“And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’” Luke 10:9.

Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

“Would that you might meet us doing right, that we might be mindful of you in our ways!” Isaiah 64:4-5. You know not the day or the hour that Jesus will return, but you can read the signs of the times. Make every moment a Kingdom moment. How do you do that? Whenever Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom had come near it was in conjunction with healing and freeing people from the oppression of the devil.

“And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’” Luke 10:9.

“You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38.

Seek first the Kingdom and all else is added. How do you seek the Kingdom? How do you seek anything? Say you were seeking a valuable article you misplaced, what do you do? You look for it everywhere you can think it may be until you find it. And My Kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I anointed Jesus with the oil of joy because He loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Psalm 45:7. When you seek My Kingdom you hunger and thirst for righteousness, peace, and joy—and you conduct your life in keeping with those. Loving righteousness will give you joy and peace, for your righteousness comes from Me. Isaiah 54:17; 2 Corinthians 5:21.

“But of the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your companions.’” Hebrews 1:8-9.

Be looking for righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, not the worldly kind, but My kind, and you will be seeking the Kingdom.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:32.

Continually make melody to Me in your heart and do all you do unto Me. It is Me who is your true source for promotion and blessing. “With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.” Ephesians 6:7-8. And this will keep you in the flow from the Kingdom.

“To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests unto His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

I have made you a royal priesthood and a people set apart. You are citizens of My Kingdom by birth, that is, your new birth from above by the seed of My incorruptible Word and by the water and the Spirit. I willed you into being from eternity past and I will sustain and nourish you now and forever. You who believe in My Son’s Name have the privilege of being a joint heir with Him of all I possess and of being My very own treasured people, My family. I have bestowed upon you in Christ a great honor and privilege—the redemption of possession. My banner over you is love and My Kingdom is here for you now. I have blessed you in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the Kingdom of Heaven. And it is yours now if you take it by faith, the connector and conductor between Heaven and earth.

Today, we want to continue talking about how the manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven upon the earth is recognized and released. Jesus always lined up the nearness of the Kingdom with miracles of healing, forgiveness, and provision. For in Heaven there is no sickness, mourning, death, lack, grief, pain or darkness, all is total shalom, love, and light.

The atmosphere of Heaven is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit and all is permeated with Love, My very self. Love beyond love, love like you have never experienced here on earth, for if the full force of My love were to surround and penetrate you it would lift you out of your body up to My embrace in Heaven forever. Your mortal body cannot contain the full force of Love without being raised to Heaven, but you can be filled to your maximum even now. Few people allow that much love to flow in for they are too wrapped up in earthly concerns and restraints that resist perfect love. Love never harms the neighbor, even in thought. Love has no darkness in it at all. And doubt, fear, or worry will stop the flow, as well as any offense or unforgiveness. Beware of these things, which start as little foxes, but if ignored and permitted to remain in your thoughts and words, will gnaw away your peace and joy and make you unable to receive what I have for you. This can block healing and provision as well.

You will notice that in Jesus’ life on earth, He could not release the Kingdom and do miracles in an atmosphere of doubt, offense and unbelief. This happened in the town of Nazareth where He had been reared. They would not accept Him as the promised Messiah. Rather than receive from Him they responded to His teaching and revelation of Himself as the promised Messiah by trying to hurl him over the cliff. Luke 4:28-30. He walked through their midst and left them and moved to Capernaum. Their unbelief amazed Him. Do not amaze My Son in that respect. You want to be like the Centurion at whose great faith Jesus marveled. And he received a miracle for another just as he requested it to be done.

“Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, ‘Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.’” Matthew 8:10.

Once Jesus moved to Capernaum, the great miracles began. If you recall the synagogue leader in Capernaum was Jairus, who had faith in Jesus and had the miracle of his young daughter being raised from the dead by Jesus just as he had requested Jesus perform it. And the crowds there pressed about Him and sought His presence by faith.

“Leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, and those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a Light dawned.” From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:13-17.

Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23. You see again, healing and the Kingdom being near are joined, healing is a manifestation of the Kingdom touching the earth as a place where My Will is being done, which is healing and every other blessing. And the news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them. Large crowds followed Him from Galilee and the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from beyond the Jordan. Matthew 4:24-26. And this is the first time in the gospel according to Matthew that Jesus is revealed to you as the healer. And He healed an entire crowd, news of which brought more crowds seeking to hear and be healed.

“Jesus came down with them and stood on a level place; and there was a large crowd of His disciples, and a great throng of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were being cured. And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all.” Luke 6:17-18.

All were healed because all came in faith for they had heard and believed in His ability to heal. And it was not limited to one kind of ailment. I heal ALL YOUR diseases. Psalm 103:3.

Miracles of healing grow in an atmosphere of faith and loving trust.

