Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Revelation 1:4-6.
For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50.
“Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:21-22.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Jesus Christ, the faithful witness. Revelation 1:5; Revelation 3:14. And He Himself tells you what it means to be a faithful witness. He did not speak from Himself but as I who sent Him told Him to speak. He spoke only My Words because they are Words of eternal life. He said, “I know that His commandment is eternal life, therefore the things I speak I speak just as the Father told Me.” John 12:49-50. The word for “commandment” in the original Greek is “entole” which is made up from the words which mean “in the end” meaning My Words focus on an end result which is eternal life. And you will note commandment is singular there.
Every fact in your life is established by two or three witnesses. Jesus is the faithful and true witness. He witnesses with My Word. He spoke only My Words. He spoke Words of Spirit and Life. John 6:63. I sent Him, and as I sent Him so He sends you. John 20:21. He told you that you shall be His witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8.
You overcome the devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. What are you testifying to? If you want to overcome it must be to My Word. Testify that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. For when you receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness you reign in life through Christ Jesus. Romans 5:17. And how do you receive? By confessing with your mouth. For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:10. You witness with My Word. You believe and so you speak. That is the spirit of faith and that makes you a faithful witness.
And the testimony of the Holy Spirit is that I have forgiven all your sins and iniquities and remember them no more. Hebrews 10:15-17. And He testifies to Jesus, and so will you who believe when the Spirit fills your heart. John 15:26-27. That is what happened to everyone in the upper room on Pentecost Sunday when they got filled with the Holy Spirit. They all testified to Jesus. Just read how Peter, who once denied My Son out of fear, fearlessly addressed the crowd. He had received the power from on High that makes you become a witness. You can’t help it when you get filled with My joy, love and peace. You want to share it. You become a witness.
But it is not automatic. You must deny yourself in the sense of what you speak. If you are wise and want My promises, miracles and power in your life so that you live a life of blessing to yourself and others, you must speak only in line with My Words as Jesus did. And you have seen the result in His life. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil for I anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power and I was with Him. Acts 10:38. For I never left Him alone for He always did what pleased Me. Remember when He told you that? He told the Pharisees who were questioning Him as to His authority but did not believe in Him: “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” So they were saying to Him, “Who are You?” Jesus said to them, “What have I been saying to you from the beginning. I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world.” They did not realize that He had been speaking to them about Me, the Father. So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” John 8:23-29.
It is well pleasing to Me when you refuse to accuse, blame, fear, and grumble and instead stand up and proclaim My Word of forgiveness, compassion, courage, and praise. Prophesy with My Word. Declare yourself healed, forgiven, beloved, well provided for, protected, blessed and guided. But above all declare yourself righteous with My own righteousness in Jesus. It is receiving this gift with the unmerited favor of My abundant grace that goes with it that will empower you to reign in life through My Son. And you receive grace through faith. And faith works by love.
In the Psalms David tells you the truth that there is no unrighteousness in Me. And if you are the righteousness of God in Christ then there is no unrighteousness in you. You may have sinned today but if you are in Christ Jesus I continually impute righteousness to you and have put all your sins on Him, past, present and future, and His blood continuously cleanses you of all iniquity. Your sins and offenses I remember no more under the New Covenant for those of you in Christ Jesus. You are clothed in Christ. You are clothed in the garments of Salvation and the robe of righteousness.
Let Me show you My Word on these as My prophet David wrote it under inspiration of the Holy Spirit: The righteous (and so are you in Christ Jesus, not by your works, but by the works of Jesus that you receive as a gift under grace) will flourish like the palm tree, they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age. They shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that “The LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Psalm 95:12-15. And if you are in Christ Jesus, you are righteous with My righteousness and there is no unrighteousness in you. I see you holy and blameless in Christ Jesus since before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4. You are justified by His blood. Just as if you had never sinned. Witness with that. For My Holy Spirit witnesses with your spirit that you are children of God, and My heirs, joint heirs with Christ, the firstborn of many brethren. And in Him you cry out to Me, “Abba, Father!”
Start saying the Words I say to you and refusing to speak what comes from your flesh. For the flesh believes only what it sees, but the spirit believes My good report and goes forward. Like the army of Judah under Jehoshaphat. The circumstances looked terrible and like certain defeat, but they turned to Me and got a good report from My prophet and they believed My Word and went forward against insurmountable odds and had a most glorious victory. Not by human power, not by human might, but by My Spirit! And I said that so say it with Me. Witness. Be a faithful (faith filled) witness. Refuse to speak the plans of the enemy and speak My plans for your life, plans for your shalom and not evil for a future and a hope. Plans for provision, for healing, for health, for joy, for amazing adventures, and for a wonderfully fruitful life.
And above all witness, testify, to My Son. For it is in Him that all your sins are forgiven as if they had never happened. It is in Him that you have eternal life. And it is in Him that all my glorious promises to you are “Yes.” And it is in Him that you have protection, direction, and perfection.
Who are you witnessing with? Is it My Word or your word? Do not be like the Israelites that I redeemed out of Egypt who witnessed against My promise of victory in the Promised Land and remained in the mediocrity of the dry wilderness all their lives when they could have been living a life of abundance and every blessing in a land flowing with milk and honey. Sad. It actually made Me angry with them that they refused to witness with Me and receive so much blessing. My Son came to give you abundant life, won’t you receive it by your witness? I would like to make your cup overflow.
I love you. Watch your words and you will be wise. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from the pit. Please make use of My Words. They are the Sword of the Spirit. Wield them with authority. It is My Word that crushes the devil’s power in your life. The battle is Mine. I watch over My Words to perform them. Give Me the opportunity by speaking My Words rather than those of the world, the flesh and the devil. It will save you from a lot of heartache. But if you have witnessed wrong in your life remember that My Son came to heal the broken hearted. And life and death are in the power of your tongue. Speak life (and My Words are spirit and life) that you and your descendants may live.
