God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. Hebrews 1:1-3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When Jesus walked among you in the flesh as one of you, He had many conversations with people either in groups or as individuals and every conversation He had always had purpose, plan and power. And that purpose, plan, and power all had to do with love, My love for you.
“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10.
No one who came to Him did He ever reject or cast away. Conversation with Him always made lives better, higher, stronger, and blessed. Even with those who opposed or rejected Him, He did not answer in retaliation but in the truth of divine revelation that went straight to the heart. To everyone who encountered Him, He gave the opportunity to be transformed into the wonderful person I made them to be. He offered everyone the Kingdom.
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40.
In this and the following Life Lessons we will consider the truths revealed and the comfort contained in these conversations because My Spirit has revealed them for your edification, comfort, exhortation, and encouragement. In these conversations with My Son you will learn to recognize My voice and have insight and revelation into the greatness of all I have given you in Him. In this way we will reach a oneness that is beyond anything you can ask or think, for you will reign with Me in life through Christ Jesus FOREVER.
In the conversations Jesus had with numerous people before and after His death, resurrection, and ascension, in which I invite you to join in your own heart, you will learn who I am, who you are, what is in store, and so much more.
Let us begin with a foundational revelation from a conversation I share with you that Jesus had with His friend Martha at her home where she welcomed Him often, for Jesus was friends with Martha and her sister Mary and her brother Lazarus. In that conversation, which is in reference to the conversation Jesus was having with her sister Mary, which included other disciples as well who had gathered with Jesus in the home. Martha became irritated with her sister, Mary, for staying in the conversation with Jesus and the disciples instead of helping her with the task of preparing a meal for everyone who had gathered in the home. And Jesus made a very important and pivotal point in the conversation He had with Martha that she never again forgot or neglected, and neither should you for it is there for your instruction, edification, exhortation, and encouragement.
“Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; but one thing is necessary; for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42.
Here you see an important truth that I have revealed to you that you would do well to take to heart. Your eternal life is dependent on your living in, through, and with Jesus. My gift of Jesus, which is the manifestation of My love for you, was not just to swoop down and save you from your sins, but to stay with you always so you could live your life through Him.
By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. 1 John 4:9.
“I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. After a little while, the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; because I live, you also will live. On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you. The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him. The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:19-24.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Mathew 28:18-20.
The mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
Because He lives, i.e., took all your sins, died the death of the sinner, taking your condemnation for sin, and was raised by Me as the sacrifice accepted as the firstborn again man, living forever, you live and are no longer in your sins. There is no condemnation now for those who are in Christ Jesus. When He died to sin once for all, you died to sin, and when I raised Him to new life free of sin, you were justified with His justification and glorified with His glorification. His life is your life, your eternal life is all wrapped up in Him. I was in Christ reconciling you to Myself, not counting your sins against you but accounting them to Him, so that you can be in constant fellowship with Me forever through your relationship with Him.
When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, to the extent that He has inherited a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:1-4.
Jesus is the way to Me, no one can come any other way because they are still in their sins and sin has no place in love. But once you have received His eternal sacrifice, you have eternal redemption.
Yes, one thing is necessary above all other things, but once you have that one thing you have everything. And it is conversation with Jesus to show you the way to Me. He is always showing you the way to Me and it is always the way of love. My love for you and also your love for Me and all whom I have made.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. 1 John 4:10-14.
Jesus in conversation with a scribe who had been listening to the conversation Jesus was having with the Sadducees who were questioning Him about eternal life, was asked by the scribe which was the first and foremost of all the commandments and Jesus answered him with the commandment he should have known was the greatest from My conversations with Moses, but Jesus added on the second as well. Jesus always gives you a complete answer, though there is much you will not be able to at first take in until your heart enlarges as you are transformed by the renewal of your mind in My Word. And that is why conversation with Jesus, who is My Word made flesh to relate with you in a way you can understand, is so necessary for you to have the abundant life that I have for you in Him.
Jesus answered, “The first and foremost is, ‘HEAR, ISRAEL! THE LORD IS OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE; AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ The second is this: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31.
The scribe, however, being sincere and not trying to test, challenge, or trick Jesus as the Sadducees were doing in their “conversation,” wanted to continue this revelation.
And the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher; You have truly stated that HE IS ONE, AND THERE IS NO OTHER BESIDES HIM; and to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Mark 12:32-33.
And Jesus, as always, is quick to confirm you when your heart is right. For He recognized and encouraged a heart that was growing in love for Him, in love for the truth. I have no greater joy than seeing you walking in the truth. Because it is then you will reign in life through Christ Jesus.
When Jesus saw that he had answered intelligently, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And then, no one dared any longer to question Him. Mark 12:34.
One sincere believer in conversation with Jesus can silence the scornful by catching them in their deceitful hypocrisy.
In conversation with Jesus, the way was always opened to Me. He is the door to My throne of grace.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let’s hold firmly to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need. Hebrews 4:14-16.
Jesus confirmed that as well. He told you to address your prayers directly to Me as “Father” but He is there with you, hence “Our Father.”
Truly, truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. These things I have spoken to you in figures of speech; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father. On that day you will ask in My name, and I am not saying to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.” John 16:23-28.
He had a conversation with Mary Magdalene when I raised Him from the dead and confirmed the same.
Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene came and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and that He had said these things to her. John 20:16-18.
My Son is one God with Me, from everlasting to everlasting He is Son of God but once My Son took on humanity and became Son of Man and Son of God, He never will let go of the humanity again. There is a born again man in all His glory in the center of the Godhead thus including you in Me forever. The first man and woman were in My image and according to My likeness but now there is more, much more, in Jesus we are joined together in Covenant forever. You are His body, His bride, His church, His sheep, and His brothers and sisters.
I love you. Keep on with Me. There is so much more to show you in the conversations of Jesus, both with people and with Me. Let His conversations be what they were then but with the knowledge you have now on the other side of the Cross and the Resurrection, for things hidden in Him have now been revealed. In Him I have hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge for you who know Him to find.
