We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the veil, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20.
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
May the love of God our Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the partnership of the Holy Spirit be with you! With joy we will draw water, living water, from the springs of salvation! If you but knew the Gift of God you would ask Jesus for a drink and He would pour into your heart the fullness of God, the Holy Spirit, to be with you and in you forever!
Our meeting for November is tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the St. Damien House at the St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley, 3351 Kalihi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. Hope you will come to enjoy God’s Word and draw water joyfully at the springs of Salvation as we celebrate the LORD in thanksgiving and so much more. Please bring a dish to share if you can.
Starting in December, our monthly meetings will be every third Sunday of the month at a new location. In answer to many requests, we are back downtown Honolulu! We will be meeting in the meeting room on the second floor of Kukui Plaza Diamond Head Tower that you enter on Fort Street (although the address is listed as 55 South Kukui Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813) just about one block up from the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace towards the mountains (you cross Beretania by the fire station and continue on up the block until you reach the building towards the end of the block on your left side, it is 32 stories high and has a circular driveway out front, but you should not park there, unless you need handicap parking as you could be towed). It is a location easily accessible to many buses and if you are driving, just park at Century Square, the same parking lot you use for the Cathedral and the Kamiano Center, and it is free to park there on Sundays for the entire day. The meeting room has kitchen, bathrooms, air conditioning and plenty of space and can hold 67 people. But you do need to tell us in advance if you are coming because we must give a guest list to the security guard who is at the front desk in the lobby when you enter and only those whose names are on the list will be given entrance. I also need your names for our December meeting, which will be December 15, 2019, because we are ordering a gift of holy anointing oil for each person who comes to that meeting which will be shipped from Jerusalem and I will need to order very soon to receive them, I will only order enough for those who will be at the meeting, so let me know ASAP if you are coming.
Each day is an adventure in His goodness. I can hardly wait each day to see the answer to every prayer. God gives each one of us an open door and a window of time. It is awesome. Make every moment count. And what He opens no one can shut. And our Father has opened a new and living way for you right to His throne of grace and no one can shut you out. (Read Hebrews 10:19-22) You have direct access 24/7 to our loving Father, who is the Most High and Almighty God, in the very Holy of Holies. Your anchor of hope that reaches beyond the veil.
Are you taking advantage of so great a salvation? Or are you going to continue in confusion? Life does not have to be so complicated if you learn how to consult and lean on the Lord. To live a truly victorious and restful life you have to learn how to inquire of the Lord for direction, for answers, for solutions, for the things you desire, and for discernment. In other words, you must become aware of His presence, the Holy Spirit within, and learn how to hear, follow and discern direction. You need to learn His ways and how to ask to always receive, for He tells us that everyone who asks receives and He tells us how.
As many as are children of God (mature children) are led by His Spirit. And you can be too. But you have to grow up. Spiritually, that is, not just physically. You can be quite mature physically, but spiritually, as the apostle Paul warned the Corinthians, be immature, likened to a baby. And babies cannot understand on the level of mature adults nor perform fruitful works.
Many of us do not really know how to pray as we ought. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us to truth and teach us all things, we need Him to show us how to draw the things in the spirit that God has freely given us into the material world.
It is sad but many people actually pray like God is their enemy. This may sound surprising, but when we act like we have to beg and persuade God to do something good for us we do not know who He is or the tremendous gifts He has freely given us in Christ. We don’t need to beg for the good things He has promised us, but just receive them with joy from the spring of Salvation.
And many do not know how to receive. And never seek God’s input or advice on the matter of how to obtain what they are seeking. They do not come with confidence and they do not know His Word, even if they have heard it. And they do not know His voice. But children know their parent’s voice. God’s children know His voice. Even sheep know their shepherd’s voice and follow him when he calls them to lead them out and lead them in. If they can do that, we can do far more.
If you think outside of faith, you are thinking like the world system. And love of the world system is enmity to God. Why? The world does not agree with what God says. It speaks lack and despair. It looks only at human strength. It is locked into the realm of the five senses and does not see behind the veil. It does not see through the windows of faith. But it should not be that way with you who believe. You have an anchor of hope beyond the veil.
In Jesus, every promise God makes in the Bible is “yes” to you. Yet many approach God as if it is “no.” He gave you His beloved Son to live your life through Him, won’t He give you everything He is and has? His fullness dwells in Jesus in bodily form, the complete fullness of divinity, and in Him YOU have been made COMPLETE, that is full, lacking in nothing. Colossians 2:9-10. In Him, the Father has blessed you with EVERY spiritual blessing in the Heaven. Ephesians 1:3. And there is no lack, pain, illness, fear or depression in Heaven, there is only abundance of all that is good, pleasing and perfect, and that is His Will for you. Romans 12:2. It is time you found out
what you have and reach out in confidence to take it and draw it into your life. When you think and act like who God says you are, it is then you enter into His rest with Him and live the life that is life indeed! And the Father will complete the good work He has begun in you if you will let Him. Have you never read, “Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21.
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7. And how did you receive Him? By faith. Faith that God had given you salvation in Him. And all you did is reach out and take it by agreeing with God’s promise of forgiveness, cleansing, and eternal life to those who have confessed Jesus as Lord. You did not have to feel anything, you just believed and received your salvation. And that is the same with all God’s magnificent promises that He gives us throughout the Bible.
The apostle Peter wrote this truth to you, and showed you clearly it is by faith, but it has to be informed faith that has a true knowledge of who God is and what He has done for you, “To those who have received a like precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” 2 Peter 1:1-4.
And what are these magnificent promises that make you a partaker of His Divine nature and life? That fill your cup to overflowing? That anoint your head with oil, the oil of joy and give you wisdom and knowledge? For in Christ are ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Well, to mention a few, God promises you healing, peace, joy, provision, prosperity, guidance, protection, deliverance, redemption, forgiveness, salvation, vindication, shalom, wisdom, redemption, sanctification, righteousness, and eternal life, and many more magnificent promises besides. These should be enough to make you rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks knowing that these are His Will for you and His free gifts to you in Christ Jesus your Lord.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
Come tomorrow and join together in giving thanks to the One to whom we owe everything, even every breath we take! It is good to give Him thanks, it multiplies His promises in your life.
Our prison ministry, TV ministry, home for the homeless ministry are all growing! It is time for us all to grow into the mature believer that does the works Jesus did and greater as His Body in the earth! Our own precious Leilani has designed the perfect logo for our new title “CIA,” Christ in Action, as His body on the earth, so if you are a believer you are a member of the CIA! And I have seen many salvations this week on the streets, in hallways, elevators, and wherever we are in Honolulu to witness to those who may not know Him and be looking for the Light! We are going to have T-shirts made so if you want one, and I think you will when you see the amazing logo, we will start taking orders soon for various sizes. If you want a hoodie or tote, you could tell us too. I will check pricing. Time for Christmas giving is soon and it is nice to give the gifts that are eternal.
