Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
If you seek Me, you will find Me. I will let Myself be found by you when you seek Me with your heart. How do you seek Me? How do you know where to find Me? How do you know you are welcome? How do you know I am delighted to see you?
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16.
Many are seeking what they call a “higher power” that somehow will protect and prosper them and guide their lives. People invent gods of their own, make and develop rituals to appease and please them. People look at the stars, the planets, even the universe, or creatures I have made and make those into gods. People will call their god the “force” or the “Great Spirit” or “Baal” or “Zeus,” and I could go on, but they always try to give their god a name and a personality.
For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Romans 1:25.
To serve a creature, which dies, or to form an idol with your own hands from materials in the earth, or an object such as a tree or a star or planet, of which there are a vast number beyond what the human mind as corrupted by the sin and seed of Adam can count, and worship it is really quite foolish for within each person’s heart I have put eternity and a knowledge of Me, for no matter how much you have covered it by sin, My image is still in you and My call home is in your heart. You still can recognize My voice when I speak. And I am speaking.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, has spoken, and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Psalm 50:1.
The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:1.
When I spoke to Adam, to Cain, to Noah, to Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob, to Joseph, to Moses, to Aaron, to Miriam, to Joshua, and I could go on and on. I spoke to everyone who would listen and respond, even to Gideon who was worshipping idols. I spoke to Cyrus who did not even know Me and he responded and did as I requested.
I speak to every person and call them as I did for each of the ones I mentioned and all whom I have conceived in My heart and made, which is everyone. And even though you have continually rejected Me and sought other gods, I took care of all that in My Son when He paid your judgment and took your sentence.
My desire is for all to know Me from those you consider the least to the very greatest. And the good news is that you can know Me, walk with Me, and receive wisdom, direction, protection, correction, comfort, help, and provision from Me, but above all you can receive what you were created for. And what is that? You were created by love, with love, for love, and in love. And love is pure joy and joy is your strength. So imitate Me as My very dear and precious children and walk in love and you will know a life of joy, strength and the abundance of good. That is how it all began in the Garden of Eden, that place of the delights of My house, where the first man and woman walked and conversed with Me every day in the breezy time of the day.
They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the breeze (ruach (רוּחַ): the Spirit, wind, breath) of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8.
Awake, O north, and come south; and blow upon my garden, make my garden breathe out fragrance, let its spices be wafted abroad. Song of Songs 4:16.
I seek you and draw you with human cords with bands of love, I draw you aside and speak to your heart that you in turn may seek My face. It is My face you must seek in order to converse with Me or indeed with any person.
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” Psalm 27:7-8.
Even a dog trotting at its master’s side will keep it eyes on the face of its master seeking direction, comfort, and approval. A tiny baby knows to look for the face of its mother. They are looking to catch your eyes. They are always looking for the eyes. Have you ever noticed that when you are in an elevator and a dog comes in with its owner or a baby in the arms of its mother, they will try to lock eyes with you?
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. Psalm 32:8.
My eyes go to and fro across the earth looking for those whose hearts are towards Me, who will link with Me. Who will look for My loving eyes. And on those My face will shine and when you follow that light, you are seeking Me.
O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to Your dwelling places. Psalm 43:3.
Truth will lead you. My Word is truth. If your heart is seeking the truth, I always lead you to My Word.
And the LORD appeared again at Shiloh, because the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD. 1 Samuel 3:21.
Whether you find a Bible in the drawer in a hotel room, or are handed a tract on the street, or come across a scripture on the internet, or a co-worker or fellow student or family member finds My Word and shares it with you, I will reveal Myself to you by My Word. Even in countries that ban My Word and try to keep their citizens in the dark, I get My light in on the internet, by satellite, by radio waves, by visions, dreams and angels, like when I sent My angel to Cornelius who was seeking truth in generous love.
And in Jesus I have gone even further, I sent My Word to earth as one like you so that you can seek and find Me in Him. For He is My exact image and likeness and in seeing Him you are seeing Me as one like you in all things but sin. But He took all your sins from you and gave you My righteousness so you could come before Me holy, blameless and without reproach and know without a doubt you are welcome, wanted, delighted in, and invited to come and sit at My right hand with and in Him even now. I have called you to fellowship with Me in My Son.
And when you reach out to Me in love, I reveal to you My Yeshuah, Jesus, Salvation.
So how do you seek Me? Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is the new and living way and He is knocking at your door waiting for you to open. There is no one on this earth to whom I have not given the opportunity to know Me. Even Herod who was killing My prophets and seeking to stop Me from saving My people, I sent him John the Baptist and I sent him My Son. But he would not seek Me or come. Sad. I had to let him go his own way. This grieves Me. I have such joy when My Son can bring back a lost sheep and now He does that through you, His body on earth.
Each person reading this now. I know you. I drew you here because I love you and am seeking you so that you in turn will seek Me. And that is the way a marriage should be, each seeking the other in honor and love. Each wanting to spend their life joined as one with the other. And that is My covenant with you in the spirit. And that is eternal. The flesh dies but the spirit does not. Join with Me forever. Seek Me early so I can bless your life with days of Heaven on earth, with SHALOM, which are My plans for you from everlasting to everlasting.
Do not wait until you are ready to cross over the light line as the criminal on the cross at the right hand of Jesus did. It was wonderful in My eyes that He sought Me then but he had not lived the wonderful days of Heaven on earth I had planned for him. He would have been one of the twelve disciples but that did not happen because he never answered My call, though I was seeking him, he was not seeking Me, but at last he listened as he hung next to My beloved Son, the Light that enlightens every man, woman, and child.
There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:9-14.
Just follow the light of the truth of My Word, the Light of the world, and you will find Me for you will have in you the Light of life. John 8:12. There is no need for you to stumble around in the dark. The true light has come.
I love you. Seek My Face, for My Face is shining on you, all you need to do is follow the light of My countenance.
How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance. Psalm 89:15.
