For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

If you love Me you will keep My Word. And if you do that, you will never sin. How is that? My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet whereas sin walks in darkness. If you stay in constant communication with Me by abiding in My Word you will live in the light and light overcomes darkness.

You were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. Ephesians 5:8-13.

You can live free from sin and all it encompasses. And that is when life becomes sweet for when you live without sin you are in constant undisturbed fellowship with Me. Your conscience is clear. I am always ready to receive you and talk with you but those who are trapped in sin tend to avoid Me. They do not want to come into the light, and I am light.

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-9.

If you stay in My light, that is, abide in My Word by keeping it, then the blood of Jesus is continually cleansing you and covering you so that no sin can touch you.

This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:19-21.

I give you the opportunity to practice righteousness. I have made you righteous in Christ, it is time you learned how to practice it. Whey you pass your exams and become a lawyer, you then practice law as a lawyer. Why you take Jesus as Lord and believe I raised Him from the dead having freed you from your sins, you are made righteous in My sight. You are now righteous, so now you, like a person who has become a lawyer, must practice righteousness. You are no longer a sinner, Jesus took all your sins, He became sin for you, so you could be made righteous with My own righteousness. You are no longer a sinner but a born again new creation in Christ, so you should not longer practice sin. You are not qualified to do so. It will make you miserable.

Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:4-10.

The seed that I sow is the Word, and you are born again by receiving My Word and My Word implants in your spirit and through the birth canal of My Word you become a new creation in Christ. You are now a person of My Word and you cannot sin because My Word keeps you on right paths.

But above all it comes down to one issue, and it is a love issue. Do you love Me? If you do, you will keep My Word in faithfulness and loyalty to the One you love.

He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him. Jon 14:21.

It is all a matter of relationship—that is, of fellowship. Sin is betrayal of that relationship. It shows no honor to the one disobeyed. Adam broke our relationship and never tried to restore it.

“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:23-24.

And it is that simple. Remember, where your treasure is there your heart is also. And you will do what is in your heart.

So how do you keep from sin? By storing up and treasuring My Word in your heart.

Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:11.

Let Me keep you from sin. The closer you draw to Me, the closer I can draw you to you and the more you stay close to Me the more like Me you become. And I cannot sin. It is not in My nature. And once you are born again it is no longer in yours either. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. 1 John 3:7-9.

Sin is actually a love issue. If you love Me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and you love your neighbor as yourself, you will not sin or even be attracted to it. Love never harms the neighbor. Sin harms the neighbor and you. Sin tears apart and destroys, love builds up and edifies.

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:8-10.

Keeping out of the captivity of sin is a full time occupation for many today but when you get to the point where you know Me so well that we are in constant communication of mutual love and honor, sin is no longer an issue. You are looking at Me and I am looking at you and I keep you. There is no snatching out of My hand.

We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:18-20.

Now let Me tell you what sin is and when it happens. Sin is simply getting your attention off Me and forgetting about My presence. Adam would not have blatantly done what he did if he had been aware of My presence. He was doing it, and so was Eve, on the “sly” so to speak. In fact, they then hid from Me thinking I would not know what they had done.

Joseph’s brothers would not have planned to kill him or thrown him in the pit if they had been aware that I was present in their midst. And no matter how hard they tried to hide what they had done, I still knew very well what they had done.

Potiphar’s wife thought no one would see when she tried to tempt Joseph into committing adultery with her, but Joseph was different. He was aware of Me with him at all times and he never wanted to lose that or jeopardize it. He knew that it was I who taught him to profit and favored him and he valued My presence with him. He told Potiphar’s wife that he could not do such an evil before Me and would not dishonor her husband in that way either since he trusted him.

Joseph would rather face the wrath of Potiphar’s wife then sin against Me. He was always aware of Me with him. And so I was. And I blessed him more than he could ever ask or imagine. I never said about him, as My Son did about Judas, that it would have been better if he had never been born. No, Joseph was the prince among his brothers. Why was he so different than his brothers? Because he loved, honored, and was very aware of Me at every moment. Look at what he said even to his brothers, it was all about how Me and how I turn things around for good no matter what evil they had planned. I was always on Joseph’s mind, but in a most normal and loving way. And he carried that right into being the most powerful and sought after man in Egypt. He never took his eyes off Me and so he was never encumbered by sin.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.

I love you. Stay focused and you will avoid a lot of trials and storms. Just keep your eyes on Jesus and you will become what you behold. Perfect.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18.
