For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 2 Peter 1:16.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

The mystery of majesty. David sang, “LORD (YHWH), our Lord (Adonai), how majestic is Your name in all the earth!” Psalm 8:1. I am clothed with splendor and majesty, covering Myself with light as with a cloak. And I have made you in My image and likeness and crowned you with glory and majesty and given you rule over the works of My hands. Psalm 8:4-6.

Majesty. It is defined as impressive stateliness, dignity, and beauty. It also signifies royal power, sovereignty, and authority. I have given you rule over the works of My hands and clothed you in My own glory and beauty. And I have given you My Name and the Name of My Son. Majestic Names of dominion and power. Names that give you beauty for your ashes and save you from the power of the realm of darkness. Names of authority, dominion and power. Majestic Names. And in Jesus you are part of the royal family that takes My Name as your own. My temple, My sanctuary, My glory.

Solomon wanted to build Me a majestic temple in which to dwell among My people. But I had promised his father David something far greater. Through My prophet Nathan, I revealed to David, “Moreover, I tell you that the LORD will build a house for you. When your days are fulfilled that you must go with your fathers, then I will set up your seed after you, who will be from your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father and he shall be My son; and I will not take My favor away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. But I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.” 1 Chronicles 17:10-13.

You know now of whom I was speaking. My Word has many layers and its fulfillment is near and far. Solomon supposed this was referring to him, and he did build a magnificent temple according to the plans and resources I gave David that David prepared for him, but Solomon was not the fulfillment of the greater work. Indeed, Solomon, by the way he turned aside from Me in his later years, began the destruction of the very temple he had built. He broke Covenant with Me and did not repent. The true descendant of David I was speaking of was the promised seed of the woman that would crush the devil’s power, the root and offspring of David, who would build a house for Me of which He would be the chief cornerstone and His Body the edifice.

Let Me take you to the Words of Jesus Himself on this mystery hidden from ages past but revealed to My holy apostles by My Holy Spirit in these last days. When Jesus was walking the earth as a descendant of David according to the flesh, the Passover was near so Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Within the temple grounds He found those who were selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away from here; stop making My Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it was written: “Zeal for Your house will consume me.” The Jews then said to Jesus, “What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and yet You will raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking about the temple of His body. So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken. John 2:13-22.

The temple of the Body of My Son. A dwelling place of the Spirit. A sanctuary filled with all the fullness of God bodily. I revealed this mystery to My apostle Paul, and he wrote to your edification by the Spirit, “And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:17-22. A house in which I dwell. My house and a gate to Heaven. A majestic house of splendor filled with beauty and light so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9.  For I rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14. And He is the head of the Body, the church, and I, as I promised David, settled Him in My house and in My kingdom forever, and His throne will be established forever. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And I put all things in subjection under His feet and made Him head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23.

Unless I build the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1. Actually Solomon penned that song and it is true. My voice once shook the earth at Mt. Sinai as I gave the people My law and then gave Moses the plans for the dwelling place, My first temple on earth to dwell among men, but when the Israelites returned from Babylon to rebuild My temple I have promised, “For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of Hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of Hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of Hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of Hosts.” Haggai 2:6-8. This too has many layers and reaches near and far. It speaks of the Prince of Peace and the glory of His Body the Church, My dwelling place in the Spirit, which He sanctifies, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:26-27. Christ nourishes and cherishes the church because you who believe are parts of His body. Ephesians 5:29-30.  Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven. This denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Like Abraham, you are “looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” Hebrews 11:10. And of that heavenly City of which you are citizens in Christ and which will come to join with earth in the last day, John wrote, “I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.” Revelation 21:22-23. You have received a kingdom which cannot be shaken. Hebrews 12:26-29.

Yes, raise up the third temple in three days, the temple of the Body of Christ. Majestic in splendor. Unshakeable and blessed with Christ Himself as the Head.

You are My building. 1 Corinthians 3:9.

I love you. Raise the tabernacle of praise. I am all about building projects and the edifice of your life on the foundation stone of My Word, Jesus Himself, the chief cornerstone that lines up all the rest, is My primary project in your life and should be yours too. Be like a wise master builder and build with My Spirit as your guide. And unless I build the house you labor in vain and will be on a shaky foundation. Let Me equip you for every good work and word. You are being built into that amazing edifice which is My dwelling place in the Spirit. You are always advancing on Kingdom territory for the Kingdom is within you. Walk in majesty.

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5
