But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
When you come to Me—when you draw close to Me—and call upon Me in truth from your heart, I show you My Salvation, Yeshuah, that is, Jesus, your Redeemer, Savior, and Lord. Psalm 91:16. And when you believe in and receive Him, I create you anew and do a magnificent work in you, a work of love that is superabundantly beyond all that you can ask or think or even imagine. Not by human power or might but by My Spirit. This is a gift from Me to you who have decided to be Mine.
The edifice of your old life, built on the shifting sands of sin, is leveled to the ground, your roots that have grown deep down in the miry clay of sin are pulled out of that swamp of profligacy and planted deep into the rock of My Word that has no shifting or changing and cannot be shaken. Your new foundation is Christ, the chief cornerstone of the world and the entire edifice of creation and upon the revelation of that rock I build you and grow you up entirely new. A tree of life and a temple of My Holy Spirit.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:2-3.
I pour My love into your heart by the gift of My Holy Spirit. You are created and formed new by love.
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19.
And that is what I raise up in your as a new creation, a temple in which all My fullness dwells with you in love. For I am love. So your inner temple is filled with beautiful love, the same love that lights up Heaven so that it has no need of sun or moon or lamp. It is the Kingdom of light, there is no darkness or night there.
I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. Revelation 21:22-23.
And there is the foretaste of all that in you. For My Kingdom is within you, accessed by the One Spirit in your spirit. In Christ you are made complete. I in you and you in Me. You become My dwelling place, each one of you who have received Jesus as Lord.
How lovely are Your dwelling places, O LORD of hosts! My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. Psalm 84:1-2.
I beautify you with Salvation, with Jesus.
For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation (Yeshuah). Psalm 149:4.
If you love Me, you keep My Word, and I love you, and I come to make My dwelling place with you and in you. John 14:23. And I come together with Jesus, for He alone is the way to Me. And when I come to dwell there, I completely transform the inner man of your heart. Just as I gave the heavenly plans to Moses for the Holy of Holies so I could dwell among My people in the splendor of holiness, so I construct the Holy of Holies, not made of human hands or your own efforts, but by My Spirit in you. You become a pleasant place to dwell, for both you and Me.
And in the Holy Place of the inner court and the Holy of Holies, the inmost part inner court of the tabernacle, all was gold reflecting the light of the golden lampstand, beautifully woven tapestries, incense and holy anointing oil, and skillfully crafted furnishings, including the Ark of the Covenant with its mercy seat and golden cherubim carved as one piece, the golden altar of incense, and the golden table with the bread of the presence.
I have filled you with glory, My glory, just as the cloud of glory would come down and fill the tabernacle in the wilderness and later the temple built by Solomon in Jerusalem, so now My glory has settled down in you. And just as My glory cloud would rise up and lead the Israelites across the wilderness to the promised land flowing with milk and honey and filled with good things, so too for you who are My children the Holy Spirit within you leads you and guides you to all truth to green pastures and healing waters of peace. The glory cloud of knowing is in you. Jesus prayed that for you on the night before He died as a sin offering for you upon the Cross:
“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:22-24.
The mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory.
Jesus paid your debt before Me for the eternal life you had lost through sin. He gave His eternal life in the flesh for the eternal life within your flesh that you murdered in Adam by sin in the flesh. And now you stand before Me able to look Me full in the face with no reproach, for My Son made peace between us by the blood of the Cross. My Spirit no longer strives with you for you are indwelt by Him and you are holy and blameless in My sight. You can be one with Him in purpose and power. I made you, the afflicted ones, beautiful with Salvation. When you were baptized into Christ, you clothed yourself in Christ—the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. You are beautiful within.
The King’s daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is interwoven with gold. She will be led to the King in embroidered work. Psalm 45:13-14.
I am at work in you, doing a glorious work by My Spirit within you.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.
Love makes you beautiful for it makes you a partaker of My divine nature.
O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering Yourself with light as with a cloak. Psalm 104:1-2.
When I sent the exiles back to Jerusalem with the funds to rebuild My temple, they became discouraged and stopped building, but I roused them to work and I told My servant Zerubbabel, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of hosts. “What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the chief cornerstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zachariah 4:6-7.
It is by grace you are saved and made anew, rooted and grounded in Christ, rooted and grounded in love. Built upon the chief cornerstone by grace.
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. Colossians 2:6-10.
Complete in Christ you lack no good thing. In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge which are adorning your inner sanctuary where you can find answers and mercy just when you need them.
And I had more to say to My prophet Haggai as well. But if you will note the latter glory is about you. Your inner sanctuary of the glory.
On the twenty-first of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet saying, “Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying, ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:1-9.
