then it is no fight at all, it is just enforcing the victory you already have over whatever symptom, trial, storm, illness, pain, temptation or the like that is trying to steal your Word. You must stay at the table in the sight of your foes.
Never retreat, take My Word and go the front line. Like Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah against the three enemy armies, like David against Goliath, and like Paul and Silas in prison for preaching the gospel. They all came to the table with songs of praise and got just the help they needed.
Once you know you have it, run toward the enemy to knock him out. Once you know the Word is yours, every one of My magnificent promises is there for you on the table I set before you, take it, eat it, declare it, live it, and have it. Do not be skimpy at the banquet, take it ALL.
I invite you to the marriage feast I set out for you in My Son, but you choose whether you will respond to the invitation and come to the table and once you have come you decide what you take and how much you eat.
I have given you every spiritual blessing in Heaven and your table is set with them, it is time that you became a partaker and not an observer, or worse yet, one who rejects the invitation to go after the things of the world. My people perish for lack of knowledge, for there is a famine in the land for My Word. Just look around on your streets and you will see people starved for lack of My Word languishing and perishing for lack of the truth and the source of all fruitfulness, healing, joy, prosperity and peace. Yes, My Word. Come to the table and bring others with you.
Then he said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.’ Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests. Matthew 22:8-10.
But make sure you bring them properly dressed for the marriage feast, yes, clothed in Christ. Lead them to and feed them with the prayer of Salvation. Romans 10:8-10
“But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. Matthew 22:11-12.
Do not just look at My Word on the table and say how beautiful it is. Many people admire Scripture passages and say how lovely they are, they even have favorite verses, such as Psalm 23, Psalm 103, Isaiah 53:5, or Philippians 4:19, but they never take them and enforce them as applying to their lives. They do not eat them and speak them as their own treasure. I AM YOUR GOD AND MY WORDS ARE FOR YOU! Understand that and take them into your life to bloom and produce the promise contained in My Word for you.
And do not just take one or two when you can take them all. Do not leave any of My benefits on the table, fill up with them all until you are the new creation in Christ I made you to be. My masterpiece living the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance here and when you are fully satisfied to just step over into eternity and keep right on enjoying every promise to a higher and higher degree in your new, glorious and immortal body—forever young, beautiful, and perfect. But start now.
I love you. I invite you to the table. Come and dine with Me and I with you. And the more eat the better you become. You can never overeat with My Word, for the more you eat, the healthier, stronger, younger and more beautiful you become.
