That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. Ephesians 1:17-19.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Washed in His blood, you abide in My love. Filled with His grace, you take your place with the saints in the Light, wherein is all your delight.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. Psalm 36:7-9.
Beautiful indeed is your inheritance. Psalm 16:6. In My presence is fullness of joy, the delights at My right hand forever. Psalm 16:11.
There is no darkness in Me, no shadow of turning, every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me the Father of lights, I light each one of your lamps with the light of My love so that people see that light and your goodness and all may resound in glory. I have nothing to hide in darkness for all is goodness and light, all is bright in Me and My Kingdom.
This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:19-21.
Dark things are not of Me. Do not play with them, put them under your feet. You must resist them and stay in the light. Darkness must flee when the light is turned on. But first you must submit to My Word as truth. How? Seek My Kingdom first, it is the Kingdom of Light. Do not seek the kingdom of darkness.
Where are you looking? What are you thinking? What are you saying? What are you doing? Examine yourself. Does it line up with the Kingdom of Light? Could you bring all your thoughts, words, and actions into the pure light or would you have to try to hide some in the darkness?
When he sinned, Adam hid. Sin has to be hidden. When Moses killed the Egyptian slave master, he hid him in the sand, but when it became known he fled into the darkness and it seemed he had lost his destiny. But My gifts and calling are irrevocable. You can repent and return to Me anytime and pick up the plan again. Just do not wait too long to get the burden lifted so you can return to the light. 1 John 1:9.
How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit! When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. You are my secret place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:1-7. 1 John 1:9.
I have given you My Name.
Your sins have been forgiven for His Name’s sake. 1 John 1:12.
He restores My soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake. Psalm 23:3.
You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people set apart called by Me out of darkness into My own marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9-10. As My child in Jesus, you have a royal inheritance and it is yours now. Remember the story of the prodigal son? The father gave his children the inheritance before he died. On demand. I am the living God, there is no death in Me or in My Kingdom. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. All are alive to Me in Him. You will transition but when He died to sin once for all so did you. You will never die the death again. The inheritance is already yours.
Do you know what I am talking about? My apostle Paul by inspiration of My Spirit in and upon him prayed that you would know and understand these things about 2,000 years ago. But most still do not understand so never operate at their maximum potential. It is sad but true. It is time for you to know what I will teach you today. Let us begin with the prayer My apostle Paul prayed for you.
For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:15-16.
For what reason? Look back to the line ahead:
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.
He is praying not for the world but for you who have believed the good news of salvation in Christ and are in Christ sealed by the Holy Spirit as a pledge of your inheritance, that is, the redemption of your bodies to glory.
Let us go on in his prayer for the redeemed, because remember My people perish for lack of knowledge (get taken captive by Satan) and without a vision they are unrestrained (no goals). So let us continue and see what it is he is praying for you to know.
These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:17-20.
In the knowledge of Me there are three things you absolutely need to know to have everything I planned for you in this life and forever.
- “That you will know what is the hope of His calling.”
What am I calling you to? To understand Scripture you go to the Scriptures that define it further for you. Look for the witnesses in My Word.
Just as you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you as a father would his own children, so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12.
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9.
Do you see what is the hope of My calling? I have called you to My eternal glory in My Kingdom through divine fellowship and partnership with My Son. You are in covenant with Him and He is in covenant with Me, and through, with and in Him you are joined in that everlasting covenant with Me, which knowing Me and My Son, which is eternal life.
- That you will know “what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”
What does that mean? His inheritance in you? Think and look back and you will understand what I am wanting you to know:
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST. Romans 8:14-16.
You have His inheritance as yours. For in Jesus I have qualified for that inheritance and have rescued you from the power of darkness and brought you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son. As He is so are you in this world. He is the firstborn and His inheritance is the double portion and so is yours for you have access to His inheritance as yours in you:
The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
Your inheritance is in you. Christ prepared a place, a mansion, for you and will come back to take you with Him that where He is you also may be. I gave Him everything and in Him I have given you everything as well. In Him you are made complete.
What is the inheritance of Jesus? Same as yours: ETERNAL GLORY.
I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:4-5.
Did you notice? Your calling and your inheritance are the same: Eternal glory in My Kingdom in fellowship with Me through My Son. It is all about fellowship and glory together, you give glory by manifesting My goodness, presence and power in the earth and I give you glory in My Kingdom for finishing your mission of glory! My glory lights the Kingdom of Heaven.
So your assignment fulfills your calling. Same as Jesus to glorify Me on earth by My goodness manifesting and lighting up your life so that I can glorify you forever in Heaven. You are to do the works Jesus did and greater, which gives Me glory, that is, people will recognize My goodness in and on you.
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.
Let the Christ in you shine. You are the light the dark world is looking for.
- That you will know “what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.”
What is that power that I direct into you by My Spirit in you and on you? Read on, it is nothing less than resurrection power. Jesus is the resurrection and the life and that again is the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory.
The surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:19-23.
What is that power? The strongest and greatest power of all: Love. For I am the Most High and I am love. I pour My love into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit and that is My power going into you to fill you with all My fullness. It is love that made you, love that sustains you, love that gave you My Son, love that redeemed you by the blood of My Son, love that forgave you, love that saves you, and love that raised you to glory. Love never fails and neither can you when you are full of My power of love.
And that was the accompanying prayer that Paul prayed that takes you the rest of the way in this journey:
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21.
I love you. I have called you by name, you are Mine. I will complete the good work I have begun in you for I am faithful. All I am asking is that you do not limit Me in what I want to do in you, with you, and for you in Christ Jesus your Lord. Remember what is the hope of My calling, what are the riches of the glory of your joint inheritance with Jesus in the saints in light, and what is the surpassing greatness of My power toward us who believe.
