And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The Way is Jesus and I tell you that His Name shall be called Wonderful. The Way is wonderful.
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Isaiah 9:6-7.
Jesus shows you My perfect Will. And that is the Way. I created you anew in Christ Jesus. In Him you walk in newness of life.
“Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.
You are the work of My hands, and I form you anew in Christ Jesus for good works which I prepared beforehand that you should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. I empower you to bear fruit that remains, that endures.
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another. John 15:16-17.
Your earthly goods do not follow you to Heaven. People like to say, “You can’t take it with you.” But that is not quite correct. You take the deeds you have done in the body with you.
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.” Revelation 14:13.
Your fruit, the good works I planned and prepared for you, will be rewarded and determine the place you have in the eternal Kingdom. What you do matters now and forever.
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:21.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. 2 John 1:7-8.
If you notice I prepared the good works for you BEFOREHAND that you should walk in them. I already walked them to try them out and saw that they were good, very good, and that the supply you need and the skill and people you need are ready and waiting for you. Like I did for Moses and the people who I redeemed out of the slavery of Egypt to build My dwelling place among them. I had walked the way before I ever led them out.
Your way was in the sea and Your paths in the mighty waters, and Your footprints may not be known. You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron. Psalm 77:19-20.
In the same way that I prepared and made the world for you before I placed you in it. First I saw that it was good, pleasing, and perfect. I made everything for you to enjoy. I supplied everything necessary for you to be fruitful and gave you dominion authority to rule over the works of My hands. Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8:6. And I placed the first man and woman formed by Me in a garden. I had planted that garden for them, filled with delightful things, and told them to guard and cultivate it and fill the whole world with the beauty of that garden.
Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:7-8.
But he failed to do My perfect Will that was all planned for his life. And his life became far from perfect and was never complete, it became painful toil and futile. But it does not have to be like that. You can know and live My perfect Will in your life now and forever. I do not make it difficult to find. It is all in My Word.
“For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.” Deuteronomy 30:11-14.
There are three things I speak of often in the Bible that you will need to do My perfect Will (which is the hundredfold harvest), and those three come together. Do you know of what I am speaking? Wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established, and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4.
Wisdom is the principal thing. Proverbs 4:7. And the good news is that I have made Christ wisdom to you, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30. He is My gift to you and He is My Word. John 3:16; John 1:14. I have anointed your mind. I have given you the mind of Christ, the Messiah, the anointed one. 1 Corinthians 2:16. And He is the Way, the head of the Body, and in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3.There is no reason, with your roots deep in Him, that you cannot walk in My perfect Will which is My wisdom for your life. Colossians 2:6-10.
Knowledge is knowing how to do something or knowing a fact or an answer to a problem. It gives you skill to do your job, cook a meal, draw a picture, add up or multiply numbers, sew a dress, or use a computer. Understanding goes further, it means you not only have knowledge about something, but you know how it works and you can put all the parts together. Things you do on your job become more than rote (just copying what others are doing) when you understand the why of what you are doing. You may know how to drive a car, but you may not understand how the transmission works.
No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. John 15:15.
The Israelites did not complete the plan I had for them because though they saw My works, they never understood My ways. Not because My Word was not available to them but because they had no interest in knowing Me through My Word. And that is why many people, though they have knowledge of Me, never complete the perfect plan for their lives.
Wisdom rests on knowledge and understanding but it goes far beyond. Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do at the right time. True wisdom generates in Me. It has to do with discernment and prudence. There is heavenly wisdom, which is Mine, where I know the end from the beginning and can make all things work together as a whole in heaven and on earth. All creation is made to work together. I make all things work together for good for those who love Me and who have answered the call to live for the purpose for which they were created. Wisdom understands the signs of the times as a complete whole in the plan for the earth and the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit is My Spirit and He is the Spirit of Wisdom.
Wisdom tells you what and when to do things—it is the plan for your life, but in order to carry it out you need the skill to do it, for which you need to be diligent to acquire the knowledge needed as I direct, and to understand how to put it all together and understand how the parts work together to make the complete whole so that no detail is left out. And the good news is, like I did for Joseph in Egypt, I can give you the opportunities and the direction to acquire all three if you walk with Me.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice, and He preserves the way of His godly ones. Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity and every good course. Proverbs 2:6-9.
