“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The sanctified life is one of peace, pure, unshakable peace.
Today, I want to talk about peace. Right now there are very few people who really understand and have peace. Peace is something you must seek and pursue to have it in your life. It is not automatic. It is a choice.
My Son has given you the gift of peace. So you have peace. You just have to realize you have it and use it. My Son tells you how. He gives you peace but then He tells you that you have a part in it also. Your part is not to let your heart be anxious or afraid. In other words, cast all your cares upon Me and refuse to dwell on your problem in anxiety but instead begin thanking Me for the solution! Get to know Me and My promises and it will be easy.
One of My Covenant Names that you will find in the Bible is Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”). Judges 6:23-24. I also reveal through My prophet Isaiah that My Son is Prince of Peace. He is your peace. He made peace through the Blood of the Cross.
So what is peace?
Peace is a fruit of the spirit. Peace is confident, joyful, assurance that all things are working together for your good and that you are in right standing with Me. Peace comes from abiding in Me.
What is it that causes you not to have peace?
Three things. First, regret about the past. Second, fear about the future. Third, present sin in your life. Let us look at all three.
Many are living in deep anguish and mental torture over mistakes and sins they have done in their past or that someone else did to them. My mercy can cover this and set you free. When you repent and confess your sins to Me, I cleanse you from all unrighteousness by the Blood of My Son and you become holy and blameless before Me, just as if you had never sinned. Your sins and failings I remember no more.
Also cast your resentments and bitterness into My justice and let Me take care of your hurt. Just follow My directions by praying for those who hurt you and entrusting your vindication to Me. Take the bitter thoughts captive and speak words to the opposite out loud. Such as “I forgive them by an act of my will and I will no longer waste my time thinking on fruitless deeds of darkness. I will walk in the light. God loves Me and finds me precious. He has forgiven me and will lead me to freedom. His shield is around me and He will protect me.” Know that I never send bad or harmful things into your life. They are not of My making. But if you rise up and speak against them in My Name and allow Me to work through you, I can turn these things back on those who meant to harm you.
Many fear the future. In fact I tell you that in the end times many will die of fright at the things that come upon the earth. But if you truly know Me and have taken Jesus as your Lord, you have nothing to fear. You have authorized Me to protect and bless you and I will! No harm will take you down. You will be surrounded by the shield of My good will. And I catch you up in the clouds with Me before the terrible tribulation period.
I am your provider and your source, the Almighty God. And I will never leave you or forsake you. You are not dependent on any source but Me and I have unlimited riches. Do not live in fear little flock it has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom! Seek first My Kingdom and all the rest will be supplied to you. Give and it will be given on to you. Remember that My Son came that you might have life and have it more abundantly!
So cover the past with My mercy, which is inexhaustible, and clothe the future in My love, which is without limits. Take charge of your life by speaking words of faith, not of fear, and taking all your thoughts captive for Christ. Use My Son’s Name which I have given to you, to cast out demons and disease. Do not just hide and tremble. Submit to My Word, resist the devil and he will take flight. Then you will have peace.
Now let us get to the third area that ruins peace. It is present sin in your life. Sin leads to death. It steals, kills and destroys. My prophet Isaiah stated it very well under My revelation:
But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20-21.
Personal sin on your part will disrupt your life and you will have no peace. With sin in your life you build a wall of separation between us. I cannot get through it to communicate with you, for you are hiding behind it in the dark and you become deaf to My voice.
What is the solution to sin in your life? Grace. Where sin abounds grace even more abounds. Grace and truth come to you through My Son.
Grace is My life poured out into you, enabling you to do the impossible. My grace is sufficient for you to overcome any sin, evil and/or addiction in your life. My life poured into you makes you powerful. It gives you the fruit of self-control. You obtain this grace only in Jesus. That is, by repenting of your sin and taking Him as your Lord. Then I am faithful and true to forgive all your sins and to cleanse you of all wrong doing.
But you are your part must seek Me and be willing to leave the sin which weighs you down. Otherwise I cannot help you because you have not authorized me to do so. You cannot serve the devil by living in immorality and lust and at the same time cast him out in Jesus Name. Come to Me and I will give you My strength, My life, My grace to overcome all in Jesus’ Name.
I explain how to do this through My prophet Isaiah. I tell the wicked man to forsake his thoughts, to turn to Me for mercy, to come to the living water. Isaiah 55: 1, 6, 7. I explain to the wicked man that his thoughts are not My thoughts or his ways, My ways. To get the personal sin and strife out of his life, he must forsake wicked thoughts and instead put his mind on thoughts of peace and love, thoughts that match Mine. You can do this if you want to. How? By consciously rejecting wicked, jealous, resentful, bitter, fearful, depressed, hateful, or murderous thoughts and instead thinking on what you have learned, received, or heard from Me in My Word, things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable– finding the excellent or praiseworthy if possible in every person and situation. Yes, read My Word and listen to My Voice and whatever you have learned or received or heard from Me, or seen in Me—put it into practice. And I, the God of peace, will be with you. Philippians 4:9.
I give you peace, love, life, joy and everything good but you still have a part to perform to make these wonderful things your own. But follow what I tell you and it works! You will be happy and you will have peace.
Finally, My Word tells you just what to do to have peace all the time. You can find it written out by My servant and friend Paul in the book of Ephesians. I will tell you again here.
Rejoice in Me always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. I am near. I am with you. Read My promises and get excited! Rejoicing in the Lord is your strength. Great peace have those who keep their minds on Me. Great peace have those who love My law.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to Me. I hear and I have the solutions for you. Cast all your cares on Me because I care for you! And My peace, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-9.
I love you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid. You will have trials in the world, but cheer up! I have overcome the world and its power to hurt you. Take My authority and stand strong in Me and the power of My might. You are covered by My Glory. Be at peace, I am with you.
