Therefore many other attesting miracles Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His Name. John 20:30-31.
But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” Acts 3:6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I have given you the most awesome gift, a gift that is above every other gift because all of Heaven comes with it. Do you know what that is? The Name of Jesus. “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My Name, He will give it to you.” John 16:23. All authority upon the earth has been given to Him, and He has shared it with and entrusted it to you who believe in His Name.
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which you must be saved. Acts 4:12. “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21.
There is only One Name that opens Heaven to you upon the earth and that is the Name of JESUS. Yeshuah. The Name that means “Salvation.” In and through that Name comes healing, divine health, prosperity, peace, forgiveness, redemption, righteousness, sanctification, revelation, anointing, provision, answers, and days of Heaven upon the earth. It is the Name to which every knee must bow—in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
When you know how to use that Name with faith, authority, and power, you will cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, and move nations. Your life will become like Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple after I had raised and glorified Jesus as Lord, Peter used his faith in the Name on a man crippled from birth who was not yet a follower of Jesus and had not even asked them for healing, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” Acts 3:6. And immediately the faith in the Name strengthened his bones, his joints, his legs, and every part of him so that he jumped to his feet and he walked, leaped, and skipped about totally healed. Heaven had touched the earth.
And that is today’s Life Lesson about the Kingdom of Heaven, “The Name that takes you to Heaven and brings Heaven to the earth.” Confessing the Name of Jesus as your Lord not only will bring you to Heaven when you pass from this mortal life to be present with Me for eternity but makes you participate in all the benefits of Heaven now while still on earth.
Jesus is the divine connection between Heaven and earth. Jesus told Nathanael when he confessed Him as the Son of God, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” John 1:51.
Under the Old Covenant, which Jesus fulfilled when He entered the New and everlasting Covenant with Me that brings all believers together in one Covenant family in Me, people could not enter the Holy of Holies to approach My presence, only the High Priest as their representative. But now Jesus has given you free access into the true Holy of Holies in Heaven and promised you that I hear you just as if it were Him speaking to Me when you come in His Name. He has given you a new status before Me, no longer servants praying at a distance but sons coming with full authority to use His Name—joint heirs with Him, and He has died according to the flesh though living forever in His glorified body, so you are heirs now through Christ since a death has taken place once for all.
“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11.
You can demand in the Name of Jesus that anything contrary to My Will on earth cease and desist and leave. This can be done for yourself or for others. This is not the laying on of hands, but merely using the Name with authority for things in your body or life, for others or things in the earth’s atmosphere such as storms. To be able to do this effectively you must have faith and revelation concerning what is in the Name of Jesus. Peter had this when he used the Name to raise up the crippled man to walk. Paul understood this when he told the demon to leave the fortune telling girl and it departed. “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.” Acts 16:18. The sons of the Jewish High Priest who saw Paul doing this tried doing it like some kind of magic formula and failed miserably. It is not a formula or a charm but a living and active relationship with Me and My Son whereby you know that NOTHING can withstand that Name. Most people have not come to that level.
Peter explained to the astonished crowd at the miracle healing of the man crippled from birth that it was not any power or piety of their own that had made the man walk but the Name of Jesus, “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16.
You who believe in His Name have the authority to use that Name, but to use it and get results you must know that it is all conquering and stand on that without backing down because you feel another pain or the storm does not let up immediately. You just say, “Oh no you don’t, in the Name of Jesus cease, desist, and go! You must bow your knee to that Name.” And that is true, whether in the heavens, on earth, or under the earth. That includes the devil and all his demons. Nothing and no one can withstand that Name that is acting contrary to it.
Do not put up with what Jesus died to free you from. By His death on the Cross you are redeemed from the curse, which includes sickness and pain, poverty and lack, and eternal death. By His scourging you are healed of diseases and pains. He took them. By the shedding of His blood you are cleansed of all sin and made holy and blameless before Me. By His death, you died to sin and by His resurrection you are raised to eternal life. You have life in His Name. Abundant life, newness of life, a life of shalom and not evil, a future and a hope. Do not allow anything less.
To use the Name you must have revelation of what is in the Name. But when you are using it for another, like Peter did for the crippled man at the Beautiful Gate, the person receiving just has to agree and they can receive on the authority of His Name. Others can get blessed by your knowledge if they will agree. The crippled man looked at Peter expecting something and when the power flowed and Peter pulled him up, he did not refuse saying he could not stand up. No, He grabbed ahold of it and leaped up. And then he stayed with Peter and John and went into the temple filled with gratitude. It matters where you go after you have been healed.
The Name will bring you perfect soundness and make you complete.
Demons and hell are under the earth and at the Name they have to bow. Sickness, disease, symptoms and pain HAVE to bow at the Name of Jesus. This is why the devil tries to block using the Name.
When you say that Name in faith then all that is in that Name goes into operation. Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:14.
When you tell a pain to stop in the Name of Jesus it must stop. Knowing the Name makes you bold. You do not cower and whine when symptoms and pain, storms and turmoil come, you order it. But you must spend time with Me to understand this and grow your faith by hearing these things to the level where using the Name is real to you and not just something you tack on to your prayers. It is the same with My promises, you must have confidence they are YOURS and then nothing will move you off that. You laugh at the contrary .
