Has not My hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the LORD. “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at My Word.” Isaiah 66:2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
David sang: “O LORD let Your face shine upon us and we shall be saved!” When My face is shining on you, and I am Light so I do shine, you have everything. My eyes are on My faithful ones to feed them in time of famine and give them grace in time of need. I am present as your helper, provider, protector, redeemer, Father, and LORD. I Am a very present help in times of trouble.
But if you will note from reading My Word some people seemed to have more of My attention than others. And you are right. Remember Noah alone in his age found grace and was blameless in My eyes. And David was a man after My own heart. And I favored Paul even when he was Saul by revealing My Son to him.
You may be wondering how you get My attention turned on YOU above others. How do you say with the bride in Song of Songs, “I was in His Eyes one who finds shalom (completeness, soundness, welfare, peace, favor, prosperity in every area of your life, and welcome at My throne).” Song of Songs 8:10.
Well, go to My Word and you will find out. My Word contains all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. There is not one area in your life that My Word does not address. If you don’t know that you have never read My Word with My Holy Spirit guiding you to all truth. It is time for you to begin the adventure of My Word.
I tell you that My eyes roam to and fro across the earth looking for those whose hearts are towards (the word is “shalem” in Hebrew, which means wholly devoted, at peace with, friendly towards, and resting in Me) Me to show Myself strong (“chazaq”: to strengthen, maintain, sustain, have hold of) on their behalf. 2 Chronicles 16:9.
There is the secret to the difference between an ordinary, empty life filled with anxiety, lack and weakness, and an extraordinary, fruitful life filled with peace, provision and strength. It is an affair of your heart. You cannot serve two masters.
The secret is a heart towards Me. For I do not look at the outward appearance but the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7.
I am seeking your heart. And that is where My eyes are looking and that is where My Son is knocking. Revelation 3:20. I look for hearts towards Me that I can trust with great works for My Kingdom. John 2:24. And everything is added to them besides. Matthew 6:33.
I am looking for hearts full of My Word. For where your heart is treasure is, there your heart will also be. Matthew 6:21. Do you know why Mary was so highly favored and entrusted with the greatest work man has ever done? She treasured My Word in her heart and her one desire was that it be done in her life. Luke 2:19; Luke 2:51, Luke 1:38; Luke 1:45; Luke 1:55; John 2:5. Do you feel like that? Have you even read My Word? I entrusted great revelations to Jeremiah about his present day (the captivity in Babylon) and about future events (the New Covenant). Why? Listen to his words: “When Your Words were found, I devoured them, and Your Words became the joy and delight of My heart.” Jeremiah 15:16. My Word had been forgotten by Israel and Jeremiah’s father, the high priest Hilkiah, found My Words dusty and unused in My house (the Temple built by Solomon) and brought them to the king. 2 Kings 22:8-10.
My face shines upon those who love My Word. All that they do prospers. Psalm 1:3. In keeping My Word there is great wisdom and protection and great reward. Psalm 19:11.
Seek My face. When My attention is on you, you will be blessed and all of Heaven is open to you. And how do you seek My face? In My Word. My light shines in your hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of My glory (the manifestation of My goodness, My power and My presence) in the Face of Christ, who is My Word made flesh. 2 Corinthians 4:6; John 1:14. My Words are living and active. Hebrews 4:12. And My Words give life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22.
Just read Psalm 119. Do you find My Word that exciting? If you really know My Word so well that My Word speaks to you, then you do.
Be mindful of Me in all your ways and I will direct and make straight your paths. And how are you mindful of Me? By keeping My Words before you and in your heart as you way of thinking, living and speaking. We become like-minded. You are in My image and likeness so it is not hard for you, for that is really who you are. Love and light. Like Me. When you walk and live in darkness separated from My life you are not happy but you become depressed, afraid, and prone to evil—such as outbursts of rage, violence, addictions, stress, lust, and malicious words and deeds. You are just on the wrong channel and you need to redirect your heart.
And My Son explains to you that when you love Him you keep (the word here in the original Greek in which the New Testament was written is the word “tereo,” which means to watch over, guard, keep intact) His Word and I will love you and My Son and I will come to you and make Our dwelling (in Greek “monay”: abode, mansion, dwelling place) (the same word used in John 14:2) with you. John 14:23.
And when I am with you, who can be against you? Romans 8:31. I show Myself strong on your behalf.
I made all things and brought all into being, but to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit and who trembles at My Word. Isaiah 66:2. Do you tremble with delight when you hear My Word? Do you have a desire to please Me no matter where you are? That is fear of the LORD and not of man. Daniel had that. He had no fear of men even to the point of denying their attempts to make him deny Me and worship an idol when they threatened (and did) throw him in a den of hungry lions. But He did fear Me in the sense that He would rather die than deny Me. He loved My intimacy with him and hearing My Word more than life. And that is how you overcome the devil’s tactics and the world. Your faith in My Word to you. Which is My love and everlasting life. You are forgiven and blessed in Christ. Know that and live that Word in your heart. Because you have loved Jesus, My gift to you, and all I give you in Him, I love you and give My Kingdom to you. Forever.
It all has to do with keeping My Word in your heart and making it your way of life. That is the first parable My Son told. About the seed that was scattered on the ground by the sower. Only those who heard it and cultivated it in their hearts by trust in it whether the circumstances looked good or bad bore a harvest of thirty, sixty and hundredfold. How much fruit there is in your life is dependent on how much attention you give to My Word. And those who give attention to My Word have My full attention. I honor those who honor Me. 1 Samuel 2:30.
Read Psalm 1. Read Joshua 1:7-8. Read Psalm 112. And you will see what I mean.
I once told Moses that I would surely hide My face in the day when the Israelites would turn to other gods. Deuteronomy 31:18. And I did. They forgot My Word and no longer honored it or kept it. It became distasteful to them. And yet it is sweeter than honey dripping from the comb and filled with awesome promises. But just read Deuteronomy 32 and find out when I hid My face from the Israelites. But when you are in Christ, My face is never hidden to you and you can turn your heart to Me at any time and expect a miracle of blessing. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened to you. But you have to ask. You have to seek. And you have to knock. Otherwise, nothing will happen. To be truly fruitful you have to remain in My Word and let My Word remain in you.
The only way to My Heart is My Word.
I love you. Won’t you let Me perform miracles in your life? It may be time to turn your heart away from yourself and the world and focus on My Word. From the fullness of your heart, your mouth speaks. What have you been filling your heart with lately? It is whatever you are reading, watching, listening to, and speaking. Be careful what you hear. Guard your heart with all diligence for in it are the issues of life.