If you remember, Jesus likened His body to My temple in Jerusalem when they asked Him for a sign of His authority to do My mighty works in My house.
The Jews then said to Him, “What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the temple of His body. So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken. John 2:18-21.
He answered in what they thought a very confusing way for they were thinking of the physical temple before them and not the inner temple of your spirit indwelt by My Spirit for that was something new that I now do in you. Do you not perceive it?
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:23-24.
Though Jesus emptied Himself of His power as God and became flesh He was born from above free of sin, He was the seed of the woman that came to crush the devil’s head (authority over your lives). He was the first man since Adam born of the imperishable seed of My Word from above. You are all born from below from the perishable seed of Adam, but Jesus could not be and be your sin offering. That is why He is called the second Adam.
When My Spirit came down upon Jesus at His baptism by John, My Spirit remained for He could dwell in Jesus. Within Jesus was the sanctuary that is now in all of you who are born from above in Jesus by My Word of truth. Just as My healing power was present in Him and emanating out from within His spirit so now does that same power reside in and emanate forth from your spirit. It gives Me glory when you release this power by laying your hands on the sick so they recover and reaching out your hands for others in prayer to Me. I am at work within you, you have only to work it out. I will complete the perfect work I have begun in you.
In your newly created spirit you are beautiful beyond all that is seen in the world by the physical eye. Your spirit born from above is of heavenly substance, not made of human hands, but by Me. Your inner shrine is magnificently adorned with supernatural splendor. And you have the privilege of praying to Me and with Me therein, the place of perfect union and fellowship is there for you every moment of the day and night. Do not spend your time in the outer court of your body and soul, go for the gold of the splendor of righteousness in the secret place within your spirit. When you pray, go to the secret place within, our sanctuary, the very Holy of Holies, close the door and pray to Me in private and what no man sees I see and reward you.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple (highly decorated and adorned shrine) of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
I have purchased you at a very great price. I paid your debts and ransomed you out of the slavery of sin and death. When I buy you out to bring you into My house I take on all the privileges and responsibilities of ownership, of Covenant, of the bond of total commitment to one another in everlasting love.
Think of the story of Hosea and Gomer. She kept leaving him, breaking covenant with him, and he would always seek her out and bring her back. Finally she went so far and rejected him so totally that she came to the lowest place in her life and was being sold into slavery on the auction block. But no one wanted to buy her sin destroyed body, no one wanted the responsibility of owning her. And then Hosea ran forward and purchased her for superabundantly beyond what they were asking for her life because she was valuable to him. And he bought her out of the slavery of sin and death where her idols had taken her to be his bride forever. Do you see what I am telling you?
Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:16-23.
At the end of the listings of what you have under the blessing and what you have under the curse in Deuteronomy 28, and remember Jesus has redeemed you from the curse of the law, the conclusion of what the curse does in the lives of those who have chosen the ways of the devil and lived the unfruitful life of sin, the final conclusion is, “The LORD will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I spoke to you, ‘You will never see it again!*’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.” Deuteronomy 28:68.
But I will always buy you back to Me no matter how low or far you have fallen. You are more precious to Me than the entire universe. I gave My Son for you. You have been purchased at a great price. Do not return to slavery a second time. Walk with Me in the Spirit and never again return to the low life where Adam put you that I have saved you from. Like the daystar, like the dew, all new, today I have begotten you. You, with Jesus, are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
I love you. Glorify Me on purpose in your body. You are My temple filled with My glory. Let My glory shine. When the sun hit the temple that Solomon built for Me you could see the glory for miles for it was entirely covered in gold. A temple on a hill cannot be hidden. And neither can a new creation in Christ.
*Do you remember what I am talking about in Deuteronomy 68 quoted above, that is, by the way about which I spoke to you, ‘You will never see it again!? It is about returning to slavery a second time. If you recall when I redeemed My people from slavery, it turned out Pharaoh pursued them to take them captive into slavery a second time. At the brink of destruction, facing the deepest part of the Red Sea on one side and the thundering chariots of Egypt bearing down to take them back into slavery on the other, the people cried out in fear but Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.” Exodus 14:13-14. I have redeemed you, freed you, ransomed you, and released you from your sins by the blood of Jesus. You should never allow the curse in your life again. Remember who you are in Christ, a new creation, and you will never allow sin in your temple again. What does glory have to do with sin? Nothing. When the King of Glory comes the nation rejoices for the devil must flee in the face of the glory. Glory is the exercise of power in perfect love. It produces goodness. It brings the imperfect to the perfect and causes all evil to cease. Evil cannot exist in the presence of Glory. I am love and I am light, so the Glory is My goodness, presence, and power manifested in your life. My Kingdom is a kingdom of Glory. And as a new creation, you are filled with My glory.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.
