Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. 1 John 5:5-6.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11.

For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite. Exodus 12:23.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

If you abide in Jesus and His Words abide in you, then you have the victory, but to walk in triumph with Him in this life you must enforce the victory, because there is a thief and a robber, the liar and the father of lies who deceives many, beginning with the first woman and man, and his main objective is to steal the Word from you. For he knows if you have the Word and continue in it you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. And what redeems you from the slavery of sin and death and cleanses you from all sin and the punishment due it? What shields you from the destroyer? The Blood of the Lamb. It set the people of Israel free from the slavery of Egypt and from divine judgment that fell as the result of the sins of that nation and brought them out laden with prosperity and strength.

Today I am continuing a series of life lessons on how to enforce the victory. You notice it is not on how to have the victory because if you have taken Jesus as your Lord and are abiding in Him and His Words are abiding in you, then you already have the victory. Now, if you have not received Jesus as your Lord, you do not have the victory and must do that first to have it. Why? Because if you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that I raised Him from the dead you have not been born again, are still in your sins, and are under the jurisdiction of the devil, the realm of darkness. When Adam agreed with the words of the devil over My Words he took a new father and master, which corrupted the seed of My Word from which he had been born into life and caused death to come to all men since all are descended from his seed. The devil stole My Word from him and took him captive to do his will by following a lie instead. So you must be born again by the seed of My incorruptible Word to become My child and be under the jurisdiction of, and have the benefits of, My Kingdom of light. “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Messiah is born of God . . . and whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.” 1 John 5:1-6.

But why is His blood so important, so precious, and so powerful that it cleanses you of sin, sets you free, stops the destroyer, and gives you the victory over the devil and his demons? It all goes back to what happened when Adam sinned against My Word. He chose death over life and murdered the eternal life he had and did the same for all his descendants according to the flesh. That is why I call the devil a murderer from the beginning and a liar and father of lies and liars. He was the instigator of Adam’s act of treason but it was Adam’s free choice to choose life or death, and he chose death. That is still the issue with each of you today. You all have to make that choice. But make sure that it is an informed choice, for if it is, you will always choose life. When Adam murdered the eternal life, so to speak, that was in him a law went into effect, and that is, a life for a life. To atone for that sin the penalty was he had to give an eternal life for the life he had destroyed and the “life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.” Leviticus 17:11. And Adam’s blood, and that of all his descendants, had become perishable. He needed eternal blood to redeem him and there was none in him or anyone born of his seed, which you all are born of according to the flesh. And that is why I sent Jesus into the world to take on human flesh and be one like you in all things but sin. And that is why the virgin birth. The blood is from the father’s seed, not from the mother. So Jesus, as the second Adam, was born of the incorruptible seed of My Word and His blood, as that of the first Adam, was from Me, pure, eternal blood of an indestructible life in the flesh. If Jesus had not voluntarily taken all your sins upon His own body by substitution, though he never actually committed a sin, He would never have been able to die. But once He did, He could be put to death for the wages of sin is death, though He remained of pure blood as He had never sinned. I revealed this in the burnt offering in the teachings I gave to Moses for the sacrificial offerings to cover the sins of the people, shielding them from the destroyer. The sinner would lay his hand on the head of the unblemished lamb and his sin would transfer to the lamb and the lamb’s purity to him, and then he would slay the lamb upon the altar and pour its blood upon the altar. Moses, besides pouring the blood on the altar, also sprinkled the blood on the people, giving you a glimpse of the good things to come in Jesus, Exodus 24:5-8, Hebrews 9:18-22, for what I gave Moses for the priests to perform was the shadow but Jesus is the substance. Colossians 2:17. And when you have the substance the shadow is no longer needed. Jesus is now the only offering for sin. Hebrews 10:18. He is enough, no more is needed, and indeed there is no one and nothing else that is suitable to do it, for all have sinned and fallen short of My glory except Him. And the devil tried to deceive My Son in the flesh but he could not. My Word prevailed. And you will note that you overcome the devil because of the Blood and because of My Word, both spoken by your mouth. Revelation 12:11.