If a family member is not saved. Do not just keep begging Me to save them. I sent Jesus and did save them, He paid the ransom for ALL, 1 Timothy 2:6, but they have to have their eyes opened to this and receive it. Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers to so that if they persist in walking with him, they will not see the light of the gospel of Christ.
“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4. “
Take the Name of Jesus and command Satan to take his hand of blindness off the person’s mind that is keeping them from seeing the light of Christ. Take authority for you know My Will on this, that it is My desire that all people be saved and come to know the truth. I do not want any to perish. And after commanding Satan to take his hand of blindness off their minds, then pray as Jesus told you to do, that is, pray to Me to send laborers across their path who will speak to them of Jesus in a way that is attractive to them now that they can see the light with the hindrance of Satan broken of them.
You have to bind the strongman before you can plunder his house. You bind and break his power by the Name of Jesus. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. And My Spirit tells you what to say and He testifies to Jesus and you must as well. John 15:26-27.
And you can break Satan off you if he has come with the unclean spirits of infirmity, poverty, pain, or any sickness. I have redeemed you from all of these, which are of the curse, in Jesus. Take the Name and go after them when they rear their heads in your life. Do not cower and wonder how I am letting this come or continue in your life and go after Me, like Job did, do as I tell you and rebuke Satan and cast out demons using the Name of Jesus, which I have entrusted to you. And then receive your healing and release it in the Name of Jesus
And you can speak to your body, whatever part is ailing you, and demand it in the Name of Jesus to function properly and be free of hindrance and pain. That is what Peter did at the beautiful gate of the temple with the cripple. He simply commanded off the infirmity by commanding the man to walk in the Name of Jesus. And the disability had to go and give way to the resurrection power in the Name of Jesus that raised up the man whole. “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the Name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this PERFECT health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16. If you have been crippled all your life, you are not in perfect shape, but the name of Jesus had given him perfect health—it had driven every unclean spirit of infirmity out of his body. And he was well over forty years of age. Acts 4:22. He got his youth renewed as well to restore the years the devil had stolen.
And did the religious leaders of the day glorify Me at this wonderful gift that was for them all to use to obtain days of Heaven on earth? No. They commanded Peter and John never to teach or preach the Name of Jesus again. Acts 4:18. The devil hates that Name, for it is the Name he must bow to and he hates to bow. It is the Name of the One who won back the throne of the Son of Man that the devil had usurped from Adam by deceit and knocked the devil out of Heaven so he found no place there. The seed of the woman who had crushed his head and disarmed him. He hates that wonderful Name and does everything he can do in his wiles and schemes to keep people from knowing and using that Name for if they use it with faith, he knows his time of oppressing them is over.
For you to use the Name of Jesus as you ought, you must be fully persuaded that My promises are yours in Him. 2 Corinthians 1:20. Once you treat My Word as a prophetic Word FOR YOU that I have sent to you, then you can step up without fear and take down anything that tries to steal My promises from you. Faith comes by hearing so keep hearing what you have in Christ and who He is to you and when you are full you will release the fullness. And that is when the tide changes in your life. The devil won’t have you on the run, you will have him on the run.
You must also pray to Me in the Name of Jesus, not just to Satan. Whatever you ask in His Name, I give to you. John 16:23. Jesus is showing you that a new order has come. You come to Me in His Name and I respond to you as I did to Jesus when He was on earth according to the flesh. You can receive just as Jesus received from Me. At the tomb of Lazarus He prayed by thanking Me for hearing Him and knowing that I always heard Him. It made Him bold enough to raise the dead.
And Jesus told you that where two or three gather in His Name, then He is there in your midst. And what you ask in His Name, He tells you that He will do it. John 14:13. His faith will work in you. And His is perfect faith. “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven, for where two or three have gathered together in My Name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20. So if your faith is not quite where it should be to use the Name, then get together in the Name of Jesus and have someone with the same precious faith as yours come into agreement with you.
And Jesus Himself will help you with using His Name, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:12-15. He will help you to ask Me in His Name by doing Himself what you ask, as He did for Peter at the beautiful gate, “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith WHICH COMES THROUGH HIM has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16.
Do not be praying something like, “Please heal me Lord if it is your Will.” Or say to others that God will heal them if it is His Will. Or that you will have a good life if it is My Will. Make it your business to read My Word and find out what My Will is. “So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:17. Why would I tell you that I am the LORD your healer, that I forgive all your sins and heal all your diseases, that I sent My Word to heal you, and that sickness is a curse and then it not be My Will to heal you? Why would Jesus take those bloody scourges to heal you if it was not My Will to heal you? In seeing Jesus you see Me and He healed all who came to Him for healing. The power to heal is present but you can only connect to it by faith and to do that you must know My Will. The same for provision, prosperity, peace of mind, and so much more. I make My Will clear to you in My Word and I have given you a whole book of them. The Bible. Read it, speak it, meditate on it, study it, listen to it, and hear anointed teachings on it for I have given you apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip you and bring you to unity of the faith and the full stature of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13.
