And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A way is not a one-time event, it is the path of your life.
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17.
To get to your destination you need to stay on the Way and not turn off it to the right or the left.
Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:24-27.
Jesus is the Way and it is the Way of daily consecration, sanctification, and revelation. The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that shines brighter and brighter as you walk along until the full and perfect day. Proverbs 4:18.
That is the lifestyle of the path of the ascent. It is always going higher where Christ is seated at My right hand. You are there if you are born again, for when I raised Him, I raised you up and seated you there with Him. So since you are there in spirit, you might as well walk in the spirit. But you may be thinking that you are still in the flesh upon this earth as far as your physical location goes. But even though you are in the world, I have good news for you, you are not of the world, you are in Christ and He is in you and you have overcome the world with Him.
Jesus told you certain things you must do to stay walking in the spirit and to be on the ascent to your high calling in Him in your assignment upon the earth in this window of time before you cross over to the perfect day.
First, check out why you are still on the earth and be sure you are about Kingdom business. Jesus tells you:
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
Clothed in power from on high you are to proclaim the good news of salvation to every land, place, and people starting right where you are and going on to the end of the earth. You who believe in Jesus are all members of the Body of Christ on earth, because He is not here on earth as one like you as He was before His death and resurrection. Now, as I sent Him, so He sends you to go and seek out the lost and be ambassadors for My Kingdom on the earth. And a certain type of ambassadors, ambassadors of reconciliation.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
You are to be doing the works Jesus did and greater as His representative on earth, His very body, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, and calming storms. Mark 16:17-18.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14.
You are to be telling the good news of Salvation and of the Kingdom and bringing all to the new birth in Jesus. You can seek out and save the lost and lead them to being born again from above, saved forever.
Jesus has entrusted you with a very sacred assignment that you can do anywhere and everywhere, He has made you a kingdom, priests unto Me, to join Him in His prayers of intercession at the mercy seat in Heaven. This is a very high calling and many souls are dependent on your exercising this authority to release My saving power into the world to achieve My heart’s desire that all people be saved and come to know the truth.
To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6.
And the redeemed in Heaven receive those prayers to set before Me and cannot stop praising Me for so wonderful a calling:
Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slain, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:8-10.
Even the angels get involved in your prayer on earth:
Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Revelation 8:3-5.
Paul and Silas singing and praying in the jail at Philippi and the early church gathered together with Peter and John praying to boldly proclaim the Gospel despite the threats by the chief priests to not to speak or preach using the Name of Jesus experienced this quaking of the earth as they prayed. And the result in both instances was many new salvations as hearts were born again, moved by My power.
And the instruction of how to walk so powerfully and experience all My magnificent promises is the same as the instructions I gave Joshua as he was going in to take the promised land so that his way would be prosperous and successful:
Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9.
I repeat it again to Solomon:
My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight. Keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:20-23.
And I give you a third witness in My Word of these instructions to keep you on the Way of the Word, for Jesus is the Word made flesh dwelling among you.
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3.
And these result in your bearing much fruit by remaining in My Word and My Word remaining in you like a fruitful branch on the vine of Christ. And you know that when you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciple, and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. It is My desire that in every area of your life you prosper and are in good health, even as your soul prospers by walking in the truth.
You must renew your mind to walk the Way with joy in peace. You must renew your mind with My Word so that you know that you are a new creation in Christ, that you have a new destiny (the Kingdom of Heaven) in Him, that you are in a new position (above and not beneath seated with Jesus at My right hand, and that you have new benefits, that is, every blessing in the spiritual realm and every benefit listed in Psalm 103:1-5.
And when you know these things, you are bold to face any challenge, trial, mountain or storm because you know how it will turn out—you have the victory in Christ Jesus your Lord who overcame the world and sat down at My right hand and you in Him.
The Way is a lifestyle of praise and thanksgiving for everything is yours for life and godliness, there is no room for fear when you are so full of good things. And when you praise and give thanks the more you increase in joy and in peace and good things can flow your way for you to reach out and take in. It is a lifestyle of worship in spirit and in truth as you return to Zion singing on the Highway of Holiness. It is only for those that walk the Way. I is only for the redeemed.
Jesus told you the tremendous importance of your thoughts and words, for the mouth speaks what is filling your heart. And the words you speak can acquit or condemn you. I will hold you accountable for every idle word you speak. Your speech must be intentional for death and life are in the hand of your tongue and you will eat the fruit thereof. Speak life that you and your descendants may live.
I love you . If you want to walk the Way as it was meant to be for you, then you must be vigilant to watch your thoughts and your words and to guard your heart. Jesus is the high priest of YOUR confession (homologia—speaking in total oneness of agreement with Him) and He will watch over your Word to bring it to Me to perform it.