Jesus took your sentence of condemnation and gave Me His eternal life in the flesh as payment for the eternal life you lost and restored that to you by His blood. It made propitiation for your sin on the altar of the cross. I had shown this in the type of the Passover lamb, and the sacrificial offerings of the book of Leviticus. And it was the blood the covered the sins and saved the people who offered them, but that was like a credit card payment that held the destroyer away until the debt was paid in full by the Blood of My Son. “For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins? But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year by year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, “Sacrifice and offering You have not desired, but a body You have prepared for Me; in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God.’” And “after saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the Law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second. By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:1-10. And there is more, “And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, ‘This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,’ says the Lord: ‘I will put My laws upon their heart, and on their mind I will write them,” He then says, ‘And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.’ Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin.” Hebrews 10:16-18.

So how do you overcome and enforce the victory won by Christ for you by using the Blood of Jesus? You do spiritually what Moses did physically. Jesus has released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom of priests unto Me. Revelation 1:5-6. And what did priests do under the Old Covenant? They had many ministry duties but of first importance was that they offered the sacrifices to keep My judgment and wrath from coming upon the people for their sins. They covered for the people and the nation with the blood poured out of the spotless lamb every morning and evening as the burnt offering and they also offered the scapegoat for the nation. My apostle Peter understood the Levitical priesthood and he understood that Jesus was the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He knew that Jesus died ONCE for all, but that His blood is eternal and works an eternal redemption. He wrote: “knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” 1 Peter 1:18-21. And what did he call believers who had been redeemed by the blood? “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9. And in that same letter he tells you how to carry out your royal priesthood: “you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:5. “To offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” Do you see? It is the same sacrifices offered by the Levitical priests as set out in the book of Leviticus, especially the first five chapters thereof, and the Levitical priesthood also became the ones who sacrificed the Passover lambs, but what they had to do physically over and over, you need only offer spiritually since His one sacrifice took care of all sin and His blood is eternally on the propitiatory in Heaven. So you do it as intercessory prayer in union with your great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for you. You make the offering by the fruit of your lips (Hosea 14:2: “Take words with you and return to the LORD and say to Him, ‘Take away all iniquity and receive us graciously, that we may present the fruit (the actual word here means “young bulls” showing the sacrifice for sin of the blood of a bull) of our lips.’”) by pleading the blood on yourself, others, your nation, and all nations as I direct you in prayer. I have given you the nations as an inheritance.

I had Moses instruct the people to put the blood over the entrance to their homes on the night of the first Passover. Why? “For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite.” Exodus 12:23. The same is true today, where you put the Blood of Jesus by your words, the destroyer cannot smite.

Also, do you remember what Moses did when the nation was all royal priesthood before they broke My commandments and it was given only to the Levites who defended My honor and Name? “Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. Then he arose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel. He sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD. Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. Then he took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has cut with you on all these words.” Exodus 24:4-8.

Do you see? The Blood sprinkled on the people and the Word read aloud in the hearing of the people so they too could live. The ministry of the royal priesthood is till the same but done all by words. For the sacrifice has been made, the blood poured out, taken to My altar by Jesus in Heaven as He entered the true Holy of Holies with His eternal blood, and that Blood still pleads for you more eloquently than the blood of Abel. Intercede and plead with the Blood. “And come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24.

“But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and bulls, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:11-14.

And you not only plead the Blood, you yourself enter by the Blood into the Holy of Holies: “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a [h]sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:19-23. “In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us.” Ephesians 1:7-8. You are reconciled and have peace with Me because of the Blood of the Cross.

I love you. It always comes back to the Spirit, the water, and the Blood. The anointing, the Word, and the Blood. And that is the victory that overcomes the world, the flesh, and the devil. With these, and the Name of Jesus, you are MORE than a conqueror.
