I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Your part is to never be apart from Me. In Me you live, and move, and have your being. You are to live in, with, and through Me, with Me living in, with, and through you.
From of old I have spoken of you as My flock and Me as your Shepherd, of you as My children and Me as your Father, of you as My spouse and Me as your Husband, and of you as the branches and Me as the Vine. And in My Son you see the ultimate expression of all these. But what do you see in all these analogies? Neither you nor I have meaning and expression apart from the other. Together we are complete. Apart we have nothing. Each one divided from the other cannot fulfill the purpose or complete the plan.
When I created man and woman you were one with Me. You came forth from Me unique and yet connected in our work and walk together. We were one in purpose, plan, and power. What caused the division? The man and woman tried to separate themselves from Me, to act apart from Me. They sought to sever the connection and take over My part as well as their part. Sin is separating yourself from Me. And to keep away from Me they hid. What you must hide, you know will divide.
The LORD’s hand is not so short that it cannot save, nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear, but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2.
Stay attached, stay connected, stay with Me at every moment and every moment will be sacred, holy, fruitful and protected, filled with grace and truth. You are to live together with Me. That is the way I planned it to be. You can sum it up as family, but even closer, for I am in you and you are in Me for eternity. It is My idea and it is called “Covenant,” My everlasting Covenant of love.
How can it happen that we flow and grow together in our union and walk? I tell you in many places and in varied ways but it always comes down to the same Way, keep My Words and I make My abode with you and you are abiding in Me. Let Jesus explain because now I speak to you in My Son, who is the Word made one with you.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:23-24.
If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. John 15:7-8.
By remaining in My Word and My Words remaining in you, you abide in Me like a branch on the vine. I supply all you need to produce the fruit and you produce the fruit that has the character of the vine, which is making you a partaker of My divine nature. And the more you keep My Word the deeper I abide in you and you abide in Me until we are one in purpose, plan, and power.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?1 Corinthians 3:16.
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17.
The Holy Spirit within your spirit leads you, teaches you all things, guides you to all truth, tells you the things to come, and shares with you My thoughts and all that is Mine.
“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:25-26.
Think about that. Within you is the anointing that comes from Me that teaches you all things and reminds you of what I have said.
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:13-15.
By My Spirit in and on you there is no reason for you ever to be confused, in fear, or unable to discern what is the answer to any problem that arises.
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:11-13.
You do not have to do anything apart from Me and you should not. I have the Words of eternal life and they are for you.
So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?” Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.” John 6:67-68.
I am here for you and you are here for Me. The only reason you have life and breath and being is because I planned you to be the unique you that you are from everlasting, you are precious in My eyes, and I love you. I willed you into existence in Me. I am your source and supply and you are My masterpiece for whom I prepared a life of amazing, wonderful deeds in advance that you might walk them out with Me. It is a joint adventure, the venture of ventures.
“I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine.” Song of Solomon 6:3.
Abide in and keep yourself in My love for you, draw closer and closer as you know Me better and better until we are one in all we do. I know you and you know Me and that is eternal life now and forever. Eternal life is never being apart. It is the Covenant of love, abiding and enduring, with nothing stopping the flow, not physical death or any other hindrance that tries to separate what I have joined. Once you have made the decision that you choose Me, there is no snatching out of My hand for I have chosen you from before the world began.
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. John 15:16.
It is a matter of giving and receiving. You give yourself to Me and receive Kingdom results even now. Consider Peter, the disciple of Jesus. He had met Jesus through his brother Andrew who had been a disciple of John the Baptist until John pointed out Jesus to him. Peter was excited to know Jesus and when he saw Jesus at the side of the lake being followed by a great crowd, rather than say he was tired after a night of fishing and catching nothing, he let Jesus enter his boat to preach to the crowds on the shore for the entire morning. When Jesus dismissed the crowd He told Peter to take out the boat and fish. Peter was tired, skeptical, and thought it would prove a useless waste of time, but he obeyed. What he did not realize was his boat was now a Kingdom boat, in the world but not of the world, for he had given it, dedicated it, so to speak as an acceptable sacrifice of the moment for furthering the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom. He put forth his hand to work and in the Kingdom I prospered the work of his hand. Giving and receiving is the way of Kingdom living. And we do it together. Everything was done with Peter and Jesus working together to bring Kingdom results. And that was the difference in the catch of fish, working alone there was nothing. Working with Me and following the good Shepherd there as an overflow of fish. Too much for Peter and his partners, James and John, to contain.
You can do nothing fruitful without Me but together with Me we produce much fruit.
Moses, Joshua, and Gideon are good examples to consider. Each one of them denied being able to do their extraordinary assignment from Me on their own, but I told them the good news that I did not expect them to. I would be with them.
To Moses I said: “Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?” And He said, “Certainly I will be with you.” Exodus 3:10-12.
And Moses gave himself to the plan (giving), and the plan prospered in his hand (receiving).
To Joshua, I said, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.
To Gideon, I said, “Go in this your strength and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?” He said to Him, “O Lord, how shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the least in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father’s house.” But the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man.” Judges 6:14-16.
And I could go on and on, and I say the same to you! There is nothing you have to do alone. In fact, your part is to never be apart from Me. What can you do? Listen to this and now you will understand:
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2.
You are Mine and I am yours. When Jesus gave you the bread and wine transformed to His Body and Blood, He declared His body is given for you. Now you in turn give your body to Him that as His body on earth you may continue the great work He begun of preaching the good news of the Kingdom, the good news of Salvation, and going about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. He came to undo the works of the devil and as I sent Him so He sends you. Live on in My love and do the works of love in fruitful harmony on the vine.
I love you. The best part is that you and I never be apart. I am with you always and everything I have is yours. What is your response? Just remember what you have to hide, you know will divide. Never act separately when you have all the power in the universe at your disposal if you just act in perfect union with Me. Because then I can trust you and you can trust Me. Sin is separation from love and its wages is death.
