We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies under control of the evil one. 1 John 5:19.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I make a very definite dividing line between those who are of the world and those who are of the Kingdom. You should do so as well. The world is hostile to Me for it is under the flesh and not the Spirit.
Adam’s fall separated him from Me by replacing My Word with a lie. He acted separately. He was not in oneness when he ate the forbidden fruit. Anything done in separation, that is, contrary to the truth, is sin. Faith makes you one with the one you put your faith in.
It is My Word that sets you apart as pure and holy. It makes you one with Me in complete agreement. If you continue (abide, remain) in My Word you are truly My disciple and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. You are only free from all that is in the world when you are one with Me. And faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Why? Faith comes from oneness. When you are so united with another that you are as one, faith is not a problem. From oneness with the One who made and owns all, all is obtainable.
Those who are of the world are not free, they are trapped in addictions, anger, bitter roots, selfish ambition, divisions, and the like. Those who have been born again by My Word have a different set of values and expectations than the worldly minded. If you hear and do My Word you separate from the world and are free from the lies of the evil one under which the world operates. Please understand the depth of what Adam did. I call it treachery. Adam laid his dominion authority under a dominion hostile to Me and the world is still groaning under that dominion until Adam’s leasehold expires.
We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies (keimai (κεῖμαι): to lie, to be laid, to be set, to be appointed) in evil. And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is TRUE; and we are in Him who is TRUE, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the TRUE God and eternal life. Little children, guard yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:19-21.
Do you see that Jesus differentiates between those of the world and those who are one with God?
“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.” John 17:6-11.
Remember what Jesus said to the religious leaders who were stout against God’s Words?
Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me. John 8:43-45.
Again, it is the difference between the lie Adam laid the world under and the truth by which we were created (and are created anew).
You are rescued from the power of darkness and translated to the Kingdom of the Beloved Son, who is the Light of the world and the way, the truth, and the life, by receiving the implanted Word that has the power to save your soul.
You have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23.
These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. John 16:33.
If the world is so great why do need to overcome it?
Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. John 12:31.
I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30.
But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Holy Spirit) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. John 16:7-11.
Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 13:36-43.
Do you remember what Jesus told you the problem is? Not a lack of information about My Word but a lack of listening.
Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, “You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; for the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.” Matthew 13:13-15.
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6. People do not really know Me. They do not know who I AM. And this results in people not knowing who they are or why they are in existence. The sad thing is not only that people do not know Me, but that they do not think that they want to know Me.
But if people discover My Word and continue in it, then they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free. Jubilee. It will take the limits off their lives and take them into a whole new realm of existence.
But there is a lack of knowledge, a famine for My Word in the world.
People call this the “Information Age.” Really, with respect to many things, it is the Misinformation Age. If you do not know Me, you do not know life. And you do not know who you are or your purpose for being at all.
Today those involved in what is called “science,” which is simply the study of the wonderful things I have made and given existence to for your enjoyment (and you still have not really tapped into the amazing properties and qualities I have placed in the things I have made which you should harness and use), have come to the point where they are trying to define creation and existence without Me. This is foolish and leaves you just hanging in space with no hope– orphans that evolved from matter and combustion. No wonder so many people are depressed! Misinformation. Self-deception. People perish for lack of knowledge and vision as they pride themselves that they are “enlightened” by “science.” Would that they were truly enlightened so as to know just who they are and the true greatness and intricacy of creation!
It is time to seek and know Me. Seek Me while I can be found. Call to Me while I am still near. I want all to know Me from the least to the greatest. I am available.
Let Me tell you how to get to know Me. And when you really know Me and the authority I give you, it will solve all your problems and show you how to deal with them as they come, no matter how insurmountable they appear. There is nothing you cannot do with Me. There is nothing too hard for Me.
Always look to My Word for answers. They are there.
I tell you that no one knows Me except My Son and anyone to whom He chooses to reveal Me. In seeing Him you are seeing Me. Look at Him. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. I am good. I am gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness and truth. I care about you and I care for you, but I am only able to enter your life and give you My benefits to the degree you allow Me to.
You see from My Word then that it is My Son that reveals Me to you, and My Son tells you that He reveals Himself to those who keep His Word. Which is My Word as He only spoke My Words.
And what is His command? Love one another as He loves you. Love is the fulfillment of the law. And if you operate in love, then I know you. And you are of Me. And operating in love makes your life beautiful. It is your purpose, just as it is Mine.