But the most important thing is the key to all this. And that is why those seeking wisdom from the world in godless philosophies, that is, in flesh and the carnal mind of man alone, have failed to find what they are searching for. Those, like Adam and Eve, who think wisdom like Mine to know the end from the beginning and understand all creation and know what to do and when to do it in a way that is good for all and has no evil in it is attainable apart from Me fail.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10.
What is the “fear of the LORD?” My Word defines it for you in many places and in different ways so that you get a complete understanding of it. First listen to My Spirit, the Spirit of Wisdom.
“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverted mouth, I hate. Counsel is Mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is Mine.” Proverbs 8:12-14.
As a man among you, Jesus walked in the fullness of the Spirit and as God among you, Jesus is My Word. Do you recall His baptism at the Jordan? Isaiah saw His glory and wrote about Jesus.
Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse [Jesus according to the flesh is from the stem of Jesse, being that Jesse was the father of David], and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:1-3.
As a man He walked in the “fear of the LORD” perfectly. It was His delight.
So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” John 8:28-29.
His one ambition was to please Me. And He did this by doing My Will, i.e., only what My Word taught Him and the works I showed Him. It was not hard for Him, it was His delight because He knew that eternal life was in My Word alone.
“I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:8; Hebrews 10:4-10.
“For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50.
The apostle Paul, through revelation of My Spirit, understood the “fear of the LORD.”
Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord—for we walk by faith, not by sight—we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. . .Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences. 2 Corinthians 5:6-11.
And finally let Me give you one more definition that sums them all up.
Those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be lightly esteemed. 1 Samuel 2:30.
Those who despise Me and teach others to do so, look back in history, are now lightly esteemed. Evil dictators and evil men in powerful positions that have no fear of Me before their eyes are not esteemed today. They murdered, slaughtered, ran over the backs of men, and oppressed peoples. Why? If you are not aligned with Me, which is being aligned with goodness and love, there is only one other master and that is the one Adam chose for the world, and Adam’s life went from glorious dominion to toilsome slavery to the evil he had embraced. Sin will destroy you—spirit, soul, and body. It will ravage your health and sap your strength, it will torment your mind, will, and emotions, it will make you fear losing your power and wealth, it will make you hate and envy, and it will turn you into a selfish, self-centered idolator.
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:13-18.
My Words are not idle words. They are your life. There is no wisdom and no understanding and no counsel against Me, Proverbs 21:30, for I have the truth and the truth will set you free. My Word is truth and building your life on the truth is wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
The LORD by wisdom founded the earth, by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up and the skies drip with dew. Proverbs 3:19-20.
Listen now to the Words of life breathed by My Spirit as the Spirit of Wisdom. He hovered at creation to bring the substance of My Words by My faith to manifest in the physical realm. And that is wisdom, knowledge and understanding working as one. And the good news is that you can work in those as well for you are in My image and according to My likeness. You can be transformed by the renewing of your mind in My Word to walk just as Jesus did in His humanity and He joins you now by the Holy Spirit poured in your heart with divinity, all My fullness in funneled into you through the humanity of Jesus, now glorified at My right hand (and you are there in Him).
“I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me. Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold, and my yield better than choicest silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice, to endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries. The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. From everlasting I was established, from the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills I was brought forth; while He had not yet made the earth and the fields, nor the first dust of the world. When He established the heavens, I was there, when He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep, when He made firm the skies above, when the springs of the deep became fixed, when He set for the sea its boundary so that the water would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth; then I was beside Him, as a master workman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him, rejoicing in the world, His earth, and having my delight in the sons of men. Now therefore, O sons, listen to me, for blessed are they who keep my ways. Heed instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorposts. For he who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD. But he who sins against me injures himself; all those who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:17-36.
I love you. That is enough for today’s life lesson. But you see again, your life now and forever is determined by one thing, whether there is the desire in your heart to honor Me by seeking to please Me in all your ways by keeping My Word as you walk the Way home to Me. Yes, the “fear of the LORD” is the beginning of wisdom and by it you learn to love good and hate evil. For My wisdom will give you the understanding and knowledge of My perfect Will for your life.