To Moses and My people I introduced Myself as the LORD your healer and kept the people healthy in the wilderness. Exodus 15:26. I healed them from the snake bites as well. But miracles of healing were not prevalent as the norm until the Messiah came. No blind person had yet received sight and no mute or deaf person had been given speech and hearing. Elisha did raise two people from the dead, one in his life and the other in his death and he brought about the healing of one leper, Naaman. But I told them there would come a day when “Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy.” Isaiah 35:5-6. And that would be the coming of the Messiah. “So the crowd marveled as they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.” Matthew 15:31.

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Luke 7:22.

When the Kingdom showed up in Jesus on the earth, healing came. And when He opened My Kingdom to all who would receive Him as Lord by His death and resurrection, it became available for all to receive and to administer. “The sick upon whom you lay hands will recover.” Mark 16:17.

The first individual cure spotlighted in the gospel according to Matthew is the healing of the leper. This takes place at the end of Jesus giving what is known as the “sermon on the mount.” Faith comes by hearing. The man that had been attacked with leprosy approached Jesus from the crowd. This healing, though not presented first, is documented in the gospels according to Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

Let us consider the revelations given by My Spirit in the three accounts. There is one primary lesson in this and My Spirit is trying to guide you all to this truth, for it has been distorted so that people wonder and doubt, and often attribute sickness to Me as “a blessing in disguise.” I would NEVER call what comes under the curse a blessing. Sickness is part of the curse that came into the earth by Adam’s sin and was never My Will or My idea for mankind. There is no sickness, pain, or death in My Kingdom of Heaven, so when My Kingdom touches earth through a believer’s faith sickness and pain have to go. I hate sickness, pain, and deformity, and that is why Jesus went about healing everyone who came to Him if they would just connect with the healing power by faith. But sometimes, though My power to heal was present, only one person would actually receive it and get healed.

So let us begin the story of the man full of leprosy who came to Jesus.

When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him. And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Matthew 8:1-2. In the gospel according to Mark, I tell you more about how he came, “And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Mark 1:40. And in the gospel according to Luke a bit more about his condition, “While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Luke 5:12.

The man approached with reverence and humility and was beseeching Jesus to help him, he wanted help badly to get out of hideous life he lived and was faced with as the disease advanced. He had faith that Jesus could heal him, he just was not sure whether it was His Will to do so in his case, that is, for him. He was not sure whether I would want to heal him or not.

And that is the question many who are sick or disabled are asking today. If you do not know the answer to this when you pray you will not be praying the prayer of faith but the prayer of doubt and unbelief. Which as My servant James tells you, will get you nowhere. It is a fence straddler. “But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8.

This man who was being attacked by the leprosy had My Word given to Moses that I am the LORD your healer, he had the teachings of Leviticus telling you how to be cleansed from leprosy, but when the disease kept attacking him it caused him to question whether healing was for him or just others. And that question has cost many people their healing because there really is no faith in that prayer. It is full of uncertainty as to My Will.

Get out your Bible and make it your business to know My Will. If you want to get more faith for healing, you can look up all the passages that have to do with healing and now you also have the New Testament which is full of Jesus’ miracles of healings, and the Book of Acts is full of them after Jesus ascended back to Me, done by ordinary people who had become extraordinary by faith in Jesus and sticking to My Word.

Jesus answered that question with His life of healing the sick, for in seeing Him you see Me, and with His answer to this man tortured by disease He told you My Will for your life as well, for He only spoke My Word and did the works I showed Him to do, “Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Matthew 8:3. Mark adds another detail to Jesus’ response, “Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Mark 1:41-42.

He was willing. I am willing. Know that healing is My Will and I ask you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. I desire above all that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. And your soul prospers when you are walking in the truth. My Word is truth. And I am the LORD your healer. I AM, I was, and I will always be your Healer.

And you will notice there were no long, begging prayers said by Jesus to release My healing power to cleanse the man. Simply, “I am willing, be clean.” And it was released with compassion. Jesus did not do miracles to impress people, He did not care if no one knew He had done it. He saw a need and filled it with love. He brought the Kingdom to earth. He even told the man, now cleansed, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” Matthew 8:4. He only sought glory for Me, a testimony before the priest of My goodness and that I was still very much interested in the welfare of My people.

Mark even puts more emphasis by telling you how Jesus warned him, “And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away, and He said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere. Mark 1:43-45.

And Luke added another insight, “And He ordered him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.” Luke 5:14-16. Because of the man’s testimony large crowds were gathering to be healed of their sicknesses. Hearing brings faith. And you see here that without a life of prayer and the revelation that comes through prayer, Jesus could not have so peacefully handled all the crowds coming to be healed nor persevered in loving compassion for all.

He was only looking for faith to have entrance into the life of the sick person to heal them. When people hardened their hearts to Him when He wanted to heal it grieved Him. My Will is to heal you. I do not want or will anyone sick among My children.

I love you. My Will is to heal you. Sickness has no place in Heaven, so bind it on earth as well and loose divine health and healing. And live days of grateful praise, healed, whole, blessed, and beloved—that is, days of Heaven upon the earth.

And no resident will say, “I am sick”; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity. Isaiah 33:24.
