The LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. Numbers 6:25.
God be gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us— Selah. Psalm 67:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I cleanse you and make you beautiful in My Son. In My Word made flesh, I stooped to make you great—holy, blameless, pure, a person of excellence. How do I cleanse and purify you in Him? Three ways: Blood, Light, and Word.
Let us begin with Light, for that is how it all began. “Light be!” and Light was, life for the light of men. And that first light released was not the luminaries of the sun, moon, and stars, those I created on the fourth day, it was the Light of life, for I am Light and the Father of lights. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overpower it.” John 1:1-4. And Jesus verifies: “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.
Light. Life. Today scientists are just touching on how light heals, creates, cuts sharper than a two edged sword, in your inventions with laser, even to remove wrinkles. Sounds like My Word doesn’t it? My Word is the Light of the world. I taught Moses the priestly blessing for Aaron and his sons to say over the Israelites so that they would put My Name on the people and I would bless them. And what was that blessing that put My Name on them? The light shining from My face. “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (shalom).” Numbers 6:24-26. David understood, if he could just get My face to shine on him, he would be saved, “Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; save me in Your lovingkindness.” Psalm 31:16. As My face shone on Moses, his face shone back in reflection of My glory, but that was a fading glory on him, but now, you have the Light of the world in you—Christ in you, your hope of glory. “For God, who said, ‘Light shall shine out of darkness,’ is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6. And what does that Light do for you? Heals, saves, and drives out all the darkness within you. Darkness cannot overcome Light. Light cleanses, for where it shines in it turns all to light. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings (kaneph—extremities, can be the edges of one’s garment, wings, hands, and I have used all of those to heal you).
I am Light, and in Me there is no darkness at all. If you say that you have fellowship with Me and yet walk in the darkness you are not practicing the truth, for how can light and darkness join together? But if you walk in the Light as I Myself am in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus My Son cleanses you from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7. When you come in the Light of My Son His blood cleanses you of all your sins and faults; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord Jesus; walk as children of Light, for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them to the Light. But be careful how you walk, for even to speak of the things which are done in the cover of darkness can cause uncleanness in your thoughts and words. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. So, I say to you, “Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:8-14. There you are again, back to the blessing I taught Moses.
And now let us consider the blood of My Son. There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood, for the life is in the blood, and thus it makes atonement. It is a life for a life and Adam killed the eternal life in you by his mortal sin, but after he did that, all his descendants had the same flaw and did not have an eternal life with which to pay for the one you lost. That is why Jesus came of virgin birth conceived by the seed of My implanted Word that has the power to save you. And He then had an eternal life to give, which He did. He bore your sins, iniquities, lawless deeds, sickness, and pains in His own body. He went to the dust of death for you by taking your sentence of condemnation. And He paid your ransom from the slavery to sin and death by His eternal blood. Thus satisfying divine justice and justifying you before Me as if you had NEVER sinned. For I accounted your sins to Him and accounted His righteousness to you. And you have washed your robes and made them clean and pure in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14. Though your sins were red as crimson, I have cleansed you white as snow. In Him, you have redemption by His blood the forgiveness of all your sins. And by His blood I transferred you out of the realm of darkness into My own marvelous Light, into the Kingdom of My beloved Son. I reconciled you to Myself by the blood of His cross, not counting your sins against you but putting them all on Him, so that you are cleared, clean, pure, and blameless before Me, beyond reproach. I have cleansed and purified you. Let no one call impure or unclean that which I have cleansed and purified in the blood of My Son. See yourself that way. It is no longer your fault, but His, He has lifted the burden of sin, guilt, and shame from you. Shame covered His face so that you could gaze upon Me with unveiled face. Look up at Me and be radiant and your face will not blush with shame.
And now the Water. Jesus told His disciples they were clean (purged, pruned, purified) by the Word He had spoken to them. Jesus cleanses and sanctifies you each as members of His body the Church, which is also His bride, having cleansed you by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-26. You are saved by the blood, transferred into the Light where the blood continually cleanses you as you journey through the trials of this world, and then the Word transforms you from glory to glory by the renewing of your mind to think as I do—thoughts of Light. Renewing your mind to My Word will put you walking in the Light. Why? “This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:19-21.
Jesus prayed for those who believed in His Name that I would sanctify them in truth and My Word is truth. You are transformed by the renewing of your mind. And this is the process of growing up spiritually. First you are saved by the blood, then you walk with Me in the light (hiding nothing of your sins but exposing them in My light, for if you confess your sins to Me, I am faithful and righteous to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness in the blood of My Son), and then you are transformed again to My image and excellence by renewing your mind by reading, hearing, speaking, meditating upon, and doing My Word. If you change your thoughts to thoughts like Mine that you learn from My Word, you will be transformed.
If you continue in My Word you are truly My disciple, and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Free like Jesus. Free like Me. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
And your life will be fruitful and one of excellence. You will not have to hide anything in the dark, all will be light, for you are the light of the world. Why? Because He is in you and the revelation of My Word sheds Light. The Light of life.
Then let Him be gracious to him, and say, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’; Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor. Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, that he may see His face with joy, and He may restore His righteousness to man. He will sing to men and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.’ Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men, to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life.” Job 33:24-30.
I love you. Receive Jesus as your Lord, your light, and your salvation. And through Him, I shine My face upon you. In Him, you are clean, pure, and holy. Remember—the light, the blood and the Word. These will make you perfect and complete forever. I take pleasure in My people; I beautify the afflicted ones with Salvation (Yeshuah, Jesus). Psalm 149:4.
In the light of a king’s face is life, and his favor is like a cloud with the spring rain. Proverbs 16:15.
