O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity; take words with you, and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, that we may present the fruit of our lips. Hosea 14:1-2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I tell you to cast ALL your cares on Me because I care for you. I take care of you. I have you covered all the time. I am the LORD who heals you in every area. My plans for you are for your shalom and not for evil, a future and a hope. And when you seek Me, you find Me right there with you. All the time. I am a very present help in time of trouble.
Have you really come to know this in your life? If you have, you are living a life filled with peace, peace beyond understanding for you have peace even in the storms of life. Why? Because the Almighty is there to take care of you.
To experience this peace you need to learn to pray Biblical prayers. There is a reason you need to do everything according to My Word. My Words are living and active and in them is eternal life. They are life to those who find them and healing to all their flesh. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from the pit. And I watch over My Word to perform it. My Word will prosper your way and give you good success. Why don’t you take advantage of these things and let My Word go to work for you to solve the problems in your life and keep you surrounded by the shield of My favor?
So, let us begin. How is it that you cast all your cares on Me? I tell you, of course, in My Word. Here is how you do it: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6. You cast your cares upon Me by coming to Me in prayer. And I tell you to make petition with thanksgiving. A petition is what an attorney files in court. It quotes the law to the judge showing him that he should grant your petition since you in line with the words of the statute. With Me, you quote My Word that applies to your situation and know that I will perform My Word. Jesus is the high priest of your confession. Witness with My Word and it will be established in your life.
Do you see what I am telling you? That is why Jesus was so careful only to say My Words and not speak on His own. He knew My Words had eternal life. He knew My Words are spirit and life. He knew My Words are living and active and produce the result they promise. He knew they were like seed which you must plant in your heart to yield an abundant harvest of God’s promises in your life.
So, as I told the prophet Hosea, you return to Me with words. You present to Me the fruit of your lips. Hosea 14:1-2. But not just any words, you come with My Words that have the solution in them to your problem. This requires you to know My Words. Like I told Joshua to be diligent in not letting My Word depart from your mouth but to meditate on it day and night, and not turn away from it, so that he would have success wherever he went. Joshua 1:7-8.
If you remain in My Word and My Word remains in you then you shall ask what you will and it will be done for you. John 15:7.
Are you beginning to understand?
For example, if you are having a problem with your boss or your spouse or a co-worker and you have tried to reconcile and make things pleasant but it is not working out, what you should have done in the first place, but what you can easily do now, is to cast that care on Me so I can resolve it for you. For only I can move a person’s heart. And this is the way to do that. You come to Me with Words, you present My Word as your petition with thanksgiving. You would say: “Father, I am having a problem with (name whoever it is and tell Me the problem),” and then say, “Your Word says that when my ways are pleasing to you, you even make my enemies be at peace with me, and I am in Christ and He always did what pleased you, and as He is so am I in this world in your sight.” Proverbs 16:7. And then ask Me to turn that person’s heart to you to show you favor. For the heart of the King is like channels of water in My hand and I turn it anyway I wish. Proverbs 21:1. And present that Scripture to Me too.
Nehemiah is a good example of this. He did not go beg the king to help him rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He had fear of the pagan king of whom he was a prisoner of war far from his beloved Jerusalem, which lay in ruins. He instead turned to Me and presented My Word to Me (put Me in remembrance) so that I could perform it. He first prayed: “Remember the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful I will scatter you among the peoples; but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered were in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen to cause My name to dwell.” And then he asked Me to make him successful that day and grant him compassion before the king. Nehemiah 1:13. And I did. The king asked him why he looked sad and when Nehemiah told him, gave him great favor.
And I tell you not to worry over your situation, even if you caused it, but to turn to Me in prayer and petition with thanksgiving. Manasseh did this and had a miraculous delivery. 2 Chronicles 33:12-13. And once you have presented My promise to Me as applying to you, then take comfort in the Word I have given you. If you need healing, present Me with healing scriptures and claim them as you own. Say “Father, by the scourging of Jesus I am healed, and you are the LORD my healer, send forth your Word to heal me and let it be done to Me according to Your Word.” And lay your hand on yourself as My Son told you to do for the sick. Cast out the demons in Jesus’ Name. The Name I have given you that is above every other Name and has the power to save you. His Name is a good prayer. Jesus (Yeshuah) means salvation.
Cast all that heavy care on Me and know I will give you the help you need. Come with confidence to My throne of grace and receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need. But come with My Word to you for Jesus is there as the High Priest of your confession to see to it that your word is performed. Make sure your word is My Word if you want all the promises to manifest in your life. For they are all “yes” to you in Christ Jesus.
You can trust Me to take care of you. No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue raised against you will be proved false. Bring that Scripture to Me and watch Me perform it. Your righteousness is from Me. Seek My kingdom first and My righteousness and everything will be added that you need. And you do that by your words.
And when you see My care manifest in your life just as I promised (and you will) it is then you begin to relax into My everlasting arms and And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, My dear children, imitate Me and walk in love. And it starts in your thoughts, so guard your hearts and watch your thoughts and set your mind off anger and grumbling to whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. And then I, the God of peace, will be with you.
Great peace have those whose minds are set on Me.
Keep My Word always before your eyes and in your heart and mouth. Pray Biblical prayers and you will get the results your heart desires.
When you pray My Word you live My Word and that makes Me your judge, lawgiver, and King, and what do I do for you if you give Me that position of complete authority in your life? I save you. I have a singular kind of justice, I take everything you did wrong and account it to Christ and take all that He did right and account it to you. I punish Him in your place and reward you in His place.
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us. Isaiah 33:22.