Now, let Me talk about the particular steps that lead to knowing Me.
First, you must desire to know Me. You must seek Me. And when you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me with you. When you draw close to Me, I draw close to you. I reward those who seek Me.
You seek Me by reading My Word. You cannot know Me if you do not read what I have written to you by the inspiration of My Holy Spirit. My Spirit knows the deep thoughts that are within Me and communicates them to you. He will do this through My Word as written in the Bible.
Without reading My Word you do not know My Will for you. You do not know you have a Healer when you get ill and a Provider when you are lacking finances. You run looking to all the wrong places for help. You end up in fear, pain and lack. You need to know Me and what I am willing and able to do for you.
You seek Me by meditating upon My Word and speaking out the promises I make to you in My Word–promises for health, healing, provision, prosperity, and peace. Begin to see yourself as I see you by looking into the mirror of My Word—precious, beloved, My child, My treasure, the apple of My eye.
You seek Me by taking quiet time apart from others to share a fellowship time with Me each day. A time for prayer. It should be a meeting in our secret place, that is, in your heart, where I can reveal things to you and show you the plan I have for your life– your exciting assignment that fits you perfectly that I prepared in advance that you should live in it.
You seek Me by praising and worshipping Me with psalms, hymns and inspired songs. That will lift your mind out of the flesh to the spirit. Sing to Me and listen to My songs over you. Dance with Me. Shout with joy in My presence. Celebrate life with Me.
Be aware of My presence with you all day and night. You can train yourself in this until it becomes your reality. You do this by talking with Me. Most people talk at Me and call it prayer. That is not what I call prayer. Prayer is fellowship and revelation time.
Listen for Me in your spirit. You will hear Me and learn to recognize My voice. It is an inner voice that rises in the core of your being. My sheep hear My Voice. I know them and they follow Me.
Keep My Word. All the problems in the world, murder, violence, strife, theft, deception, injustice, poverty, sickness, and I could go on, all stem from not being filled with My Spirit and letting Me write My law in your hearts. Let Me work in you both the desire to do wonderful things and the ability to perform them. Philippians 2:13. Receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness and you will reign in life through Christ Jesus. And grace teaches you to live godly lives of good deeds prepared for you in advance that you might live in them.
The problem is people have cut themselves off from their source, which is Me. It is like a branch cut off from the vine—it withers and dies. It is a bleak and barren existence you have chosen when you do not know Me.
The solution, of course, was given to you long ago by My Son, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you. Take My yoke upon your shoulders and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. Your souls will find rest, for My yoke is easy and My burden light.” Matthew 11:28-30.
Return to your source. Seek you source. I am love and the source of all true love. I am life and the source of all true life. I am peace and the source of all true peace. I am light and the source of all true light.
So do not seek the thing as the world does and fails to ever have enough of it, seek the source and you will always have an abundant supply of the thing you desire. Seek Someone rather than something. If you are seeking love, as much of the world is, do not seek it in people and things, seek Me and you will have such love poured in your heart that you will not be able to contain it all. It will flow out to others also and you will find that many will come to receive the love pouring out from you and to give you the love you desire.
If you are seeking joy, then do not just seek to have a good time, that will not satisfy and stay with you always, seek the source of pure joy, the river of delight, which flows from My throne and is with Me. In My presence there is fullness of joy. Taste and see My goodness and find out for yourself.
And walk in the spirit and you will not yield to the lusts of the flesh. To know Me you must walk in the spirit, which means living by faith and not by sight. It means seeing everything in the truth of My Word and not just as the circumstance look. By faith in My Word and using My Word as a tool to shape your world, you will begin to know Me and who you are in Me. It is impossible to please Me without faith, and even to come to Me, you must believe that I exist and that I reward those who seek Me.
I have given you everything you need for life and godliness. I have made you partakers of My divine nature. But you cannot receive this or enjoy it if you never know you have it and do not take it. You must take it by your words. Speak with your mouth and believe in your heart.
Come learn from Me. My Son is the way. Keep your eyes on Him and your mind set where He is seated at My right hand and you will find yourself at My throne enjoying times of wonderful fellowship with Me.
I love you. Get to know Me. You will never know all there is to know. I am able to do immeasurably more than all you can ask or imagine, according to My power that is at work within you. Ephesians 3:20. Tap into My power. Start living a life without limits. And that is life on the vine. Remain in My Word and let My Word remain in you and you will abide in the Vine and produce much fruit that will endure onto life eternal.
